After a terrible experiance at another mattress store we tried sleep center. Here we met a decent salesperson who did not try to oversell us or steer us in any particular direction. Rather he showed us several price points and was knowledgeable on all the products. When asked to provide a quote on two of the options we liked he was able to input and print them out in a matter of minutes. This allowed us to leave and talk with one another about our decision, in other words we slept on it. The next day I returned and we made our deal. It will take about two weeks for our mattress to come in and I will update the review at that time, but so far the place is 5stars. read more

We bought a mattress several years ago from Sleep Center which did not hold up well for us over time. Whey we bought we mattress they told us about their money back guarantee. Several years later we called The Sleep Center to tell them about we had some problems with the mattress, fully expecting them to tell me the reason they could not do anything about it. We could not have been more wrong. They again told me about their satisfaction guarantee. They had me send some pictures and measurements of the mattress and based on what they saw they told me to come in and select a new mattress and they would give me credit for the original purchase. I worked with the Thane Taylor, the owner. He is a terrific guy and very knowledgable. He helped us select a new and better mattress. We got full credit for our old mattress, paid the difference on the new and better mattress. Our new mattress was delivered and set up in two days. The deliver people could not have been better and we are sleeping well again. We could not have had a better experience than we did with The Sleep Center. We just purchased a home in the Pensacola area and after our furniture was delivered, discovered that...contrary to what the furniture salesperson (from a different store) had led us to believe...we did need box springs. We had purchased 3 bedroom sets...only 1 of which was a platform bed, while the other two were not. We had friends who were traveling that same day to stay with us, so we desperately needed 2 box springs. After calling a number of bedding stores, we learned that none of them could possibly accommodate us and deliver the items we needed. Then, I called The Sleep Center and spoke to Nathan. At first he didn't think there was any way they could help, but after understanding our situation (with friends traveling to stay with us), he asked us to give him a few minutes and that he'd call us back. About an hour later, he called and told us they WOULD be able to deliver what we needed. I offered to pay for them right then, but he declined...suggested we wait until the delivery was completed and that what they were sending was what we needed. Talk about superior customer service! Anymore...at least in our experience...that (customer service) is a 'lost art'...but not for Nathan and The Sleep Center. Thank you Nathan! read more

The Sleep Center has the best customer service on the planet. They are my old standby. They treat you right there. They even will take the mattress back if it just doesn't work for you. Last weekend I was desperate. My mother is 90 years old. She must have round the clock nursing care. The old mattress for the night shift workers had to go. Randy Bokemper helped me find a mattress and box spring at a great price. Then, his assistant, Barr Wilkerson carried it out for me. They were so patient and thoughtful. First and foremost, the sales guy left us alone to try out mattresses in peace! When we arrived, he gave us a quick rundown of the store, told us to help ourselves, and that he'd be over there if we had any questions. It was incredible. Every other mattress store we had visited had pushy, nosy, in-our-faces sales people, and it was unnerving. We had previously been pushed into an expensive mattress at another store down the street, but were not satisfied, so returned it and went in search of another. At sleep center, it was super easy to comfortably try out mattresses, and because we weren't pressured, we found a really nice one that was much less expensive than the ones up front, or the one we had previously returned from that other store. We took our sweet time (experts say you should lay on a mattress for 10-15 minutes before deciding), and the results after two weeks sleeping on it have been great (and did I mention it didn't cost an arm and a leg? I'm really excited about that). Great place, great experience. We'll be coming back for our next mattress purchase. read more

We invested $6000 in a p5 split King a couple of years ago and couldn't be more unhappy. We thought it was a lifetime purchase but instead it was a lifetime mistake. The split top has widened to 9 inches. I have called the store which referred me to the company many times. They explained that a split of 6 inches is acceptable! That is weird?! Why is that ok? How can their policy of HALF a FOOT gap in their expensive bed be tolerated!! That is not how they're sold! It is Completely false advertising! I wish I had the time and money to sue Sleep Number! We would've been happier buying a $300 foam mattress! I will be making complaints next with the Better Business Bureau. read more

My husband and I were at the end of our rope looking for beds for our new place. When greeted at the store Nick, super awesome salesman, asked, "Can I help you?" and I said, "I sure hope so!" It was all downhill from there. He listened to our challenges and was thoughtful and straightforward with options. He went above and beyond to answer questions. My only regret in choosing The Sleep Center , is th a I won't need a bed for , ( hopefully ) a long time , so I won't get to see them ! These guys were just perfect from beginning to end . No hard sales , they don't work on commission , so , it's a connective effort for sales . They specialize in ladies questions , lol , very patient . The customer service was outstanding . I bought a bed from them in 2013 and came with a 10 year warranty so I'm trying to get them to replace a box spring now their telling me that it's not covered; I still have my paperwork about the warranty & it clearly states a 10 year warranty on it to me it seems that once you make your purchase they try to weasel out of the warranty. read more
