Customer Service is always amazing. My family and I had the same waitress and she's so sweet and remembered us.

Came here for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised. It's in a little strip mall, so very unassuming. It's connected to their restaurant The Boardroom. Walked in and grabbed a booth. Loved the vibe of a real speakeasy. Our server was great! She offered some recommendations she did not steer us wrong. We ordered the French onion soup wings to start. Great options! The escargot was good. It was drenched so you couldn't really tell what you were eating, but regardless the flavors were good. We opted to share the entree and we ordered the pork chop with the baked potato. It was ok, nothing special. I definitely enjoyed our appetizers more. Overall, this is cool spot with great service and definitely worth checking out.

It was a dark and stormy night when we pulled into this little unassuming strip mall. It took quite a while to ferret out the entrance to the Speakeasy, which actually doubles for the door to their swanky restaurant, The Board Room. Once we made our way in, we were welcomed by the bartender who was friendly and extra accommodating -- I was recovering from a surgery and she kindly stashed my knee scooter. We had a few drinks and before long the bar started filling up with locals. The next time we came back to treat ourselves in The Board Room. White table cloths and rat pack portraits gave the place an old school clubby vibe. Martinis were excellent and dinner was classic American flair with some Italian flair. A solid contender and hidden gem we'll gladly come back to enjoy again and again.

So much fun visiting here. I told my friends about it they could not find the entrance. The food and drink here is terrific. Not that busy tonight. We get the table right away. Bartender was really friendly and gave us good recommendations for my cocktails. I like my fancy cocktails. It's casual atmosphere here. Nice experience like before.

Love this place! We have tried almost the entire menu, but the Rigatoni is the best! (Strongly recommend the rigatoni) The cocktails are very good! The bartender "Jessica" is just the best! Changes up the cocktail menu seasonly ( Figgetboutit was her best drink IMO) Place is Warm and cozy with dimmed lighting. Two sections the "dinner tables" and the "Speakeasy"/ bar area. Have to open a bookshelf to get there. Cost: $$ - $$$

Our favorite hidden gem. For a more formal meal, there's the boardroom (which you have to walk through to get to the Speakeasy) This place is cozy, with an incredible staff and daily taco and soup specials (along with a host of regularly updated dishes.)

I stopped in here after work for happy hour appetizers. The bartender was amazing friendly kind and welcoming. As soon as I sat down she smiled and offered me something to drink and a menu. The food came out in 6 minutes and it was delicious. This portions were a little bit small but for $19 I should have got two!. The shrimp was great perfectly cooked seasoned and the sauces on top of it were great. The small medallions of steak were perfectly cooked and seasoned also I would recommend this place to anybody!

Definitely a reliably great place to dine in northern Marin. The staff is great, the food is tasty, the vibe is cool, and the drinks are strong. I still miss Rickey's (the same owner) but I am grateful for this place!

I've been wanting to check out their happy hour for a long time and finally had a chance to. My friend who I went with mentioned the happy hour starts earlier now which is great! The restaurant is hidden inside a shopping center and it's a little deceiving because there is not much on the outside. They turned the two doors into telephone booths which look neat. Once I stepped inside the restaurant it's like night and day. I instantly noticed the beautiful decor on the walls and ceiling. It has a nostalgic and Hollywood glamour ambiance from 50's & 60's. We shared a few dishes from the happy hour menu. Each one was delicious and the portion size is great to share with someone. We ordered surf and turf, the street taco of the day, and the fried chicken and waffles. To drink, I ordered a Cosmo and my friend had a margarita. My drink was delicious. It had a pretty pink color with a citrus garnish in the drink. The service was great. Our server was a very nice lady. She checked on us frequently which I appreciate. I will definitely be back for another happy hour. I also heard great things about their lunch.

Came here for an HH and it did not disappoint! First off, the ambiance is awesome but the area is small and filled up fast the last two times we came, so get there before 5:00 if possible. Wife and I get seats at the bar, and the bartender Jessica provides exceptional service and recommendations on drinks and food if you're undecided. First time we came we had tacos, the protein rotates, we had carne asada, they were very good. Wife had skinny margarita and I had a regular one, we were both pleased. We recently went back and had their potstickers and surf & turf apps, both recommended by Jessica, both apps had phenomenal flavor. Some of the best potstickers I've had in a while. The surf & turf was beyond good! Very tender steak medallion with pesto mash potatoes on top and a well seasoned and grilled prawn sitting ontop the potatoes. This place is consistently good!

