The hostess at the restaurant called the spa owner for me and I was informed that she would not be available for the appt. This was the most horrible experience I have ever had. One thing I especially appreciate is that they offer lymphatic massage. I've been recently dealing with bloating and water retention issues, and I've read that lymphatic drainage massage can help reduce that. I mentioned it to Annie, the owner, and she said that her massage therapists are trained in this type of massage. While it's not on their menu of services, you can ask for your massage therapist to include it in your session. This is definitely a huge bonus for me. The pricing is also incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality of care and skill.

Soooo, when I went back and asked for a hot stone massage I was surprised at the deluxe experience. I am updating me review to include the words, "other worldly", "heavenly" and oh so relaxing. I had hot stones under my back (under a cloth) to rest on in the beginning, and stones on my core and between my toes and under by palms....again soooo relaxing. Lea began with a scalp massage in gentle circular motion. I could go back and just have that for and hour! Once she moved on to body work, she again used firm and flowing strokes to melt my stress away...I was comfortable the whole time. Just go.
