Great customer service at Don Francisco's. I was looking for quality cigars to share with my friends and family to celebrate the birth of my son during a round of golf. The hand rolled in-house recommendation was excellent. Only 4 stars because the place is so smokey that it felt like I smoked a cigar just waiting in line to pay. I visited this establishment solely based on yelp user reviews. The selection was decent but overpriced- $2 to $5 over regular pricing from online retailers. I also found the house blend cigars overpriced based on other cigar shoppes that manufacture their own cigars. My friend had one of the house blends and pretty much the cigar had little to no draw and he ended using almost all of the butane in my lighter just to keep it alive. After 20 minutes, the cigar was disposed of at 3/4 length. Needless to say, we will not be coming again. Shame... As an update to this review, we had a second house blend cigar which was aged for an extra few weeks in 70% humidity. The cigar had a hard time lighting up and staying lit and was disposed of after smoking for less than 10 minutes. I suggest the owners smoke a few house blends to determine the quality before selling to consumers. read more

Have purchased cigars here for years.always good store.my daughter was planning her wedding and my to be son in law expressed an interest in having a cigar rolling table for reception.i told him I would look into it.i went to Don Francisco store next day and spoke with Lew.the wedding was yesterday and I cannot describe how great having the cigar roller there for cocktail hour!!! The selection is second to none... They have pretty much everything the experienced cigar smoker could want. The kid Steve behind the counter is a walking encyclopedia for sticks, and any questions you have, he will most likely have an answer for you. In my opinion Don Francisco is the best cigar shop for miles. I have been to over 10 B&Ms in central jersey and Don Francisco's has been the best. Their staff is really knowledgeable and very kind. On certain days they have several people rolling their own line of cigars right in the front of the store so it is interesting to see how it is done. They carry a really wide variety of premium smokes from brands to vitola. If are looking for a special occasion smoke, they carry lots of hard to find cigars such as Liga Privada, Padron, and sometimes OpusX. The only complaint I have, and another user also mentioned this in his review, is that the place is a little smokey. I wouldnt wear anything you dont want smelling like smoke if you plan on spending more than a few minutes in the store. read more

A nice little secret tucked away in East Brunswick, NJ. Selection among their represented brands is somewhat light, but their home brand is quite good among several different styles and is rolled right in the store. They regularly do promotions and offer specials via their website, you can also order online by the box. My buddy had them as part of an event and the cigars were a hit.
