The main reason to head in is to view (and possibly purchase) all the fun artwork they showcase. Most of it seemed to be from local artists, and there was a huge variety... modern, country, landscapes, etc. If you're not in the market for a painting, you can also check out all the cards, handmade jewelry, and other little treasures they've got around the store. Finally, what makes a store? The service. The owner took a few minutes to talk to me about some of the local artists he showcases. Though I wasn't able to make a big purchase this time, I may well do so next time I'm around town.

Upstairs they have several large looks where they weave cloth that is cut and sewn into different items. For example, you can purchase oven mitts, napkins, table cloths, cosmetic bags, etc. Prices are what you would expect for local handmade goods. A napkin is about $7-9 and a dishcloth will run you about $18. The quality is very good. The rest of the store is filled with consignment goods from local artists.

One of the owners was there the day I popped in along with another worker. Both were very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They have a beautiful selection of yarns, along with already done items so you can get an idea of your next project. I hadn't planned on buying any yarn but when I saw a cute already made hat, I couldn't resist.

She also does paint and sip, as well as sip and spin pottery classes for adults; and let me tell you, what she offers for the price is far superior to what I got in a similar pottery class in Seattle where I currently reside. She walks every person through the process in such a way that everyone learns something and each person ends up with a beautiful piece of pottery they can be proud of. It is so obvious that she loves what she does and her business success is apparent, because of it. She's one of those people who make you feel like a friend of the family-- she often remembers your name, and does everything to make you feel right at home in her shop.
