I haven't seen him recently though. In a recent appointment too, the dentist didn't want to take an alternative approach or improvise. She kept trying to fit something that was too big for my child's mouth. In the end we decided to move to a clinic nearer to our home.

My daughter asked: why are you naming some of my teeth numbers and others letters? Dr. Shapiro kindly answerd "Letters are the baby teeth you still have and numbers are your grown up teeth" Even when we had differing opinions on care planning for my daughter's teeth she was respectful and understanding of my views. They also included my daughter in the care and planning of her dental care by offering choices of toothpastes like Bugglegum, Apple, Orange, and grape. Well today I get a call from an unknown number, I answered it and it was the dental office (weird they're calling me off an unknown number instead of their office but whatever)...she was calling about an upcoming appointment for my son but I let her know I was gna cancel it cuz they no longer take our insurance and that I now go to a different office. So after canceling the appointment she asked about the remaining balance and I let her know I was told I was getting a bill and I never received it...she then told me that she sent it herself so again I told her I didn't receive it and to send it again. She asked if I can pay over the phone and I let her know that I wasn't comfortable doing that (with all the card theft) and I can do it with the paper bill. She ended up getting a huge attitude about that and told me it was my fault that I didn't bother to check if my dental insurance was still in network with them and I told her that it was also their responsibility as well to let me know if they weren't taking it anymore and she laughed at me and hung up...so I got angry and looked up their dental office number so I called and she answered so I asked if this was the same lady that I just spoke to and she said yes and laughed and hung up again....so I called 11 more times (they didn't answer either calls)...12th call she finally answers and I'm asking her name so I can report her for how unprofessional she was...she said her name was kaci (with a k she said) and then proceeded to call me trash and making fun of me for not having a job lol ( i then told her that i don't have to work) and she kept calling me trash and was telling me she gets off at 5 so i can meet her out the office. I called her office and Dr. Armour took me almost right away and temporarily fixed my problem. It has been almost 2 year since I started to see Dr. Nicole Armour. I had bottom and top new crowns done, wonderful job she does! I am very happy with ALL my new teeth, and they look natural. She really holds your hand thorough the treatments, being available 24/7!! including weekends; responding in a few minutes if you have a problem or concern. I had a problem with my gums and right away they gave me an appointment and fixed my problem. You are never faraway from her while receiving a treatment at her office. She is caring, compassionate and understand the stress that we, patients have when having these kind of treatments. Also her staff is knowledgeable, friendly competent helpful and caring.
