Excellent massage. Blows Massage Envy (where I cannot seem to get it appointment, even though I'm a member) and the likes away! Very professional, clean and well equipped. My therapist Lucy was MORE than AMAZING! A perfect combination of intense deep tissue, using knees and even waking on my back.. with great skill! ...and a soft but firm touch that was perfect for relaxation. I feel great ! WORST MASSAGE EVER.... My wife and I went there on 9/10/21 because there they had 4.5 stars. We always get massages on vacations. After 4 days hiking in the mountains, we asked them for a "Deep Tissue" massage. John, the guy that massaged me, mostly used his palms and not his fingers. It felt more like a "Light" rub down. He has no idea what a "Deep Tissue" massage is. My wife's was a "little" better but still the worst massage she has ever had. Again, we often get massages....these were very bad. Maybe they have other masseuses that work there??? Lastly, we asked for a 90 massage but they only gave us 60 minutes. But that was a blessing in disguise, because the massage was so bad and 60 minutes is much cheaper than 90!!!! read more

My boyfriend and I came here for a couples massage. We were greeted by a friendly woman and an older man who took us to an extremely sunny back room. When they started the massage we were asked what level of firmness we preferred, but never any questions about troubled areas/injuries. About 10 minutes into the massage, the man who was massaging my bf left the room to talk to another employee at the front desk. When he came back in, his cellphone started ringing. At some point, another employee walked into the room and they were all discussing something or another. Over the course of 5-10 minutes, the door to our room was left open and employees kept walking in and out (my bf wasn't bothered by any of this, but I was laying completely naked and uncovered and it made me feel really uncomfortable). Eventually, and without any explanation, another woman took over for the man massaging my bf. As time went on, I finally started to feel relaxed. But then my ladies cellphone started ringing loudly. She never bothered to reach over and silence it or turn it off. At one point, I had even thought that maybe it was my phone that I accidentally left on, but I poked my head up and it was her iPad ringing. And then it happened again later on! I couldn't believe it. The massage itself was pretty good. She knew what she was doing and worked out a lot of knots that I didn't even realize I had. Because of this, I wasn't even going to write a review, I was just gonna let everything go. But when we went to pay afterwards, we were surprised to find out that they ONLY TAKE CASH! No where on their website or in their store does it mention this. NO WHERE. And no one bothered to tell us!!! That is *really* important information to communicate to your customers before hand. People don't usually carry a couple hundred dollars of cash in their pockets, especially during these COVID days. So, we had to walk 3 blocks to the Wells Fargo and walk back to pay them. During our walk to the bank, I decided to take another look at their website on google (in case I missed something) and it even says ACCEPTS CREDIT CARDS!! So all in all, the massage was good, but the ambiance was awful, not relaxing at all. If you just need a quick sports recovery massage at a decent price, then this place is fine. But if you are looking for any kind of relaxation, then this is not for you. read more

This is a no-frills place, very affordable compared to most, and you definitely get your money's worth and more! I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage here yesterday and the masseuse went DEEP. I've never had such a strong massage. It was on the verge of painful when she worked through the knots in my back. She was very attentive, always asking if it was too much. I let her do her thing because I knew the effect was going to be worth it and it was! I am not kidding you that I slept 12 hours straight last night! Another reviewer complained that they get right to work without asking any questions. I found that to be true, but if you have something to say, speak up! I told my person that I had a tender spot from hiking, she gave the area extra attention and some kind of healing salve and honestly it feels completely healed today. They did charge a surprise $5 credit card fee, but other than that I have absolutely no complaints. read more

On vacation in Santa Fe and I woke with a back spasm. I had had a few back surgeries and knew that the spasm was tied to the injury and surgeries. I hesitate to write a bad review as I am not trying to hurt this business and everyone was polite and friendly, but I did not have a very good massage and I want to write a review so others know what to expect. I arrived yesterday for my massage that I had booked via email the day prior (pro: they had availability!) and was taken into a private room by a woman who asked if it was okay for a man to do my massage ( I am a woman.) I said yes as that does not bother me and I appreciated her checking. The massage this man gave me was really just not good. He was not attempting to work on any muscles, he was just very gently stroking in almost a petting motion. I gave him some time to warm up so I could see if maybe this was just how he began a massage, but after about 15 minutes I asked if he could please increase the pressure. He did not. It wasn't terrible, I mean, it was a massage. But his method felt very unskilled and untrained and did not attempt to work on any specific muscles or work on any knots etc. Just a very gentle running of his hands over my body. I ended up paying and tipping as I didn't know what to do and didn't want to be rude, but I wish I had read a review like this before I went in and spent $75 (without tip) on this hour long massage. read more

We love massages and always try to get one on our long weekend getaways. Yes! It's a no frills place with no spa, sauna, pool or relaxing shower afterwards. We called Saturday to move our massages from Monday to Sunday and they were very accommodating in changing an appt for 2. We got an 80 min deep tissue massage. They were excellent they worked out both of our tensions spots. Used a heat lamp which almost felt like a we were having a hot room massage which I think was brilliant. It gives you warmth and relaxes you. My husband has very sensitive skin and when he mentioned it to his therapist not to rub to much into the calf's she was very attentive to this and made sure she was doing ok and gave him nice warm towel to wipe it off afterwards. They also at the end of it all gave us $50 off our total. Which was a big surprise. So don't pass up the no frills massage places for these over price hotel or in the prime location places. Thanks for two wonderful massages and getting us in a day earlier. 4 stars because of the lack of spa, shower and pools and drinks. But went for a massage and this place is worth it. read more

I have gone here several times. The last time I went was because I had strained my back. Therapist Lee is highly skilled and quickly identified that I had hurt my back because of the tightness in my hips and hamstrings. She gave me a deep tissue massage in these areas and worked to breakup the tightness. Since then (several weeks ago) I have been doing great, with no re-injury or pain. She does not disappoint. Week two I had a deep tissue Swedish by one of her staff. The next week hot stones by her. The next week Thai a talented man from Chicago (I'll find out his name and specialty), and this week was an herbal wrap with reflexology. After reading so many good reviews about this place, I was somewhat disappointed. My husband and I really needed massage therapy after our trip to Santa Fe from LA. We booked the massage for couples, but ended up in separate rooms. One of the therapists introduced herself to my husband and walked away with him. Another woman, who didn't introduce herself at all, took me to another room, never introduced herself (so I can't tell you her name), apologized for not speaking English well, then stated that she had to step out in a few minutes to "charge another patient". When she eventually returned, she complained that she was not supposed to work that day and was only supposed to answer the phone. I am not sure if she was serious or just kidding. I noted to her that my neck and shoulders are very tight and need some help. She spent minimal time on those sore parts and instead spent 15 minutes massaging my right foot. She was playing Asian music in the room on her laptop, which was ok, but the tic-tac of the clock in that small room was uncomfortably overwhelming and disruptive. When I stepped out of the room to pay my fee, she jumped up from her desk remembering that she was supposed to hand me a cup of water.
