That is why this experience has been especially disappointing. I was unfamiliar with the leasing procedures in a different country, so I made every effort to seek guidance from the leasing office and relied on the information I was given. Instead of receiving clear instructions, I was later held financially responsible for procedural requirements that were never explained to me. I believe residents, especially those who are unfamiliar with the rental system, should be able to rely on the leasing office to provide complete and accurate guidance when they proactively ask for help. Approximately 60 days before my intended move-out date, I notified the leasing office by email that I planned to terminate my lease. Throughout the following weeks, I proactively contacted the office multiple times to ask what steps were required. I wanted to make sure I completed everything correctly. I later obtained and returned the Notice to Vacate form. When I returned it, I specifically asked whether there was anything else I needed to do and was told there were no further steps required. Based on the information provided by the leasing office, I moved out as planned and personally returned all of my keys. Only after moving out was I informed that my lease termination had not been processed because the Notice to Vacate form was not submitted 60 days before my move-out date. At no point was I told that my earlier written notice would not satisfy their process or that the form itself also needed to be submitted on the same timeline. I repeatedly asked the office to identify any lease provision or written policy stating this requirement, but no documentation has been provided. Since then, I have been charged additional rent and utility fees that I dispute. Even more frustrating has been the lack of communication. Despite multiple follow-up emails over several weeks, my specific questions have largely gone unanswered, with responses simply repeating that a 60-day notice is required instead of addressing why these procedural requirements were never explained when I repeatedly asked for guidance. I understand that lease agreements have rules, but residents should also be given clear and accurate instructions when they actively seek assistance. My concern is not the existence of the policy but it's the lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism throughout the process.

If you are new and looking to move in, I would ask for Tiffany! She is fun, sweet, and very knowledgeable. I always get excited to see her, at this point she is like a friend, and we have only interacted a few times. To me, whenever the staff feels like your friends, you are in the right place! Amenities are great in my opinion; the gym has everything I need. It may be a little small, but for me I don't mind. I LOVE the safety of the building, 24hr concierge, security outside, and a secure parking garage.

While…read morehe management team there was nice and friendly, not much appeared to be done to address people that just couldn't respect others' and keep gates shut, quiet, etc. every month was a passive email to residents reminding of rules but that was it. Maybe pressure from larger corporate office to push to occupancy? They did hire a security officer role for the building and the one they had more recently seemed to at least not hang out with the tenants. I'd still question paying 3k a month to live with Towson U students on daddy's money, people that don't seem to want to secure the premises, etc. Its just not a good value for the area. Update: Recently the management made a great effort with tenants to ask about some of the concerns about the property. As a result, management indicated they were in the process of hiring a security manager for the site. It's a great effort and may go a long way to helping some of the issues that have been going on. The management is great at responding to questions and concerns and hopefully their larger management company will be able to give them the resources to help. Edited: I am placing this review as a current tenant in hopes that this generates a response by Dolben as nothing else has. 1. They allow college age tenants who think nothing of calling people "gay" or "faggot" while at the pool or joking publicly about having sex with unconscious women. Edit: they have also allowed an African American female to feel unwelcome in common areas. 2. They allow people who are non-tenants to sleep in common areas regularly and overnight. 3. They allow tenants to throw "frat" parties and have no mechanism to police this. 4. The thought of engaging security was not immediately considered as a necessity for this "luxury" apartment. 5. The front door has been broken and open to the public for months. While a new door may be coming, nothing is being done to address tenant behavior in shutting the doors. 6. The side gates are regularly left open. 7. The first floor door inside the garage has been broken and propped open for months. As a woman, this is unacceptable and I feel unsafe.

