We experienced extreme power outages across Northeast Ohio in the days leading up the the wedding (including our venue & hotel) and when I reached out to him, he remained not only calm, but positive he could throw our party no matter where or how it ended up! Thankfully the power came back on, but I have no doubt that Mike would have made it just as epic if it hadn't. We truly had the greatest night of our lives and more than once, I looked to the people dancing next to me and said "I feel like he is inside my head!" Mike's knowledge of house music, excellent mixing, and song choices made our reception exceptional. There were some crazy good transitions -- I don't think I will ever forget how he mixed "lean on me" into "lean on"! On top of all this, the sound system and lighting were high quality. I listen to Mark on the radio occasionally and so does my family members so that's what really drew us to choose him for my brother's wedding. He customizes the playlist, provides the lights, sounds and equipment. The reason I gave Mark 5 stars is I realized after my own wedding, that my brother's wedding was the bomb. My DJ was not as prepared as Mark was with his equipment. I'm basing this review off my own experience with DJ's. If you share a different opinion, I would be happy to listen to it although I would happily disagree with you as I learned that Mark was more prepared and had great follow through skills as a DJ. Mark entertained the crowd at my brother's wedding. He made sure the kids and adults heard the music they wanted to hear that night. As well as making sure his equipment was in check as well as sound system. If you want to know how great Mark was ask my 12 year old nephew, who asked him if he could mention him on the radio the following day after the wedding. Mark did more than that, he said how lovely the wedding was and gave a shout out to my nephew. If your not convinced from my experience with Mark back in 2012, then go check him out yourself. He knows his stuff and is dam good at it.

The sound quality was perfect throughout the entire day - mics worked seamlessly and every guest could clearly hear both our ceremony and all the speeches. She was incredibly professional, easy to work with, and made sure to play all the songs we requested - which kept the dance floor full all night. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!!! I planned most of my wedding with the help of my fiance's mother, but as the time grew closer, I just knew that chaos would reign unless I had someone else to assist me on that day. I didn't feel it was fair to my family and friends to expect them to coordinate details on the day of my wedding--after all, I want them to be able to relax & enjoy the day! Once I hired Lauren, she got right to work. We completed a wedding timeline together, she contacted my vendors, and she sorted out details that I wouldn't have even thought of. Before the wedding, my fiance didn't fully understand why I needed to hire ANOTHER person to help with stuff (wedding planners/coordinators aren't cheap). Aisle planner was another perk of using StR events. I was able to make my reception & ceremony plan A & plan B layouts for Darcy to see where everything from the vendors would go for setup. Definitely take advantage of this tool, it tracks your to-dos, budgets, vendors, layouts, & rsvps. She gave us 110% and didn't break a sweat when one of our vendors showed up 3 hours late to set up. She is so professional, she has insight from many past brides experiences & makes you feel like your wedding is the only one she is working this year. I'm recommending her to all my single friends.
