I ordered the açaí bowl and a samosa, both were good and definitely hit the mark, just not jaw-dropping amazing. The açaí is unsweetened, so it's not as sweet as the traditional bowls, but I appreciated having that option. They also have lots of variety on the menu, which I love. read more

Although it's small, they are creative with the seating and have made good use of the space and also have tables outside with umbrellas. They have a restroom that is clean. The service is very friendly and they are happy to answer questions or make suggestions. They are also patient and you don't feel rushed trying to decide what to order. I recommend taking a look at their menu online first to give you an idea of what you would like to order then when you arrive in person view the special board before making a final decision. All ingredients are fresh and beautifully presented. Also reasonably priced for the quality of food you're receiving. Parking is paid street and somewhat difficult to find on a busy day but you should find something in walking distance. If you live close by you'll want to walk or rideshare. This visit I had the turmeric latte which is so yummy, the ingredients are perfect and the consistency is very creamy. I also had the papaya special, I think it was served with chocolate nibs and agave. A very filling and satisfying breakfast that was beautiful. I ordered the chia pudding with fruit and my friend had their avocado toast with pistachios. We split their choco donut and apple muffin as well. Bear in mind everything here is vegan (just in case that's a no-go for you). The donut was yummy but the muffin lacked the crumble that a regular apple muffin might have. We both loved our coffee selections - she had a regular latte and I had one of their specialty lattes that had tumeric in it (a little bit of a kick but nothing crazy). After a night of too much drinking, a delicious vegan breakfast right across the street from the hotel you're staying at is what the doctor asked for. Seriously this place is soothing with the natural light splashing onto the wooden tables and a tree adorned with colorful notes from visitors around the world. Just as Miami has its crazy clubs, it also has vibey vegan brunch. Two girls came in after us and after my friend and I figured out what to order, we asked the girls if they were ready to order. Since they weren't, I got the cashier's attention. He was unnecessarily rude saying he was helping the girls but we just asked if those girls were ordering and they urged us to order first. It was a pretty unpleasant first impression but the guy changed his tune quickly after realizing the girls weren't ready. We got the Marley Acai Bowl, the veggie melt, the kaapicito, and the vanilla cinnamon latte. Thankfully things got better when our food arrived. The acai bowl was delicious and big with flavorful granola, fresh fruit, and creamy peanut butter. The veggie melt was crispy and warm but was on the smaller side. Sadly the coffees were on the milkier side and not our favorite. If you need a healthy spot on South Beach after too many drinks and too much Cuban food, Under the Mango Tree is a great place. I guess it's probably also plus to look Spanish so you don't get sass from the cashier, but what can you do if you're in Miami. read more

I stopped by here after a yoga event, so our yoga group crowded the place. But I could tell it was very cute and cozy to eat in on any other day. The decor was warm thanks to wooden, hand carved appearing tables and chairs, and many plants and one of a kind cushions and draped blankets and rugs. The menu is handwritten on a blackboard, or you can order ahead online. I had the Matcha Mamma which is with house made hemp milk, spirulina, banana, matcha and coconut nectar. It had a good balance of thickness from the banana with smoothness from the hemp milk. I could have used even more matcha since sometimes it was hard to place, but it was otherwise a satisfying smoothie. They do use paper cuts and straws to serve the smoothie, so if you're like me and tend to end up with wilted paper straws, keep up a good drinking pace. Would I get it on repeat for $13+? Surely not, but I applaud the originality of the smoothie. The menu is bigger than expected. I thought they were just açaí bowls and smoothies, but they have salads, savory bowls, melted sandwiches, avocado toast and even tacos, all vegan. I actually did not come in here knowing it was plant based, but it makes me feel even better to get something from here knowing that! If you are in the mood for rewarding yourself with tasty eats and drinks that happen to be clean, this place is worth a try. I'd return for another go at the menu! read more

We were the only ones ordering and the lady behind the register had the worst attitude she acted as if she was doing us a favor. We asked her about the menu and she really didn't elaborate. During a bike ride, I stopped here for a drink and decided to try the Iron Man smoothie with beats, mango and lemon. It was delicious and I could taste all the ingredients right upfront. I also decided to try the detox shot which really rocked my insides to say the least. It was a great pick me up. My friend had the Matcha smoothie, and it was also refreshing and delightful. He had the throat healer shot, which was unexpectedly spicy, and also rejuvenates you from the gut outward. The ambience here is buzzing and cute, with a real tree in the center, covered in colorful decorations, and taking over the aesthetic of the small room. Wooden furniture with cushions, creates comfy cozy seating and reusable cutlery, plateware and glassware give a homey feel to the place. There is room for about 10 to 15 people comfortably and throughout my entire half hour there there was constantly a line and people standing, waiting for their orders as well as sitting down to enjoy them. They have multiple bike racks right outside, which is super helpful as well as some tables for outdoor seating too. Love this place! I came here because my friends had loved it, but I was underwhelmed with my acai bowl. The shop is super cute and they have the cutest little earrings. They're also focused on sustainability which I thought was cool. For my acai bowl, I tried the Chocolate Acai Bowl which came with banana, coconut shavings, coconut nectar and raw organic cacao nibs. While the ingredients seemed fresh, my main issue with my bowl was that the base didn't have enough flavor. Perhaps, it was because it was blended with the raw cacao. Came by Under the Mango Tree for breakfast today. I called ahead of time to pick up in case it was busy, and oh it was! Of course weekends are a busier time for breakfast anywhere. We ordered the Marley açaí bowl which is peanut butter and spinach blended with the açaí and berries, granola, and coconut flakes. Also ordered an avocado toast to share. The staff is really nice over the phone and in person. We picked up the food and after a few minutes we were lucky enough to find seating inside. They have seating inside and outside the restaurant. As I started eating the açaí bowl I realized they gave me the classic and not the marley as there was zero peanut butter flavor. It was still very delicious but would have been nice to get what I asked for. The line was insane and they were super slammed so I didn't want to bother. The avocado toast was pretty tasty but would have loved for the sourdough to have been toasted. The bread was cold and soft so it took away from the toast experience. A little more avocado would have been nice but the cucumbers were fresh and added a good flavor to the toast. Despite the rising prices everywhere they've managed to keep things around the same price which is comforting to get those fresh ingredients and portions.
