Hired David Laflamme and his crew to build a horse barn…read more Stall size on the contract were 10 feet by 10 feet, when barn was finished the stalls were 8 feet by 10 feet. Not off by a few inches, a FEW FEET. There were also numerous safety violations and short cuts taken in the process that the building inspector wrote a report about 3 days after completion. There was also a list of things noticed wrong by us the owners that were done wrong and that list was given to them 5 days (or so) after completion. Laflammes stalled (no pun intended) and argued with the building inspector and didn't come to finish the barn for 3 MONTHS. Then he had the nerve to ask for the money 3 hours after that. This would be enough to write a bad review, but there is more. Near the end of the project I let David Laflamme know my displeasure in the process by saying "I wouldn't let you build a dog house at this point"....he proceeded to threaten me with physical violence and threatened to "come to your house if you don't stop running your lips". I have this conversation in writing in case he wants to deny it. Oh, and he NEVER fixed the stall size. So, when it comes to having something built, try elsewhere.

They were fastidious about protecting our property and leaving it after the job just as it was before, cleaning up so you would not know they were there. The crew worked extremely hard and paid attention to "the little things" that make a difference. I would highly recommend Stalin and his crew to anyone looking to have tree work done. Stalin really knows his stuff and offered suggestions for caring for trees and other plants in our yard that we were not even looking for him to work on. He's extremely personable, as are all the other people on his crew. Finding people who are honest, polite, reasonable, and hardworking is not at all easy these days. Rotten Rock delivered in these areas--in abundance.

Rotten Rock did a great job on snow removal, plowing, and sanding my driveway. My driveway doesn't drain well in late winter when thawing beginnings, and Rotten Rock offered sanding services at a very reasonable price. Not only was I happy with the service in the winter, in the spring, my lawn wasn't chewed up as it has been with other removal businesses. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to call Rotten Rock for any of the jobs needed to be done on the property.
