Throughout the planning process, communication with the catering team was sparse and often difficult, which created unnecessary stress leading up to our wedding day. Better and more consistent communication would have made a huge difference in our overall experience. On the day of the wedding, the food quality did not meet the standard we were expecting, especially for the price point. Service was also noticeably slow, and the bar service in particular was lacking. We were told one thing regarding timing and expectations, but the execution fell short, which was frustrating on such an important day. That said, the staff was polite and there were a few dishes that guests seemed to enjoy, so I do appreciate the effort that went into serving such a large event. I truly wanted to love our experience, which makes this review especially disappointing to write. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I do not feel the service and quality matched the expectations that were set.

They were paid upfront by our father, and then again for the add on when she found out there were going to be more people. To say their catering was horrible is an understatement. They were late, didn't set the food up correctly, were missing food, and didn't think it was a big deal. My sisters wedding was in a converted garage area, so it was fairly cold, and none of the food had warmers under them. When asked why this was the situation the owner, Ben, stated that the girl was new and that they would take care of the situation. They didn't. First a refund was offered for roughly 474 and then for 575 but was never sent. They jerked my sister and my dad around for weeks, and even the credit card company by submitting false information. I would NEVER suggest this place be used by anyone.

To me it looks more like a tea shop than a sandwich shop. During our visit, they played fairly loud religious music for a sandwich shop. Next door was an ice cream shop but I didn't feel like any ice cream after eating and I'm not a big Blue Bell fan anyway. They have 2 menus and a lot of items to choose from but most are breakfast or lunch items. I went with a specialty sandwich, the Victoria (a chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread) and a sweet tea. I added their homemade potato salad for $1 more. The sandwich - this was a tasty sandwich on soft ciabatta bread but only 1 problem, the kitchen put American cheese on it. The menu indicated it had cheddar. Luckily they were able to bring me some cheddar from the kitchen while I was scraping off the processed cheese. Overall, it was pretty good because of a sauce they put on it which is slathered all over the shredded chicken. Potato salad - this is mayo based, quite different than the mustard based potato salad in the south. They added plenty of dill on the sandwich which made my colleague cringe since he also substituted for potato salad, but I thought it was pretty good. The service was a little strange as I heard our waitress keep making mistakes with another nearby table too as she kept saying "sorry" to that table as well.

One is for breakfast and lunch and one serves sandwiches, coffee, and ice cream. We chose the latter one. Small dining area but it was not busy so we seated ourselves. Promptly someone came and took our order after giving us some very helpful suggestions. We chose The Rose with broccoli salad and the Smoking Cricket with potato salad. All of it was delicious. But our favorite is The Rose. Their homemade pimento cheese with bacon and pepper jelly on ciabatta was amazing!
