I had come to Luna Sol a while back, on a whim, when I found out that a celebrated author was doing a workshop on healing sacred plants. I fell in love with the store and the vibe and vowed to come back. A few months passed and the opportunity to visit presented itself. I wanted some gnomes for my garden, and I figured this shop may have some magical garden sculptures. Well, I did not find gnomes but I picked up a Green Tara made of volcanic stone, and I am so stoked! This shop has a large selection of outdoor stuff, and lots of indoor statuettes and figurines. But I mean a lot, and very rare, which makes them perfect for a gift. They also have a large selection of very cool stones/crystals, as well as incense, oils, stuff that crosses philosophies and religions into a big ALL that emcopasses everything. What else? Oh! Yes, books, tarot cards, divination decks, etc. And perhaps, the best thing about this store is that it is a family owned store, so they are very friendly and accomodating, and helpful. Story Room Collective itself is wonderful.... Books are carefully curated, not overwhelming, and the owner, Estefania was quite friendly and personable. The stationary items interspersed with the bookish items are all pretty great too!! I greatly enjoyed looking around and browsing.... Found one book I'm excited to read (it's a sequel to another Indie published book I've already read and I was excited to find the sequel!) and some fun bookish items. One star knocked off for the absolutely awful experience I had with one of the Goblin Studios workers outside..... parking was being charged for the evening soccer game and when I said I wasn't paying, wasn't going to the game, and tried to go inside again, he started yelling at me, and stood in front of my car attempting to demand payment when I tried to leave. Another car showed up and he went to charge THEM for the game (they were in Orlando City gear...) I went around him and left. I'll be back when the soccer season is over, maybe, for Story Room and the other businesses, but this really put me off trying to visit again soon.

Reluctantly rating Bowes Candles as "Not good" on the basis that I have not received the item I…read morepaid for, and I have been given no solution but to pay more money in order to receive it. I visited the lovely shop in-person to purchase three scent oils. When I got home to the UK, I discovered that they had given me an incorrect product with the wrong label. I emailed Bowes my $19.17 receipt and asked if I could return the oil for an exchange (as long as shipping and import fees were covered). Bowes offered to send a replacement, or for me to have online store credit. However, Bowes declined to cover the import fees I would be charged for either solution, because they could not determine what they would cost. This was understandable, so I asked for a simple refund to save us all the hassle. Bowes also declined to provide a refund. We went back and forth for over 2 weeks, with 13 emails. I kept trying to suggest workarounds that they might be happy with and wouldn't mean I had to spend more money, but these were not acknowledged. Bowes' tone was friendly, but it soon felt robotic, and they showed zero expression of understanding towards the fact that they were giving me no option but to pay towards the process of fixing their mistake. It is my understanding that, according to business standards, when a business does not fulfil their end of the sale, the resolution for their failure should not leave the customer financially disadvantaged. In the end, I politely told them that I would withdraw and leave a review, but I wanted to give them one last chance. I said "are you able to offer a solution to Bowes' mistake that will not leave me financially disadvantaged (i.e. spending money on the import fee)? As mentioned, I would be glad to engage to figure out something that works for us both." It has now been a week, and I have received no response. All this could have been resolved for both parties if Bowes had just sent a refund, but they did not even acknowledge the predicament they had put me in, and now I am $19.17 short. I would be willing to remove this review if Bowes gets back in touch to resolve the issue accordingly.

I said The Grand Floridian so she brings us to a candle section that has the same scent as the hotel. Under Disney guidelines, they can't call the candle The Grand Floridian Candle but she gives us a nudge saying this is the same scent. I bought three items, one for my son who loves The Boardwalk Hotel. I have my purchase, The Grand Floridian Car Scent. I'm on the plane doin' a happy dance: My car is gonna smell like Disney. Woo hoo! Yeah.. For a day. The scent was so weak! When I came back to Disney during Christmas, I went back to the store and said there's no scent in these items. The counter woman apologized and gave us a small bottle to add more scent. I went home, I added a bunch of liquid to this thing. I'm still not getting anything that smells like a Disney hotel.

DANGER WARNING I attended a candle making experience in…read moreFebruary for Valentine's with my two daughters and niece. The place was clean & had a large variety of options. Cecilia the owner was pleasant , she supervised our group during the process of picking out the items and while we created the candle. At the end of our visit we paid and were on our way. I used the candle for the first time a couple of months ago and a second time on June 7th. Both times the candle was used in the manner it was intended to be used. I didn't alter the candle, I didn't allow it to burn for longer than an hour, and it was not left near anything that could catch fire. The candle was lit sitting on my bedroom dresser I stepped away to use the bathroom attached to my bedroom and heard an explosion when I ran out my dresser was on fire. I quickly poured water over the fire. The jar I purchased from the establishment combusted that was the loud sound I heard. Thankfully I walked away when I did because where I had been sitting I found pieces of the shard glass! Once the excitement had passed I contacted Cecilia and explained what happened. She stated it wasn't her problem and I explained this was a matter of product liability as she sold me the item and the materials used to create the candle. I explained that she could contact her insurance company because I would like my dresser repaired or replaced. She stated again it wasn't her problem and that I signed a waiver. The waiver doesn't remove her from liability of the item combusting while being used properly. When the candle was lit the second time it was 3/4 full of wax. She became argumentative I told her I didn't want to argue and she could take 24 hours and get back to me. She got back to me a little after the 24 hours with a copy of the waiver I signed , I replied thank you and if that was her final decision she didn't respond. Her behavior has been unprofessional, rude and fails to take accountability for the product she sold me and helped me create. No business owner should feel it isn't their responsibility after such damage was caused. Thankfully I wasn't injured. I really didn't want to make this post as all of the reviews I post are always positive because I know people need to make a living ... if she doesn't make things right I will pursue legal actions through the courts for restitution for my damages.
