For beauty, it gets a 5 star. It is a lovely property with fabulous scenery and accents. Any couple…read morethat gets married here will leave with stunning memories of their surroundings. Food. Hmmm. I didn't include the food in my calculations since I'm assuming it is outside catering. The folks that catered this particular event were rude and their food was atrocious. The bar staff was also being odd. I was not drinking so I was offered a cup of soda. Not a can, not a garnish but a flat soda. When I mentioned there were no bubbles, I was told that's how it was made. What? Open a new can! Tadah. Once again was outside service or in house? Who knows? Here is where the ratings go down the toilet...literally. Guest bathrooms or shall I say outhouse. To expect elderly women to go up wobbly stairs to go to the bathroom is obnoxious especially if they are dressed up. It is also a liability. Pumping a toilet to get it to flush was so weird especially given the pristine surroundings. Grandmas deserve better! Show your guests some respect and at least allow an option for a nicer loo. (I guess it was good that I barely ate or drank because it limited my needs to go.) Loved the venue but I think they need to do more of the guests and not just the folks writing the checks. So I guess I'd say beautiful place for a wedding but the reception aspect needs to be revisited.

They were professional, knowledgeable and supportive, and very quick to respond to our many questions. The entire property is stunningly beautiful, from the farm itself to the newly renovated bridal suite, the groom's room, the outdoor ceremony space and the inside event barn space. We were extremely pleased with Cindy's recommended vendors especially Catering by Jonathan Byrd's and our wedding coordinator Save The Day Sisters. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding!

I contacted 7/8 to check in - she stated that she needs to drop them off early to me, as she will be leaving the State 7/15, so she'll message me Monday. Never messaged me Monday, so I messaged her. no response for hours after being left on read. At this point I'm panicking - begging her to tell me if she won't come through so I can have a backup plan, as my alter for wedding was dependent on these additional pieces - so I call, no answer. She messages me at 9pm saying she was busy with appointments and has too much going on, but rest assured my pillars will be delivered as she won't ruin my big day, talking as if they will be on Tuesday before she leaves town. No response on Tuesday after telling her I will pick them up Wednesday. Today, Thursday morning she has blocked me both on her personal page and business page. She has added so much stress to my wedding day by flaking. Unprofessional & Rude are the kindest words I can think of this woman. Do not let the few good reviews fool you, as she can and will stoop this low and does not care about ruining your event. Its time to hire some people to help you with your business if you're "too busy" to run it. You should be ashamed of yourself. Don't think I won't find away to make it known on all platforms how pitiful this business is by blocking me - I will find a way. ;)

All Wined Down is connected to All Fired Up (two separate entrances but the same building with a door connecting the two inside). You can choose to visit the "All Fired Up" side of the business and only paint your ceramic piece or you can pick out your piece and sit on the "All Wined Down" side and enjoy wine (by the bottle or glass) and/or cheese platters while you paint your ceramic piece. We arrived on a Saturday as soon as All Wined Down opened, and spent 3 hours there (the time flies by). Unfortunately, they had sold out of the cheese plates the night before so we were unable to buy any food. There is a selection of wine (sadly no beer) that is decently priced. It would have been nice to see a partnership with local wineries and breweries (for example Wildcat and Thieme and Wagner Brewing Co). There is a large selection of ceramic items to choose from and every color you could think of for your creations. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable and you don't feel rushed to complete your piece. Items are ready a week later and they will hold them for several months in case you aren't able to return that quickly to the area. It also would be nice to have the option of high top tables for those customers who are taller, so you don't have to hunch over the table for such a long time. Overall, a great experience and we will be returning with friends to create more pieces.

Reservations were simple to make online. We were greeted with a menu and an excellent wine and cocktail list. With very few other diners, we were treated to the best seat in the house with a view of flowering spring trees through neogothic windows. Another couple was enjoying a glass of wine on the porch, while another was exploring the interior of this fantastic Victorian mansion. Service and ambience were both amazing thoughout -- this is truly a unique dining experience. We had the langoustine cakes and the soup of the day, both great starts bursting with flavor and texture. We had the hangar steak and pork chop for entrees, paired with a well structured Zinfandel. The pork chop was particularly outstanding, owing both to the quality of the ingredient and expert preparation, paired with just-sweet enough parsnip puree, rainbow carrots, blistered grapes, and carmelized onion. The hangar steak was impeccably presented, cooked to temperature, and most important, a very delicious cut of well aged beef. For dessert we had a lemon-lavender mousse bombe, again as well presented as it was delicious. The tart lemon pop rocks on top were tge perfect touch and sheer nostalgic pleasure. We finished our evening with a self tour of the mansion, and carried home half of our amply portioned meals to enjoy as leftovers. Lafayette's best kept secret. Meals as memorable as the historic setting.
