The owner said it herself in an Instagram post, "All I wanted was to create a place where you can't help but feel happiness." This shop lives up to that dream! Carol just didn't help me, she was patient and kind and very respectful. She helped me create exactly what I was envisioning even if I didn't know it at the time. In July '23 I told Aspinall's that I would like some changes to a design proposal they had made for us. The project included a patio and some gardens and was in the $35K price range. Yes, $35,000. They said OK they would make the changes. I thought I had accepted their bid with a couple changes and updates and we were moving ahead on the project. I realized we weren't going to get it done in '23. I called about a week later and continued to call but no one ever called me back although they assured me someone would. I knew we weren't in the queue until we had the final cost estimate and design which is why I was calling. On President's Day 2024 I had the day off from work so I went by. I called ahead and said I was hoping to finalize the design, place a deposit and get on the 2024 schedule. The designer said I called him back very quickly after I requested the changes. I wanted to focus on the future so I said: Do you want this project? (Because I was feeling they didn't want the work.) He responded they couldn't get to it until MAYBE October. I said yes to a project in July 23 and can't get it started for sure in 2024. What is worse is that they won't pick up a phone in 7 months to tell me. I am under the assumption we are moving forward and they don't want to do the job but won't tell me so I can make other plans. We did have a tree planted by them last spring and they were able to do it. But forget a landscaping project. They are over-booked and not business-like enough to say so.
