I've been…read morein a few time as I live close by, usually pretty good customer service, unfortunately the last couple times I've been, I've gotten no welcome at all just eye contact, which I return reply with a smile. I was picking up a few holiday sales items for next season. I intended to spend more time in there shopping however, a young mother and her little boy were in the store, the child was running all over the place with the mom walked around on a call with the speaker phone on. It really killed the calm atmosphere I usually get to enjoy in Kirkland, I wish an employee would have tried to correct that. I will still continue my shopping at this location.

The cashier was unfriendly and could not be bothered when I asked a question about a sale item. She just yawned multiple times and pointed to the tag. She wouldn't clarify how the yellow tag system worked and refused to even communicate with me beyond saying yes or no. I felt like I was inconveniencing her. The manager finally stepped in and answered my question politely and clearly. This used to be my favorite store, but it is no longer worth it if I have to be treated like I'm imposing on the employees by shopping there.

We liked the color, IIRC upgraded the cushions for longevity, the stain resistance of the fabric was emphasized and we mentioned multiple times we wanted removeable cushions so they could be cleaned. We'd checked at the store in front of the staff that they had zip covers - yep, we're good. Worst case, Woolite in the tub. We really liked the couch, the fit, the feel, the upholstery, all of it. We caved on the back cushions being fixed as there were either no options or we didn't like them. Delivery was great and if there was any delay, it was tolerable. The cats were freaked out by the seriously tall guys that made the drop and hauled off the rancid carcass. It was fun to watch. Fast forward and I decided the throw pillows needed a good cleaning. No tags on the pillow covers, can't find one on the couch without rummaging, nothing hanging while around the edges. I called the store, asked for the fabric code and care code and was told nope. waterless cleaners only. Hello, what? The customer service number had gone directly to voicemail so I declined the transfer and went back to the site , then remembered I wasn't given the codes. I called back for them and was told "Code S" "Spot clean only with a water-free dry cleaning solvent" and "Cushion covers should not be removed and dry cleaned" NEVER mentioned during the sale. I asked repeatedly that the upholstery were as much as possible removeable TO BE CLEANED. We would absolutely have gone with another option, even an uncomfortable fabric, since we expected it would typically be covered in throw blankets anyway. Had it been even mentioned the damn thing wasn't even dry clean only. SHOP A DIFFERENT STORE.

I grabbed it and as we were walking to the next section the sales lady says "do you want me to hold that at the register until you're done looking around?" We were the only people asked that. I politely decline and she proceeds to watch us as we shop never too far behind us as we walk around. Sucks because there were a few interesting things I would have gotten if not for her.
