All of the instructors and videographers were awesome and fun. I was lucky enough to have Art as my instructor. He's absolutely the best! So funny and cool. He made sure I had the best, most adrenaline fueled birthday ever!! I've done a lot of industrial health and safety work and I appreciated how Art and everyone else were constantly checking and double checking equipment, altitude, and time; and worked like a well oiled team - I felt no worries. I highly recommend purchasing the video package if it's your first jump. Scotty was my videographer and he did an amazing job! Those videographers are really crazy! I received a link to my video package within hours and love the amazing video they sent. Of course I've shared it with everyone I know!! But what really surprised me was the number of high quality photos they sent as well. So worth the money! Personally, I think you'd be crazy to jump the first time and not get the video/pictures. They sent me a link for a discounted second skydive and as soon as I get my taxes filed I'm taking advantage of it! If you're thinking about skydiving for the first time, go to Skydive Palatka, they will take good care of you!!

I was rudely informed that customers are expected to "plan on waiting hours to get their turn." It appears that this is actually a first come - first served operation. I was informed that, if I didn't like it, we could go somewhere else. We did! I've been involved in Army airborne operations for over 30 years and find Skydive Palatka unsatisfactory. I was, however, able to recover my credit card deposit. NO, I would NOT recommend Skydive Palatka. CW/5 Joe T. U.S. Army (Ret)

We told them we needed to be out by a certain time and they made sure we were in and out in record time. There was a whole separate indoors area for spectators which was perfect for a cold day in Florida. And once the bride to be was up in the plane and about to jump we were able to move outdoors to exactly where she would land and took some great pictures. Ben gave some good instructions on how much time it would take between when they took off to landing so we followed that and it was pretty accurate. Ben was the bride to be's instructor/co flyer and he was great! Funny, knew his stuff, clear, and cool. The ladies in the front registration area were also nice and on top of everything. The pictures they took were so good and $40 which was reasonable, the video was more expensive so we just got the pictures. We would certainly come again and this time join her in sky diving!

It felt necessary after spending 20 minutes in his lap on the way to 10,000 feet before he opens the door an says I have to hang my feet out of the plane. My biggest fear was my weight pulling Caleb out of the plane unexpectedly. The view was spectacular over the area. The wind was so calm and quiet once the chute opened. The rolls in the sky were so much fun. The landing was exciting as well. Caleb told me to lift my legs and feet just as we landed on our asses and skidding for about 10 feet. SO MUCH FUN! #letsdoitagain #bucketlistchecked #newaddiction

This is a unique store to say the least, located in the back corner of a small mostly empty strip…read moremall, it's definitely not in plain sight or easily found if you aren't familiar with the area. A business associate of mine needed to purchase a few articles of clothing after changing his travel plans and wasn't interested in visiting the local Walmart or Bealls so we decided to check out this place since they seem to have somewhat of a niche business when it comes to offering name brand sports wear like Nike and Under Amour just to name a few - the prices don't seem competitive with the brand's outlet stores but then again you can get name brand clothing in remote locations, you can also get baseball gloves, bats and soccer balls. Seems like a good business model unless you're a stock holder or employee and you're worried about the 100's of store closings or lack of customers. We were the only customers in the store during this mid-afternoon visit, the only thing more empty than the store itself was this strip-mall's parking lot although it does seem that some commuters may use the available parking spots for long term parking. The stores was very clean and organized and the staff was very friendly and seemed somewhat surprised that we were there, to me it reminds me of a General Dollar Store only for clothing and sports equipment but much less busy. Not knowing much about the financial situation of Hibbett Sports I don't know what lies ahead for this company but from what I see, I don't expect these guys to survive long unless they have one hell of a online business and the revenue supports the big executive salaries and that alone may keep them open for sometime. They were founded in 1945 so they've been open longer than I've been alive and I'm just now getting around to visiting them so what do I know. I'd return in a pinch it's just not the kind of place that comes to mind when I think of shopping...

There was a young woman behind the counter (who used "like-uh" in every sentence) talking to a man who seemed to be a co-worker, or possibly a manager. She was telling him about the habits of another female co-worker. It sounded a lot like snitching. After spending about 15 minutes in the store, circling the merchandise several times, and receiving no acknowledgement from this pair ("hi" "welcome" "need any help?", etc.) or even eye contact, I left. Never will I enter this store again.
