I truly wanted to love this place as I have seen many people do, but I left feeling a little…read moredisappointed in the experience. The owners seem like wonderful and kindhearted people. They clearly value faith, connection, and relationships-- which I absolutely love! They even have an entire lobby and breakfast area with Christian books, movies, and snacks. There were a few things that made our trip a little less comfortable. First, we tried to contact the owners multiple times and never received a response back. They have signs posted saying that guests should feel welcome to reach out via text anytime, but every time we did... we heard nothing. The thing that I am having difficulty getting past was a stain on the comforter of the bed... there was a clear blood stain on the quilt, which made us feel uneasy. We texted the owner asking where we could find extra blankets, since we didn't want to use the comforter, and didn't receive a response back... This made me question the cleanliness of where we were staying. To be fair though, everything else seemed clean! I write this to be constructive and truthful. I'm not sure that we would stay here again, but I can tell many people value and cherish La Ville inn, including the sweet couple we met in the lobby during our stay.

We were so pleasantly surprised to find the La Ville is a quiet, luxurious, 5-star stay! We enjoyed sipping coffee and tea with our bagels in the morning, and the bathroom is huge. Probably more like a $300/night room!!!

The stay was pay at property so there was no pre charge or cancellation cost . However the Hotel went ahead and charged my card as a "no show" for the full price of the room . When I contacted the property the following Monday was told the owner is in New York and to try back Tuesday. I contacted them again Wednesday and was told the owner had still not been in. Was told by front desk employee "Joe" that "if they owe me money rest assured I will damn well get it " . We are now 11 days of calling every other day and still have not received a phone call by owner or manager with leaving my name and number each time I call. Again I will reiterate unprofessional , horrible customer service ! Choose the holiday inn next door it's cleaner and has a friendly staff willing to take care of their customers

The entire hotel - carpets, wall, trim - is dirty, run down and smells like cigarettes & cheap disinfectant. Some guy a couple doors down was hollering & screeching. We left immediately. My sister thinks it's used as a flop house. Could be, it's creepy AF. Hard pass. Go to the Hampton Inn around the corner, clean & safe.

We were so surprised, not because we expected it to be bad, but just because it was better than expected and we were practically the only ones there (to be fair, we were there in the middle of the week rather than a busy weekend). So definitely a hidden gem. There's a much more popular hotel in town, but I'm so glad we chose this one instead. It's not technically a hotel I guess, but it works like one... and has more interesting things than a typical hotel. It really is set up to be like a retreat and conference center, so the name isn't just for show - you can tell that they've really thought about how to make spaces that work for those types of events/ situations. For example, there are plenty of different meeting and conference rooms, and they have a FULL gym, not just a treadmill and some weights like many other places. See the pics for what I mean! They also have a cool lounge area, complete with an open fireplace in the center of the room. Both my mom and I thought how cool it would be to be sitting around there in the fall. They also have a pool and hot tub, like many other hotels. There's a sauna in the locker rooms, which I thought was pretty cool, and it looked nice but we didn't decide to go in. Speaking of the locker rooms: they're also very nice! Definitely well-kept. The views from the hotel rooms are also STUNNING (and I do believe all the rooms are on the same side of the building, so all have the same view). The pictures unfortunately don't do this part justice. Because it's truly out in the middle of nowhere (only about 15mins from the main part of town though), there's just pretty land for as far as you can see. The rooms are pretty standard: two queen beds, a fridge, keurig with a few options, bathroom with shower, and closet. No microwave in the rooms, but there was one downstairs where they had the ice and coffee. I appreciated that they had more than one type of flavored creamer (powdered). I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I got some because they had amaretto flavor, and it was good!!! At first because the drive there was so quiet and empty, we were a little unsure about what we'd gotten into, but as you can see it ended up being a great place to stay! I almost wish we were there longer. Would definitely go there again!
