Rice, beans, plantain, chicken, salad, 2 pastries. It was a random too good to go app closing special. This was so good.

I live half a block away and have walked by every day since they opened. I never went thinking it was probably another tourist trap with high prices and low quality food. It is not. It's good food with good prices and good quantities. I went in because I saw a special on too good to go. (A random plate at closing, they choose what you eat) for $5 and figured I'd try it. I took a photo of what I got and I'm super happy. I'll definitely be back to get the app deal platter and to get breakfast/ lunch

Where else can you get a champagne with guanábana juice?! Yummmmm

Fine sized breakfast with attentive service and bakery. As we munched my attention shifted over to a baby iguana making its way down a planter to nestle within the greenery. Nearly undetectable, others found interest in what we might be so amused with asked us to point the little guy out, he was beautiful. Let's not allow a rogue baby iguana to take away from the fact that my server made me a mimosa with delicious fresh guayabana juice!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The salmon meal was incredible -- fresh and flavorful. I definitely recommend it if you're around Miami Beach.

Stopped her for breakfast one morning and our sandwich, pastry, and iced lattes were fabulous! Their lunch options looked super affordable and fresh too! Super clean, if in Miami again I'll be back!

This is a must go place! I'm still dreaming about the avo toast and egg! The red pepper comes on the side so you can spice it up if you'd like. It was such good flavor and kept me full! They don't have coffee flavors but the plain coffee with milk was really good! The staff was friendly and the place is small but well decorated with a few barstools if you wanted to eat there. It's also a great location a few blocks from the beach

My boyfriend and I were staying at a hotel nearby and woke up craving something fresh for breakfast. We found this place on Yelp and decided to head over to get a smoothie. We arrived to find a small shop that offered even more than just smoothies. They have juice, acai bowls, breakfast sandwiches, croissants, all types of coffee drinks, and more. I ordered a #15 which is a green smoothie that includes spinach, kale, orange, mango, ginger, and apple. It was really fresh and easy to drink. I liked it. My boyfriend ended up coming back on another day to get a breakfast sandwich. However, he wasn't very impressed. Overall this spot was pretty good. I would stick to the smoothies and juice though. That seems to be what they specialize in. Happy eating!

Cuban Sandwich with an Iced Coffee
    Andres C.

So of course when in Miami, the first thing I needed was an authentic Cuban sandwich and I had to pair it with an iced coffee. I stood near the strip on south beach (The Clevelander to be exact) and I Googled the nearest Cuban restaurants to see where I could pick up a cuban sandwich. Cuba Cafe came up and it had good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot and surely wasn't disappointed. The cafe is a small shop but don't be fooled. Upon arriving I received a warm welcome from Esmeralda and she treated me as if I had been there numerous times. Her hospitality won me over before even trying the food, which I will add was great. As with all businesses, customer service is a huge deal and she truly understood that. The sandwich was delicious and the iced coffee, which she prepared with Cuban espresso shots, was the icing to the cake. I came to this cafe the final two days of my trip and I surely wish I would've known earlier because I would've stopped here everyday for either breakfast or an iced coffee during the day. Definitely give it a shot and say hello to Esmeralda while you're there!

They have THE Best Pineapples!!!!!!!!! Okay so they have this drink that comes inside a fresh cut pineapple. You can get a cocktail, a Michalada, or a Pina Colada! They also make virgin drinks for kids. I was so excited when I found it! Oh and you can just get the pineapple on the side to eat or add to your drink for additional price of cours or maybe you just want the pineapple no problem they sell that too! Pre cut and ready to eat! When I tell you guys I have never tasted a pineapple so juicy, fresh and sweet. Oh man my taste buds were in heaven. I did my food dance for sure. I'm will be making this my first stop in Miami!!!! The outdoor sitting it very convenient and you get to people watch for sure! There's a lot going on in south beach so you can sit and enjoy the views!

Wanted a Cubano sandwich immediately upon arrival, so we came straight to Havana 1957. This spot has been recreating 1950s Havana since 2010, right down to the vintage memorabilia and the whole "Un Dia En La Habana" concept, and it's since grown into a small chain across Miami and even Vegas. The Ocean Drive location does it right: great service, very friendly and fast, food that was amazing across the board. Loved my first taste of a traditional, genuine Cuban sandwich, ham, roast pork, Swiss, pickles, mustard, all pressed together and served with a mountain of shoestring fries, as close to the source as I could ask for stateside. Ordered a rum and coke and they hand it to you in a genuinely giant glass, perfect for getting the party started, even though it was a random Monday afternoon. Vibes and atmosphere were immaculate the whole visit. Great first stop in Miami, and a great way to kick off the week that followed.

They have such cute drinks! I just got pineapple juice but my friends got their coconut drink and mojito and said it was to die for! They give you these plantain chips to snack on and they are so good! It's got a sweet, salty, and crunchy chip texture to it. For an appetizer, we got a sampler which had ropa vieja, plantains, empanadas, shredded pork, and some large fried potatoes. I loved that so you get to try a little bit of everything. The ropa vieja tasted just like grandmas. They use ropa vieja as the filling in the empanadas. The fried potato's was steak fry cut style. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Just how a perfect fry should taste! Everyone really liked the vaca frita! I think that's a must try! It's shredded beef marinated in this delicious citrus marinate. They fry it afterwards so it's pull apart, melt in your mount soft, with a nice crispy crunch to it. I think this is a must get dish. The desserts were delicious too! Ambiance is what you expect of all the south beach locations seemingly an extension of Havana if you been there. I would rank as 4 stars for the food but downgrade because they added a lot of random stuff to the menu just to get those who dont know real cuban food to eat there such as burgers and pasta lol. It would get 5 stars if they were authentic trying to offer strictly cuban only and reasonably priced. Because they take advantage of tourist and are here just for the money I lowered it to 3.
