I was excited to eat here and the chopped cobb salad & onion rings paid off! The Cobb was stuffed with fresh chicken and ingredients. It did not disappoint. The onion rings were lightly beer battered & melted in your mouth. Delish. The sauces and pickles were also delicious. Fries were ok. Groovy Fries from Sonic or Shake Shack fries stand out more to me for their taste than these fries. I was disappointed in the burgers. All three ordered (veggie, Stand burger and the Onion Stack) were dry and the taste of all three unremarkable. For the price, I was expecting more of a distinctive taste or juiciness. The food took a LONG time to come out. Three burgers, chicken bites, fries, salad and onion rings. Hmmmmm. Saw the salad sitting out for a while when the burgers cooked. I did like the ambiance: Classic rock music playing and multiple TVs with sports on. Very nice. Service was courteous and the restaurant was clean. We've ordered from The Stand a couple of times and overall had a good experience! The sandwiches and burgers were okay -- not bad, just not amazing -- but the salads and bowls were actually really fresh and flavorful. I wouldn't recommend ordering for delivery, though; like most food that sits for a while, it loses some of that freshness after an hour. We haven't dined in yet, but based on the quality so far, we're definitely looking forward to trying it in person soon. This was our second time at The Stand and it was still top notch! From service, cleanliness, to food quality. Our kids got the cheeseburger and when asked if one can come with guac and chips, it wasn't a problem! If you want a refreshing salad then the chimichurri steak salad is your go to! This place opened near my house recently so I thought I'd give it a try. HUGE indoor / outdoor seating options. GREAT service! I had the Tex Mex bowl (grilled steak, corn, guacamole, tortillas strips on your choice of lettuce or rice) and it was AMAZING!! and HUGE! The food was bad, my burger was still raw. They did not ask me how I wanted it cooked. But when my moms burger came out super raw they replaced it within 30 mins. I saw no point in asking for another since I did not want to wait 30mins. We were already standing for over an hour in line, and the tables were on first come first service. We came in just a few days after this place opened, hoping for something great. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming. My husband got the mushroom burger with sweet potato fries, and I tried the veggie burger. Everything was just mediocre. The portion of fries was small, and oddly, you have to request basic toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, and onions--aren't those standard on a burger? When my husband asked, they gave him a tiny portion of condiments on the side. Also, none of the ingredients are organic, which is a dealbreaker for me. This spot didn't earn our loyalty. We'll stick with Urban Plates in Mission Valley and Crafted Greens--both are consistently better in quality and value. read more

Went to the Santee location, which is close to my work, ordered a turkey sandwich, 25 minutes later my lunch was almost over and still no sandwich,, asked multiple times and they look like they had no clue about my order. Finally, I asked for my money back since I had to go back to work. The manager didn't even apologize and gave me my money back and I walked out.