We lived in the Fox Building for about 10 months while we renovated a house…read more There are great things about the Fox Building. The staff are wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints about that. If we had a maintenance issue, someone was there very quickly. If we sent an email, they responded quickly. They were around a lot and very accessible. And always friendly and helpful! The location is great. It's near enough to be on the Avenue in 7 minutes (walking), but still far enough off that parking is as much of a struggle. The unit we had was nice; it's a studio, so it wasn't large, but it did the job. It definitely has a cool look since it's an old factory building - the high ceilings, the columns, the concrete floors. I really appreciated that one parking spot came with the apartment (not true of the other apartments in the area). There were a few things about the apartment that I didn't love however. The walls are VERY thin. We had no neighbor on our right side for the first 2-4 months we lived there. And then someone moved in. Unfortunately, he liked to play video games until 6/7am on weekdays without a headset. He also liked to have people over at 2/3am - sometimes on weekdays. We talked to him a few times but it didn't really make a difference. I got a white noise app on my phone and blocked him out best I could. I don't think this would happen to everyone in the building. Most residents are quiet (we hardly ever heard our other neighbor, maybe a few times and not in the middle of the night on a weekday), but the walls are thin enough that this particular neighbor really affected our life in the Fox Building. We had an eastern facing unit, and the light that comes in through the glass blocks of the building (sunlight in the morning and a street lamp in the night) made it so bright in the apartment at all times. This was another major issue we had with the apartment. Finally, they made a little hard to get a pet sitter in the building when we traveled. You are given two fobs and that - we were told - was the only way anyone could get in the building. There was no code (as we have had in previous apartments) that could be associated with your phone number so that someone could be rung in to get inside. When we had to go out of town, we put a flier up in the lobby for a cat sitter in the building, so I would only have to leave a key and not my key and fob (which I would obviously have to get back ASAP). I wish this process was made easier. Even a Facebook group for residents so that I could have posted to find a cat sitter that way would have been helpful. There are definitely things to love about the Fox Building, but ultimately there were some big drawbacks that kept me from loving it.

Redwood apartments are nice but we'll overpriced. The security guard at the front desk only works…read morepart-time and is unarmed. Maintenance of the elevators has been unacceptable. One elevator just got repaired after being inoperable for a year. There are many irresponsible pet owners who dont pickup their animal waste and the staff at redwood only cleans the apartment building area waste once a day. The result is a horrific rat and rodent infestation problem where rats literally fight in the street and sidewalks in the evening and night. The big rats do not fear cats or small to medium size dogs. The rats also live inside the street poles on the property yet it doesn't seem like redwood is interested in investing in some decon. There's also a serious homelessness problem there where bums, drug addicts, and the mentally ill lay in the middle of the sidewalks. Overall, Redwood is overpriced, the management is very petty, and the cons outweigh the pros. I would not recommend living there.

The leasing office says, "well, there are two other elevators." We pay $100 per month to park in the resident garage and it is filthy. I questioned management when I moved in. They said it gets power washed every 2 years. It's been almost three years since I moved in and the parking garage is still extremely dirty. There are broken tiles outside the front entrance. These have been pointed out to them several times. To date they are still not fixed. Rent is over $2100 per month for a one bedroom when they add in all the extra fees. I expect better.