We had a great time at the speakeasy/boardroom. We order happy hours cosmo and old fashion. Tai made them so delicious. She was the bartender and was so great with service. We met nice and friendly people, the place wasn't packed so we were able to get a seat at the bar.

Best. Place. Ever!!! Great staff and a great place to get a specialty drink or enjoy some really great food! The owner Munther is maniacally detailed in his approach to the menu, decor and service. You often see his business supporting a lot of local events which I appreciate. Just to be clear, this location has evolved over the years so if you haven't been here in awhile it will look different. It is currently attached to "The Board Room" which is a nice fine dining steakhouse type of place. The ambiance evokes images and feelings of yesteryears icons like Marilyn, Aubrey, etc. The steaks and other selections on the menu are delicious! The service is top notch too! When you enter through the board room you have to walk through a speakeasy style bookcase that is opened for you. The concept is pretty cool. When entering the speakeasy the Decor is equally classy with fine decorating touches and dark lighting. Very on brand for the name. I love coming here and it's a favorite for a lot of locals.

    Espresso martinis are the best!

Talk about happy tastebuds. Our main dish was a beautiful salmon fillet prepared perfectly with just a hint of lemon rubbed on, and presented on a bed of shelled brussel sprouts lightly roasted. The coup de gras was the dessert: a slice of peanut butter and a flourless chocolate cake. Luis recommended a sangiovese for my wife and she enjoyed it immensely. They're fine, but just not true Mexican food.. I'm really glad that I did and I was not disappointed. The weight staff was on top of everything took our drink orders right away offered appetizers. We ordered the guacamole and I got to tell you the guacamole was to die for it did not taste processed or anything. I probably could've eaten the whole bowl because it was that good and the serving was huge! My husband ordered the chicken enchiladas with a green sauce, which she did offer two other options for sauce and he opted for the green sauce cause he thought it wouldn't be that spicy, but it was a tad bit spicy for him. It comes with a rice and beans your choice of whether you want black beans or pinto beans and of course he chose black beans because he loves black beans. The rice is not your typical side of rice that you normally get at a Mexican restaurant it has so much flavor in it and it was very light and fluffy. I ordered the Carne Asada tacos with pinto beans. And again it was very tasty. I could not finish my second taco just because I was filling up on all the guacamole and a beer before hand so I ended up taking my food home. The flavors in my tacos were so good and it was not dry steak. It was so moist and tender. You could probably cut it with a fork! The flavors were just perfectly matched and not too spicy. We will definitely go back there again and try a few more things off the menu. They are open fairly late so that's a plus. It's definitely a must try place so hope to see you there soon! Before I go, let's talk about the decor. It is so nicely decorated in there. It makes you wanna stay a little bit longer just because it makes it so nice and comfy. They redid the place much to a heritage. Definitely gonna go back!

The owner, manager, or a staff member might benefit from a walkthrough to experience the restaurant from a patron's point of view. I'm not going to list everything because I'd rather not complain. For instance, the ladies' restroom has no light when you first enter, so it's quite dark. A very loud whine also continued the entire time I was in the restroom, which was extremely unnerving. Upon our arrival, the hostess was efficient but not personable. Perhaps she was overworked, but only a handful of patrons were dining before 5 p.m. The restaurant offers several rooms to choose from. To the left of the huge cow in the reception area sits a lovely bar. A separate room accommodates a large party or meeting, while a spacious indoor dining room and an outdoor patio with a large tree offer additional options. Large paintings and various sizes of statues featuring Día de los Muertos themes are delightful to view--almost like visiting a museum. We chose the covered outdoor patio on a lovely summer early evening with pleasant weather. Only one other table was occupied. Oddly, a random thwack repeatedly came from the canvas wall covering near us, which distracted us as we talked throughout our visit. We could also occasionally hear traffic zooming by, accompanied by loud Latin music or the roar of an engine. I chose the grilled fish tacos with a side salad, all beautifully plated. However, the sauce was watery and leaked considerably from the thick tacos, which appeared to be homemade. The tortillas had a peculiar bitter taste and fell apart as soon as I picked them up. My companion preferred two chicken enchiladas, but the server said the plate comes with three. I thought that was odd since most restaurants serve just two, so he simply conceded his request. The restaurant played loud, upbeat Cuban music, so don't expect soothing music to calmly accompany your meal. As we were leaving, a large gathering of workers was chatting among themselves. I was surprised that neither they nor the hostess acknowledged us or thanked us for visiting.
