Honestly, I loved this apartment. I moved my stuff in during Aug. 2023 and stayed until last month…read more(03/2026). I recently moved because I got married and needed more space for my wife and our dog. Aside from that, this place was everything my wife and I needed and more. There are a few people who truly made this apartment feel like home: Guy Kohavi - Great Maintenance Assistant with amazing communication and an awesome attitude. He was always a pleasure to talk to and work with when finding solutions to normal wear and tear issues. Britnee Scott - Assistant Property Manager with a really positive attitude who was easy to work with. She made living there seamless. Lisa Smith - A very kind front desk representative who always did her absolute best to answer any question I had. If she didn't have the answer immediately, she would do whatever she could to get me one as soon as possible. Thank you so much to the Watterscape team for everything you did to turn our apartment into a home. I truly appreciate it.

Hello everyone, I'm gonna make this one short. First off, this business is terrible and the…read moremanagement company that runs this place in conjunction with the managers are just freakin terrible. They treat you like you're an idiot and never communicate with you or the other residents about anything. The big thing for me, as my wife works from home and I'm an online gamer is the internet. It is god awful. On and off all times of the day and it just goes down randomly. Takes like a minimum of 4-6 days to come back online, but they assure us we get "white glove" service. Biggest lie out there. Couple more things: Dog poop is everywhere outside so watch were you step. Also, the apartment reeks of weed. Look, for as much as you will be paying, just go somewhere else.

I have lived here for over 3yrs and am unfortunately stuck in a contract of my last year here as a…read moreresident. Were to start with the reasons not to live here...Resident's prior living here for many years before new management took over were here paying there rent on time were kicked out or were refused a renewal of a new lease. In some cases there rent was raised to ridiculous amounts without any renovations done and were soon forced to move. I was even told by management that they were qoute" cleaning house" of old resident's. Unfortunately as well some new residents are worse and allowed to move in. Constant disturbances over weekend's with neighbor's drinking outside there apartment and loud music from vehicles parked and blaring music. Of course in this complex there are no surveillance cameras and the property owners are barely here. Residents fighting outside or screaming at one another in there apartments. Resident leaving trash in parking lots. Toys from children being left in residence parking spaces. I have even witnessed residents to encourage there children to vandalize other residents property. Parking spaces barely being able to fit vehicles without damages to vehicle or deep scratches. At several points I had to crawl into my passenger side due to individuals careless parking. Theft from vehicles parked in parking lot. I have even had individuals try to break into my apartment while asleep or away at work. I believe in the last month the police have been out to this complex over 5 times for numerous disturbances. Laundry room provided is barely functional and dirty constantly. Animal infestation and roaches are a serious problem as well. Management claims to send people to spray but after months residents still have the same issues. If you call the front office to reach management they either do not answer or immediately dismiss important issues regarding disturbances. I have never had a complaint living here until recently I filed numerous complaints with loud neighbors below. They allowed 5 people to move into a 1 bedroom apartment. The management informed me to not call them but to simply continue to call the police? I would highly NOT recommend living here or trying to attain any means of living here period. There are many better options in princeton than this complex. You will as many residents here instantly regret entering into a contract or renewing one.

I moved to Oxenfree late last year and have decided to break my lease for various reasons. Some are…read moredue to management, others are due to the city of Princeton itself. I recommend taking the time to skim this review, as it will detail both the pros and cons of this complex. I will start by saying that the concept of Oxenfree is amazing! It has been nice living here and seeing the progress with construction. Other reviews state that it is mostly unfinished, but they have made great progress with many homes available, and the amenities center is set to open in May. The homes are spacious, which is perfect for my family, and I love the two-car garages. With that being said, Princeton is just way too far, and it is difficult to get to where you need to be. Because Princeton is an up-and-coming city, there is constant traffic and construction. It can take FOREVER just to get to McKinney or Allen, let alone downtown Dallas. I have seen reviews discuss the very high utility bills. This is a city of Princeton issue, not a complex issue. Our utility bills have doubled month by month. Base rent aside, we ended up paying an additional $800-$1000 due to utility costs. Upon doing some research, I found that this is a city-wide issue. Many homeowners have the same complaints, and they are often discussed at city council meetings. There is no clear resolution for this issue yet, but it is enough for us to leave and find a new place. The homes themselves appear to have been rushed to be built. Many corners were cut, and a lot of areas feel unfinished. I felt that I constantly had to put in maintenance requests, which should not be this way, considering these are newly constructed homes. I can tell the maintenance technicians feel the same way. They are kind, courteous, and prompt by the way! Hannah was the one I toured with. However, she is no longer with the company. She was the sweetest! Vinny and Tori are there daily, and they are both really nice as well! The main issue with upper management, and subsequently Victoria, is that there is a lack of care, organization, and structure. Our move-in was not seamless. We had to ask repeatedly for things like garage door openers, mailbox keys, or information about the wifi. Trash and maintenance items were left in our home upon move-in, and we had to request that they be removed. Typically, upon move-in, the home is newly cleaned, and you may find a care package or welcome package left. This was not the case, and it appeared as if nobody cared. Our "yard" is super tiny and a muddy mess. Not a bit of grass and not cared for. Speaking of the wifi, it is not reliable. This is an issue for someone who works from home. They do not allow you to switch internet providers as they are locked into a contract with wirestar. Wirestar's customer service is HORRIBLE. We had an internet outage that lasted well over a week, and I had to submit multiple service tickets to get it fixed. They STILL would not fix the issue and ignored my calls and emails. The leasing office was able to get in touch with them and eventually have the issue solved. If you are a person who cares about reliable internet, this is not the place for you. I wanted to be able to give at least 3 stars for this review. Still, upon thinking it over, 2 stars is the best I can give, mainly due to the city of Princeton itself, but the wifi issue affected my pay severely, and the utilities bills sent me over the edge. To break our lease, Oxenfree is charging us almost $4,500, which must be paid by the time we move out in 60 days, on top of our rent payments, which are now well over $3000. We asked for a payment plan, which was suggested by one of the leasing agents, and upper management refused, even after we tried to reason with them. Please keep all of this information in mind if you plan on leasing at this property! I would not recommend this complex.

Being a proactive applicant, I sent multiple emails to the leasing office offering to pay an additional deposit or modify lease terms to mitigate any risk. A professional management company would reply with a standard acceptance, counter-offer, or formal denial. Instead, this office completely ghosted me.I followed up multiple times, escalating the issue directly to the Community Manager, Race, and the Regional Manager, Jennifer. Neither one could bother to reply to a single email. The communication skills in this office are nonexistent. They are highly unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely lack basic customer service standards. I have escalated this matter directly to Core Spaces corporate headquarters and Investor Relations. Save yourself the headache and apply somewhere that actually values communication.
