This was the return location for a recent UHaul reservation. Reserved and prepaid for a rental - 24…read morehours, 89 miles, one way rental from a small town in TN to Huntsville AL. The issuing vendor botched many things - the equipment was missing a tire and they entered the wrong drop off location and lowered the mileage to 35. The SAFE MINI STORAGE location on Plummer Road in Huntsville consummated the errors and negative experience by not "receiving the rental truck". They made some calls but in the end threw up their hands and blamed "the system" and charged me more for a mileage overage. They admitted it was wrong. I pre-paid for 89 miles. The issuing vendor put in 35 miles. I was there for nearly an hour trying to get the truck rental "received" and resolve the erroneous mileage charge. In the end I left with a customer service number, more charges on my credit card, and a very negative opinion.

The facilities are very nice. It's conveniently located off Research Park Blvd and Old Monrovia. You can enter through either side. You can reserve your U-Haul online or using the mobile app. I expected this to expedite the rental process however it did not. They only had one associate working inside and there was a line. They still took all the same info I put in online which was a complete was of time. The entire pick up and even drop off process was not very efficient with no clear direction. Probably one of the better locations in Huntsville.
