There's not much to eat in Wrangell if you are dining out but this place is pretty good! I wouldn't say it's the best pasta I've ever had but it was good. Wonderful food! Great vibe! Even better views. Tried several apps and all were fantastic. The Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had.

They have really good pasta!! Took me by surprise! A little pricey, but to be expected. While there I had the Fettuccini Alfredo. It was so bomb! I destroyed it, the garlic bread wasn't as tasty. This is from what I'm told, the best place jn town. It's also the only place open til 8pm. It is quite pricey though, just so you know. The food here is decent, but surprised they didn't have grilled fish, etc.. Tried the battered seafood plate the first night, it was just OK. I ate here both nights that I stayed at the Stikine Inn. Great views and friendly service. I had the house salad, beer battered halibut, and charbroiled penne pasta. The food was great and came out piping out. I suppose the price is as average for a tourist town in Alaska. Portion sizes are large and enough to share. I couldn't finish my meal by myself either night. Overall, a good experience. I would definitely eat here again! read more

Only place in town open past 6:00 with good food, great view, full bar, and friendly staff. We ate here twice; once for fish and chips and the next for scallops and chowder. Weekends are fun as a lot of locals were dining out and listening to the latest gossip is fun. read more

I've only had coffee in the hotel lobby and it is excellent. This is also one of the few places to get some free wifi. Also some very cool and reasonably priced T-shirts are sold in the hotel lobby. I've been there several times at off meal times and the staff on site have always seemed busy and pleasant. Also, if you are in the area of this business, go check out the kids selling garnets at the base of the dock walkway outside if this hotel (water side). There is an island where kids go to collect these raw garnets and the owner of the island only allows kids to harvest the garnets. It is a neat little entrepreneurial enterprise for kids only. The raw garnets are pretty cool, too. read more

Be aware that Yelp puts the restaurant at a the other end of the block. Not a big deal. Had a great view of the bay on the walk. Location is where you get off the cruise ship. It is a seat yourself and every table has a view of the bay. I elected to sit at bar and watch football. They have 4 Alaskan beers on tap. I looked at the menu in the window by the door before I walked in so I knew what I wanted when I sat down. I ordered the three piece fish (local Rock Fish) based on the size of other places I have eaten. These are big filets and I wish I had done the 2 pieces. It came out hot with a crispy batter and were hot through all pieces. Did not eat many fries and was too full for a second beer. Everyone was friendly, bathrooms were clean, I left full and got my money's worth of food. read more

Excellent! Huge portions! Everything I tried was wonderful - especially the Lemon Drop!
