The staff seem concerned and helpful, but lately it's seemed overly pushy to get more services or equipment. My teeth were overall quite clean, but I was told there was some kind of jawbone issue and I should come in for more cleaning appointments to make sure it doesn't get worse. I also got a sales pitch for Philips electric toothbrushes again. I'm told the office doesn't sell them, but I suspect they may have some kind of partnership with the brand. Also someone else told me her dentist recommended against the Sonicare brushes because they were too aggressive. I'm also not a fan of the ultrasonic tooth cleaning/scaling tool used here. It feels more aggressive than manual cleaning and often will cause pain as it runs into my gums. As to the bone issue, I would need all the historic X-Rays, but it's possible that my teeth just came in a little differently than most peoples'. The hygienist and doctor both had no real explanation as to the cause because everything looked clean and healthy. They just suggested to come in more frequently for cleanings. read more

after 3 different dentists in 1 yr. and 4100.00. I have 2 sets of dentures that Do Not Fit. I was PROMISED by the receptionist that I was going to be So Happy with my teeth. Every visit she PROMISED.... The 1st set was a mess. The 2nd set looked very nice. However... after over a year I cannot wear them. They wear a sore inside my lower lip. They bite the inside of my cheek creating another sore. Yes, I had a couple visits after to file them. Before leaving they ask how they feel. They feel fine at the time of visit (so I think) But after wearing them a bit... They're back to rubbing sores and biting inside cheek. Im Unable to eat at all with them. The Dentist was getting irritated seeing me over it and it sure showed. It took me a year to pay them off. Paid by CC up front. It's taken me this long to write a review. I'm very frustrated. Terry should not make Promises to People that she has no control over. 4100.00 is NOT easy to come by. Now I have to pay AGAIN to get working dentures. I can't even go out to eat with my husband. Dr. Kerwin is an amazing dentist and person. Her skills are gold standard and she always makes decisions in the best interest of your dental health. She makes it a point to know her patients, and gives each efficient personalized care. Everyone in her office is extremely professional and kind. I love their service and how well they take care of us as patients, but I was very surprised to hear how much the dental work would cost me out of pocket when I walked in for the work. Then to add insult to injury, the insurance company didn't cover the paltry 40% and I had to pay another $250 when I came back for a check up. I guess I expected them to go to bat for the more expensive dental work. A little notice would have helped me prepare. Otherwise a great crew. read more

I love the staff at The Smile Centre. The are very friendly and inviting. They understand the military lifestyle and is accommodating to our schedules. Our three children and myself all see Dr. Lombardo. Jessica is the hygienist that takes care of the children's cleanings. She is so sweet. Seriously.....she is smiling all the time and makes the kids comfortable. Parents have the option of going inside with the child or hanging out in the waiting room. We've had issues with that before at previous places but parents are more than welcome to stay with kiddo. This had been the best dental experience we've had. read more

If you want to be bullied at your dental appointment, this is the place for you. Dr. Kirwin requires you to sign forms agreeing to pay exorbitant fines if you cancel or fail to show for an appointment. After I declined to sign the form (in three years, I have never missed or been late to an appointment), Dr Kirwin interrupted my cleaning with the hygienist to berate me and said that if I don't sign, I have to leave. As I got out of the dental chair to walk out the door, Kirwin actually insulted and heckled me as I left! If I want a hassle, I don't need to pay a dentist for it. read more

The worst dentist I've ever been too!!!!! They are notorious for tell people they need things done that they do not need!!!! If u go here, which I highly recommend u DO NOT! Get a second opinion before getting anything done!!! Ooooh they have "1" massage chair in the waiting room? Guess what!? Someone is always in it! U get free K cups!!!! Wooo whoo... I brush my teeth before going to the dentist! Doesn't everyone???. So my story is they told me I had 11 cavities? I thought oh my goodness. I've never had a cavity b4. I better get it taken care of right away. They did 3 teeth, offered me gas... Well I got sick half way thru the procedure, woke up, puked... And the teeth have bothered me for 2 years... I've had 2 more of the 7!!! Not 11 cavities fixed... No problem at all... I ended up w/ constant mouth pain, swelling-still! And 2 root canals! I will & have been telling anyone going to Ft. Leavenworth not to go there!!! Worst experience ever! read more

Don't take small kids unless you are ready for them to leave in tears over a 25 cent if even that toy. Care was not bad it was the attitude after that truly disturbed me. I am also not the only one who has had this issue so I figured it was time to post a review. Their process is just plain flawed. After the kids are done its pick a toy which is all laid out and all very reachable. Here's why this is bad. What kid in their right mind is only going to take one when there are like 10 buckets calling their name. Plus each hygienist is different some allow 2-3 toys some are sticklers to the "rules". So it's confusing when your child last time could grab 2 and now is told go back and put those up only one. Starts crying and the hygienist has no compassion just watches like its normal to see kids crying still insisting on one. A child in tears can seriously ruin your day not to mention everyone's day. I wish it had ended after we left but it didn't. She didn't want to get in the car. I couldn't get her out of the car. Made it to school and she's crying to go in finally missing 15 minutes of her 25 minute lunch. Sometimes even explaining these are the rules you need to understand just doesn't work when dealing with a child when this is not how it was last time. It's confusing. It would have been better if the toys were out of reach and they pointed at which "1" they were allowed and the hygienist was to get it and hand it to them. However, this is not the case. I just don't think I'll return. My day was a stressful mess and just not something I want to deal with again. It's just not worth it at this point. read more
