I live out of state and wanted to get my twin daughters a wonderful birthday gift that they could share together. I called and was instantly reassured that my daughters would be well taken care of. I wanted to be assured that whether separate or together they would each be given options that would be appealing to them. I searched all the spas in Lake City, Gainesville, Newberry and High Springs. I went over menus at each looking for the perfect affordable package that would provide the most relaxation and pampering for the money. I literally looked at the Spa on Marion LAST. Not only because I had to look no further after reviewing them, but literally because it was the last Spa in the whole area. I had almost given up, the prices were so expensive for packages...I had almost decided to think of a different gift....and then I found The Spa on Marion. I was immediately assured that my girls would be pampered and all their individual and collective needs would be met. Their Fassage facial/massage/footbath package was affordable and the treatments were all what I was looking for in a package. Too often while searching elsewhere I discovered that packages were inflated with treatments that were not desirable in order to make it look like the price they were charging was warranted. I wish I could remember the owner's name, but I can't...I spoke with her multiple times. She was so helpful and very thorough. She not only completed the transaction over the phone she immediately emailed and then double checked to insure the emails were received then called me back to inform me that everyone had received the gift certificates. I also received a copy of the gift certificates and a receipt. My girls were so excited to have a spa day, I was almost worried that they were expecting too much. I had checked the reviews, which were GREAT, but I didn't want them to be disappointed. I worried for nothing. They were THRILLED. They snap chatted pictures and videos during the whole visit. They felt very pampered. They talked about the way their skin smelled after their shower, about the peaceful calming atmosphere, about the nice luxurious weight of the robes, about the wonderful massage therapists, the way their skin felt after the facials, about the seven salts that were used in the foot bath..I could go on and on. A must! The setting is very relaxing and beautiful. The private changing rooms are beautiful. They start you out with a wonderful foot soak then off to your massage. The massage room is very relaxing and clean. The therapists are very professional and very very good. A full hr massage not an hr from when you go to change. No surprises on pricing, you get everything for the price of an he massage. I had the hot stone Swedish massage and my husband had the hot stone deep tissue.....wow ahhhhhmazing!
