My two friends and I were craving açai and stumbled on this place. We asked the woman at the counter about açai bowls, and she pointed us to a chalkboard menu with a few options no pricing listed anywhere. She took our order and started making them right away, without asking us to pay first, so we just waited. When the first bowl came out, we were honestly blown away by the size. I immediately thought one bowl would've been plenty for two people, and I wished I'd ordered one to share instead of one each. I didn't say anything though, figured it looked delicious so it was fine either way. Once everything was ready, we went to pay and were charged $35 USD for 2 açai bowls. Given how massive the portions were, it felt reasonable enough at the time, so we paid and sat outside to eat. The toppings were genuinely great lots of fresh, generous fruit. But the açai itself had barely any flavor, and within about 20 minutes it had completely melted into liquid. It got so watery that we didn't want to just toss it, so one of my friends went back inside to ask for an extra bowl to separate the fruit from the liquid açai. She was told they'd only give her one if she paid for something else, so instead they handed her a cup and spoon. We ended up pouring the liquid açai into the cup so we could drink it on the go instead of wasting it. Overall: great fruit, huge portions, but the açai base doesn't hold up at all once it starts to melt. I'd also really recommend adding prices and size info to the menu read more

My review is just based on the acai bowls, I would be interested in trying their smoothies on a different visit. We had a great time finding this new to us shop. It's right by where we used to live in 2017. It's less than 5 minutes from the beach. After a night out, we were looking for the perfect fresh fruit fix. My friend and I are obsessed with acai bowls, so we turned to Yelp for a recommendation. We like acai bowls that are a bit more sorbet-like in texture. The texture here fit perfectly, however, we were left wishing there was a sweeter/stronger flavor in the acai itself. It was a bit too icy for our liking. Which might mean it's just more healthy! I'm blanking on the names, but I got an acai bowl with granola, coconut flakes, mango, banana, strawberry, and blueberry. My friend got hers with those plus nutella. I loved the coconut flakes. They were very generous with the nutella and ingredients. We were left wishing we had shared a bowl it was that big. As for the fruit, the banana was nice and fresh. I believe the other fruits were fresh too, but I think they might've been soaked in something. We found the mango to be too acidic, after a few bites it kinda hurt to eat. Not sure what happened, but I could see them being perfect in a smoothie. The acai bowls weren't for us, but it seemed like a lot of people were happy with their smoothies. I can't remember if I got Miami Heat or Miami Breeze. It was one on the chalk board. Taste really good, it does have banana but the flavor wasn't overwhelming so he didn't go heavy on the banana flavor. Really refreshing and healthy. I got the smallest size which was enough for me, even sharing wise I would recommend this or size up to the medium. The large was huge, my other party never actually finished there. I was able to take mine all the way to the beach and a great stroll to keep you hydrated and cool down. The owner was the one who made the drink and was really friendly and helpful. The owners were super nice and friendly, and actually made some recommendations that we loved. When making our drinks, a small cup containing each other's drinks were included so that we could sample the other's drink choice. A small gesture that was unprompted, but very much appreciated. Bit of a morning go to during my trip down here after an enjoyable run along the Miami Beach beachfront. Smoothies were tasty and felt like they were fruit/veggie forward and not too sweet. The Veggie Smoothies I tried were really nice--the strawberry, spinach, coconut, beet, almond milk was a particular favorite. The "Milky Smoothie" category was indeed an accurate description, as I did find the Koko Moko (almond milk, pineapple, blueberry, coconut) a bit too milky. Shop is small inside--best for takeout but does have a couple of stools. Owner/staff are friendly and charming to chat with while waiting for your smoothie. I believe they also had a Yelp check-in discount as well (or did the first time I visited), which is always a nice perk. read more

It was filled with polaroid pictures and had so many smoothie and milkshake options (catered to all dietary needs and restrictions). When we came in, there was no one else so we were able to order our food and get it quickly. We ordered the Coco Moko, La Playa, Moojito (my favorite!), and a veggie burger. The veggie burger was INCREDIBLE -- it was so so soft, had a veggie patty, guac, lettuce, corn, and was so filling. And the best part is that all of this was made right in front of my eyes.
