The receptionist said they had gotten a new system so things were not quite working right. But I was able to hold the massage reservation with my credit card. If you are staying at the hotel, they recommend you come in the robe from your room which I did. I waited a few minutes in their lounge then my therapist Marisol came and got me. She took me to a nice room around the corner. I got an 80 minute massage. Marisol did a good job working all of my various body parts and ask about the pressure. I said she could actually go hard and she did. Overall a really nice massage. Its a small space so it does not have a changing room or shower facilities so I just went back to my room to shower.

On top of that, there is construction going on and you have to go downstairs to access the spa area. The spa is dated and does not look "healing" one bit.

We were in last week and really disappointed in our massages.  First, when I booked these massages…read moreit was with two different therapists both who I read their profiles and thought would be good for my wife and I.  At no point was I communicated to that this had changed.  Secondly, I requested a couples massage and at no point was I told that they couldn't accommodate a couples massage.  Finally, the massages we did receive were both the worst massages of our lives.  My therapist Dana Haynes kept using the sheet to rub my skin to the point I felt like layers of skin were coming off.  She didn't massage my arms, chest, abs, quads, shins, or feet in an 110 minute massage.  My wife shared that her therapist Rhonda Wendzel would not massage one side of the body even close to the other.  She left the room to close the back door and she kept adjusting the table up and down.  I shared this experience with the Spa team and requested some sort of refund. They refused my request. I have had over 500 massages in my life and this was by far the worst. Please don't give them your business as there are many other great Spas in Santa Fe.

She is a very warm, kind, and friendly woman. Also, I love that she makes water with oranges -- it's a little touch but really makes a difference and makes it feel like you're at a spa! Most of all, however, she does incredible massage. She listens so well, releases the tension but also is very gentles, caring, tender and respectful of the body. I always feel like she does exactly what I ask her to do. If I ask her to apply more pressure, she does it. I feel like I can trust her with my body and she has excellent judgement and intuition on how much pressure to apply. I feel revitalized, nurtured, relaxed after her massage -- and most importantly, it's safe, nothing ever hurts or is sore. It's perfect for the body. This is THE perfect massage and like others have mentioned it is nourishing not only on a physical but also emotional and other levels.
