After finding out this studio was the oldest in Sarasota, I knew I'd be in good hands. I wanted a tragus and helix piercing to add to my collection. After discussing the jewelry options (I wanted a simple, tiny rhinestone) we settled on a few and Karen (the owner) began to mark my ear with placements. What I loved about Karen is that she gave her honest and professional opinion on placement of the helix. Where I initially wanted it was not going to be the best option because of the shape and curve of my ear. Being a woman herself, she knew I wouldn't love my initial placement ad recommended a lower helix piercing. I appreciated her honesty. She even asked if my two prior piercings were done by different piercers, which I said yes, and she knew right away they were from different people (because of the placement they did, going off of what I wanted and not taking my ear shape into consideration). I went with her recommended area and I couldn't be happier with results. She runs the show here at EA - a small, woman owned business which resonates with me.
