Well, if you are underdressed you're more likely to enjoy a night in the car park but if you're overdressed then you'll be fine to get in. The food is pretty decent too with reasonable prices and fresh flavours. I hear the desserts here are amazing although I haven't yet had the pleasure of trying them for myself. The car park is pretty big although for busy nights on the weekend you will be hard pressed to get a spot. I recommend arriving a little early just in case. We asked if we could sit at the many empty tables at the 'grill' side of things but were told only if we were eating a meal, which was a bit precious I thought (especially as we were guests of the hotel). The manager confirmed we couldn't sit down, but gave us the tip that in 3 and a half mins it'd clear out, which it did on clockwork as the happy hour prices evaporated and so did the people. Other than that, love sampling some nice craft beer somewhere so local to us, and have to end on a super-positive note because having stayed at the hotel the night before, the manager of the bar let my then wife-to-be and her bridal party take over the place the morning of our wedding for some cool photos (including her pouring her own beer behind the counter, in full wedding dress). You have to specify vegan, so they'll take the cheese off and put it in a pumpkin-seed vegan bun ($2 extra -- their regular buns are not vegan). The zucchini and macadamia burger was delish. I really enjoyed it and would happily go back and order it again. Not wild about paying $2 extra for a vegan bun, but given the owner of this place also owns Father's Office and their vegan burger didn't even COME with a bun (sorry lettuce wrap, I require carbs) -- really, I didn't mind paying the extra two dollars. Staff was knowledgeable and accommodating, but the food was painfully slow to come out. That's my only real gripe with this place. The atmosphere is amazing (thanks to the historic charm of the building), the food is tasty, the service was nice enough, but the food was way too slow to arrive. This lunch took closer to an hour and a half, and I'd say the restaurant was about 60-70% full, not completely full. So I wouldn't advise coming here when you're in a hurry to get back to the office.
