My girlfriend and I booked a 1-hour session for the axe throwing - this was all we did, so my review will be focused on the experience related to that. This place also offers "smashing things", paintball, escape rooms, and probably some other activities. I have personally been to one axe throwing place in Boca. I would say compared to that place, this one was an overall better experience - we really enjoyed ourselves here. Pros: - The staff are extremely nice. One of the owners (or employees - they seemed like an owner) took the time with my girlfriend one-on-one to teach us the optimal way to throw each of the different weapons given. Very patient and thorough in explaining, and even though my girlfriend had never thrown weapons before, she was able to stick the board several times thanks to his assistance. We really appreciated the time taken to show us the ropes! - The selection of weapons was large; like I said, I've only been to one other axe-throwing location, but if you wanted to add any other weapons at the location I went to, it cost extra. Over here, we were able to throw small axes, large axes, knives, shurikens, playing cards, and even shovels! It was really cool to learn the techniques for all of these. - The price is pretty fair. It was $60 for my girlfriend and I for the hour, which I found pretty reasonable for the fun we had. Cons: - We had an appointment, but it wasn't ready for us at the appointed time. I only list this as a con since some people value punctuality - we were offered to do other things while we waited (they have a ping-pong table, which we ultimately used for our ~10 minute wait, but they also have pool and arcade games). - The board we threw the axes / other weapons at was pretty torn up. Again, it didn't appear to hinder the experience (we were able to stick the board just fine), but at the other location I had went to, the board looked nearly brand new. In conclusion, I strongly recommend this place for axe throwing! You'll have a great time, and support a local business. We're definitely coming by again. read more

Had an awesome experience here! Because this was my first experience with smash rooms, I wondered about the safety. The owner provided us with a hard hat, protective glasses, and even had arm covers (I wore a short-sleeved shirt)! We felt super safe and we were able to have a much needed session of stress relieving. We were also provided a speaker to play our own music, which was great because we got to pick all of the songs that amped us up! Once we finished, we visited the game room which is covered with a ton of fun activities - axe throwing, paintballing, arcade games, board games, and more. It was a perfect way to wind down. So so much fun! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this with a quick search and after seeing rave reviews knew immediately we had to do it. And my goodness it was nothing but pure fun and enjoyment from the moment you walk in. A quick waiver sign if you didn't do it online and then you're guided off to the room. Mike was a great host and helped with getting jumpsuits if they're needed, gloves and liners, ear plugs (you'll need those!) and glasses and helmets. Better than a session with a therapist! We booked a 30 minute session with extra 10 glasses and it was worth it! Glass was the most satisfying thing is there along with the mannequin that got a run for his money with my girlfriends and I. It was our first time doing this and we felt very safe, empowered and the price felt fair. As far as the owners are concerned, I am confident that they care for their guests. The way the lady accommodated us and had just the right words for my friend (who she noticed had a break down in there) makes me believe that they are doing it to help others healing their wounds. Great place for date night. The owners are a mom and pop style business. Very homey feeling. We did the couples date night package with some add ones. The room was set up well. We were given our safety equipment and a quick run down of rules. Smashing glass bottles was a lot of fun as was the bonus items like old flatscreen tv and a kids electric bike. We also did the plate throwing which was a lot of fun and chatted with the one of the owners. They also have axe throwing and. A paintball shooting gallery which looked fun. We will be coming back. The setup is awesome and I love how they let you play music with a Bluetooth speaker while you smash *ish.