Brittany, Sattie - eat your heart out. - Makes the rent look cheap for the area but with the massive utility fee not worth it. Utilities are supposed to be taken as a percentage of the full bill based on square footage. Which doesn't sound bad until your gone for a summer and are still paying $250 in addition to your $1300 rent. (My apartment was 455 sqft btw) - The building smells at all hours of urine and rotting trash. So much so that flies are attracted to the lobby. This is odd considering there should be maintenance people there all day. - The building consistently has animals urinating in the elevators and the only way it is handled in by sending a less than stern email saying to not let your animals do that followed by a febreez spray to clean the elevator. - Maintenance men overshare an egregious amount about their personal lives while they are in your home. I've heard comments like "Damn, Durran (our old maintenance man) really messed this up now when I take this cap off water is going to spray everywhere." and "Sattie is a very abrasive woman." Always a good sign when the maintenance men complain to you about their boss. - My sink backed up and flooded 5 times in the YEAR AND A HALF that I was a resident. The result was black water with food particles and grease which I had to full up buckets and flush down the toilet just to keep it all at bay while maintenance showed up. Contractors showed up to tell me that I "Needed to scrub good because that was sewer water." When I mentioned this to Sattie she said he was "being dramatic". The water damage was so bad that my downstairs neighbor told me her ceiling tiles fell down and ruined her couch. When I asked Brittany how "(redacted) was doing downstairs with her ceiling?", she replied, "The flood didn't effect anyone else in the building." - Sattie is the most manipulative property manager I have ever met. She not only bullies her residents when they come to her with an issue but speaks to them in the rudest tones and never actually fixes anything. When many of my personal belongings were ruined for the second time because of the sink, I was informed that I would not be reimbursed even though the issue was not my fault. And the insurance company wouldn't reimburse me because it didn't meet my deductible. - I came down with welts on my body from using the pool when the lifeguard stopped maintaining the pool levels. He also asked me "do you mind if I smoke a blunt?" The day later I had welts on my skin and the day after the pool was closed because it had turned green. - The front door of the building was replaced in January and it is open for a hilariously long amount of time in which anyone can follow you into the building. Between January 2025- April 2025 I saw the following: a homeless man sitting in the lobby screaming to himself, multiple nonresidents come inside the building, and was also stalked to my apartment. Do I really have to explain why I don't feel safe as a young woman? - On April 27th 2025 I came home late at night and found a man suspiciously lurking in the lobby. When I went upstairs in the elevator he followed me to my floor and loitered to see which apartment I went to. He then proceeded to ring not just mine but numerous residents' doorbells between the hours of 1am-8am (and yes he came back to ring mine again at 8am). When I called the front desk, I was told he had done this to numerous residents and that Brittany had "asked him to leave" to which I said "have the police been called because I thought I was going to get murdered" to which she said "oh he left before they could get here" No email alert was sent out to the community in response- obvi because it's Brittany and Sattie... - My floor neighbor had a situation where a man followed me again into the building and pounded on my neighbors door using force and body slammed the door multiple times intermittently between the hours of 10am-3pm. I called the police because it sounded like someone was breaking in and then was later questioned by the police. **He indeed break in and the man's dog was absolutely traumatized** You may be asking yourself "why does it seem like so many things go past the front desk? Where are the full time staff" well great question because no one is ever there. And they probably aren't because it smells like piss and trash. Living here for almost 3 months I can say I'm happy with my apartment, and the service I receive here . My apartment was clean and certain aspects of it was brand new which was a nice touch upon moving in. The building has an elevator, laundry, pool, fitness center and optional pay parking which makes life easier. It's also centrally located to restaurants,Museums, downtown, the inner harbor and the monument/ park. The monument is around the corner and is a great place to sit outside or walk the dog. What I like about the building besides the amenities is that it gets involved in the community and sometimes host fun festivities in the lobby for the holidays. 611 also keeps us posted on what's going on around the neighbor which is nice. I'm forever grateful to the staff. Brittany is such a gem and was helpful through the whole process from applying for the apartment to assisting onsite with any questions or concerns since I've been here. The staff including maintenance is usually available during business hours and responds quickly to request. Everything has been easy for me here and I appreciate that being new to town and all. I also want to mention I feel safe inside and outside the building which is often quiet and peaceful at night. I would definitely recommend 611 for the good location, nice apartment with amenities and friendly staff.

She completely went above and beyond for me when i needed an apartment super last minute in Baltimore! she met me early in the morning and gave my dad and I a tour, she is so responsive and immediately answers all my texts and questions no matter the time of the day! she even went so far to help refer me to other tenants for furniture as my stay in Baltimore was so short term so did not make sense to buy all new furniture!! She is literally the best! The apartment itself is VERY VERY NICE! super clean and well maintained. They always are super on top of answering all my questions are the front desk as well! and its nice how secure the apartment is! the garage is also very secure which was very important to me as I am paranoid about my safety! i would highly recommend living here. It is a 1 minute walk to the beautiful harbor! such a great walk and convenient location NOW that it is warm outside, they have a VERY beautiful patio and pool and grilling area! i am obsessed!!! :) it is so well maintained and the pool is salt water and heated- fancy!!
