Our first time visiting and we were blown away! The counter staff was friendly and helpful since we were first timers. We had the bacon cheese burger, the gyro stack burger, onion rings, and the Parmesan garlic fries. The burgers were juicy and flavorful with plenty of bacon. The gyros burger was piled with yummy slices of gyros meat and tzatziki sauce. Grab some napkins cuz this is a messy one! The onion rings were very good and the Parmesan garlic fries seriously delicious! Not just a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and a little bit of garlic on top, it was covered in a delicious sauce! You certainly don't need ketchup for these fries! But if you want sauce, they have homemade ranch dressing and Cali sauce. The interior was definitely casual with plenty of sports on tv. I recently returned to Cali Stack Burgers & Grill and had the "Cali Burger Patty Melt Panini for $8 and some change and an order of onion rings for $4.50 plus tax. The food is well priced here. The panini's beef patty was a little over cooked for my taste, but it was tasty and tender. The Panini patty was not truly a Panini because the bread was not pressed, but it was a good quality bread. It was a tasty burger sandwich. The onions rings were great. They were crispy and tasty and came with whole onions inside. Great onion rings, and I would order them again. The hospitality was very good. The young lady at the counter had a good sense of humor and was helpful. The service was efficient. They offer plenty of parking. Took my son out to have his very first cheesesteak this morning. The place is very clean and looks awesome. Multiple TVs where you can watch The World Cup, and the food was awesome. The owner could not have been nicer to a father and son just splitting a cheesesteak. He gave recommendations for our next visit and my son already asked me when we can go back. Had I known that the chicken sandwich burger were just chicken tenders slapped on between the buns, I would not have ordered it. The fries are always solid here but other than that, my meal was disappointing. There wasn't anything wrong with the chicken tenders either, they were standard - maybe a bit on the thin side. My friends and I golf quite regularly in Lakeside. And we are always looking for a great place to eat afterwards. This place has become our new favorite. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is great... Everyone is very helpful. Inside it's very pleasant and it has lots of TVs for sports, etc. We have really enjoyed the burgers, fries, and the wings are incredibly good. We judge most places by their onion rings. These are some of the best onion rings we've had throughout the entire county. They have a large menu with lots of options. I took a couple of the cheesesteaks home for my sister and husband... And they loved them. They also have shakes, ice cream and a display case filled with these fabulous looking brownies. Can't say how good they are... Because I've been able to hold off up until now. But I'm pretty sure next time some of those brownies are coming home with me. They have beer and wine. And lots of other beverage options. They seem to have quite a number of local beers on tap. The owner said that he's starting a happy hour soon... It will be 20% off of everything from 2 to 6 PM. Got the #1 CaliBurger and a chocolate milkshake. First time walking in it gave me truck stop vibes. The young man at the counter was nice and friendly. When I got home the burger was really fresh and was really good. A bit much sauce but, in all fairness every where puts too much sauce on for me. The bacon was really tasty and the buns were great. The shake was amazing it had chocolate syrup drizzled inside the cup for presentation. It impressed me. We wanted to try Cali stack for dinner, so I went onto the toast app and ordered a curbside pickup order. I ordered the grilled chicken teriyaki sandwich with no lettuce and no onion, my husband ordered the Mac n cheese chicken sandwich and we got an order of chili cheese tater tots to share. We arrived to pick up the order but we could not see a sign for curbside pickup, so my husband got out and went into the restaurant to grab the order. Our food was hot and fresh and nicely packed, although they did not give us any napkins. My grilled chicken teriyaki sandwich was delicious and I would definitely order it again. My husband's Mac n cheese fried chicken sandwich was underwhelming. My husband said that it looked like a frozen chicken patty like you'd get at jack in the box and there was barely any Mac n cheese on the sandwich. My husband said he would not order that sandwich again but he would try something else next time. We both liked the chilli cheese tater tots.
