I had no intention of staying past closing time, I was really just killing time. I ABSOLUTELY felt like I was unwelcome and rushed. Actually the only time I bothered anyone was to ask the price of a wall clock. I was told "The girl who does the pricing isn't here". Ummmm ok. I didn't find a sale or clearance section. They're prices are competitive to Pottery Barn. I ended up purchasing a $5.++ car air freshener. I was asked for my license and address for the invoice. I almost laughed. I'm not sure if handwritten invoices, complete with you're ID and address are for everything or just because I paid with my Visa. I didn't even ask, I just wanted to leave. Overall an interesting place to browse, shop or kill time. But please don't bother them past 5 on Saturday.

No - this review is for a follow-up email I sent asking a completely innocent question...for Theresa Gwyn (or Theresa Bennett as her email address says - wanna make sure she gets credit!) See, it's actually pretty simple - I couldn't remember how long the timeframe for delivery was on my furniture I ordered. My wife and I ordered a $740 ottoman. (That's not a NORMAL price for an simple otttoman - but that's what my wife wanted - so I spent far more money than I wanted to for her - to get her what she wanted.) My wife asked me a question because we weren't sure when to expect the item. I'm sure their customer service people don't care about their customers asking a completely innocent question about timeframe. Theresa's response: "The ottoman was a special order item and states on the bottom of your receipt that it is a 6-8 business week lead-time." WOW! Now I'm sure Barry - the sales person who worked so hard to find what we wanted - will be happy to hear of Customer Services completely inappropriate response to a customer. I will share this review on ALL AVAILABLE websites because that will be great for Lindsey's as well. I'm pretty sure they'll make sure that Theresa Bennett (or Theresa Gwyn as she signs her email) will keep her job. Keep that negative response going Theresa...but a customer looking for a timeframe is relatively normal - in case you didn't know that! I'll take my expensive taste to someone who doesn't treat me wrong! Sorry Lindsey's - Theresa sends me somewhere else! Or maybe - this is how Lindsey's trains them... I don't know. Darby was super helpful and keeping me updated. Found some real quality pieces. My Italian leather sofa and love seat came in months earlier than expected. I bought a couple things from their clearance room that were exactly what I was looking for and few things from the floor as well. All in all a great experience. They back up their pieces as a dresser I got, one of the doors looked slightly wonky. Maybe damaged during the move? But they sent out someone from the repair dept. and was good as new. All in all I was happy with the value, service and quality of the furniture and accessories I got. It is nice to be able to see and feel what you want in person and not take your chances online.
