My kids took a pottery class here, and it was outstanding. Eaton is a small town, and parking was easy. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and make you feel at home. They're well equipped, and while I'm not a master of pottery or anything like that, they had everything I could have imagined, and my kids ended up making two beautiful mugs as gifts for my wife and myself. I highly recommend checking this place out for a class, or just swinging in if you're in Eaton and want to get a bit of culture!

Located just down the road from the golf course and Selma, Bailey's Place has been beautifully landscaped to hold events, wedding ceremonies, etc. I was visiting here for a wedding. It's a gorgeous setup with an arbor, that the bride and groom got married under. There was seating set up in front of the arbor for guest. Behind the arbor was a cabin, that can be used for wedding party to get ready. But also can be used for receptions or having the wedding in. I believe this was the backup if it had rained. There isn't necessarily a parking lot, but a grassy area this is designated for parking. And lots of trees for shading.

The ceremony was outdoors on the lawn and the space is great for that. There's a dance floor area inside and plenty of space for any food or catering. The building has a nice sound system and televisions you can project slide shows or whatever you'd need onto. Victoria is the contact person and she is great, she will go the extra mile in service.

It costs a bit extra for a lake view cabin, but there is a wall of trees between some of the cabins and the lake so there is not necessarily an actual lake view. There was not even a path through the trees and brush that would allow us to walk down to the waters edge from our cabin. We ended up going to the lodge where there actually is a lake view for a while to sit on a bench and walk along the lake edge for a bit. There was a very noticeable musty smell in the cabin. When we noticed the musty smell and the lack of lake view we tried to call the service desk to ask if there was any chance of changing to a different accommodation, but we were put on hold for a long while before we could talk to anyone. Instead of waiting any longer for an answer we decided to just settle for the cabin we had. In the morning when we wanted to get up and take showers before heading out we discovered that our cabin had no hot water. We were able to reach the desk at that point to ask if there was something we needed to switch on to get the how water to work and they did offer to send maintenance down. However we really just wanted to head home at that point instead of waiting longer to see if it could be fixed. It was an overall unsatisfactory stay.

I love the variety of sizes of pumpkins available for you to buy. This year, my one year old LOVED the building filled with dry corn kernels to play in. We all enjoyed visiting the animals. Another favorite part of the farm for us is the treats- getting an apple cider slushie is a must for me. We didn't go on the hay ride this year due to how hot it was, but we definitely want to go next year.
