I went today to get my nails done and it started out okay. I was a walk in and they sat me…read moreimmediately! I loved that. I showed the tech the color inspo, nail art(I never do nail art), and the shape from my personal photos. I said I wanted my square nails to be a bit rounder than they were in the photos. I believe the tech's name was Sam, started working and she started cutting them down. From the pinky nail the length looked great, so I said to go on. We got to maybe the end of my first hand and I wasn't a huge fan and before I could do more, she started cutting the other hand. When I examined I said, "they are a bit shorter than I was expecting, but I may be able to make them work." Trying to be okay with it, and her response was very abrupt and said, "you should've said you didn't like them before I began." I was uncomfortable and tried to assure her I'd make it work. I put in an AirPod and grabbed my kindle to read so that I could just calm down. She starts the nail polish and the little design. I'll post it below. The design is a trident and she did it upside down at first. I said something about how I wanted it a different way, BEFORE she put the top coat on and she looked at me and said yet again, "you should have told me before I started." I guess in my head it's common sense I'd want the design facing up not towards me. She finished, I paid & tipped even though I though she was unkind and didn't listen to what I wanted, and left. I got in my car and bawled. They did not look how I wanted, AND she was snippy with me twice. I got home and had my husband call to see if we could get a soak off and refund because i was so unhappy. I had him call because hours later i was still really upset. My husband called and I couldn't hear what was happening but my husband was trying to say I felt I had to be agreeable due to the reactions of the tech. I asked him to hand me the phone & I explained everything that happened and how I did agree because I was snapped at. They said I could come back and they'd refund and do a soak off(that's important to know). I got there before the time they asked me to come(6:45 is when I got there. 7 is when they asked me to come back.) I was not late, and they said when I got there, "we can cut the tips off and refund you, or you can soak off and pay $15." So in other words if I wanted everything off they'd rescind my refund. So I took the option I'm assuming they didn't want me to take, and now I'm refunded & have no top tips on my nails. I'm frustrated with the lack of accountability and that I am the issue because I didn't speak up, even though I did and was snapped at. Anyway here's the photos of what my nails looked like after they were done & when they only cut the tips off so I could get a full refund.

She comes in and does mediocre at best massage. I wanted firm pressure. At some points it felt like she was only rubbing the tip of her finger on me. Massage finishes. She leaves door open again for me to change. I close it. Within about 40 seconds, she comes back in while I AM STILL CHANGING. She removes the paper towel from the head rest and puts a new one. I am still changing as she smooths out the wrinkles from the same sheets I was on. Table is ready for next person. I am not sick and was clean, but this is the most disgusting thing ever. Especially during flu season. Ugh. NEVER again.

We agreed to a 30-minute table massage and then they upsold us while we're laying on the table to add a foot massage. They almost immediately cracked my back after a laid down which felt great (just not sure what their qualifications are for spinal manipulation?). It feels mostly like a deep-tissue massage, but they use their elbows/forearms and bodyweight to dig into your body. My biggest concern is how close they get to your spine. I definitely feel the range of motion in my neck increased (much less tight) but my spine feels super tender the next day. I was NOT a fan of their foot massages while upside down on the table. Overall, I would suggest being vocal about what yOu are/aren't comfortable with although language barrier may be a problem. And if you have any type of pre-existing injury, I'd say steer clear.
