Then get a notification from Uhaul that the truck is no longer available. Why did the lady show me the keys that were assigned to me as well as the truck when I stop by to confirm everything? I'm now going to be late getting moved and I am absolutely disappointed. The service at this location is not good, do not trust these employees.

I've always paid rent on time and 6 months in advance to get the 7 month's rent free. Although my next payment was not due until Oct. 1, today I got a delinquent notice in the mail because the management had changed the terms in Paragraph 6 , Special Provisions, of the "Self Service Storage Rental Agreement" without notifying me in writing. When I expressed my concern, the management told me that businesses changed policies all the time without notification. Management was argumentative and unreasonable but later agreed to wave the late fee. Also without notification, I was informed that The Storage Company no longer honors Paragraph 38 of the Rental Agreement which entitles tenants refunds of prepaid rents. The management would not give out the owner's phone number; however, it was said that one of the owners, Lindsey Adame, would be given my phone number and she would return my call. I then researched the owners of the company and located the phone number, and when I called, the owner wasn't available. I left a detailed message. I now wait for their reply.

Instead of clicking on the link, I called the Postal Annex. They pulled up my record and confirmed the zipcode on my package sent was correct and to delete the message, as it was not from them. They also said the zipcode would have been flagged originally if there was a problem. I like the woman that helped me at the Postal Annex. She was professional and efficient.

The appointment was made for 10am but the morning of the drivers called and asked for an earlier time of around 8. This was not possible but I told them I could be there earlier and we agreed to 0945 meet at the PODs facility. At 1000 the driver called and said he would be 18 minutes late. The driver called again at 1020 and said he couldn't find the place. I then called in the main like to talk to the manager. The manager said the truck was having trouble with the address of the PODs facility. I told him the address again and the manager started accusing me of supplying a completely different address. I told him no, I of course gave him the correct address. He then started yelling at me stating I did not give him the correct address. We argued back in forth, him shouting no I gave the wrong address, and me calmly stating yes I did. He held his ground but why would I give a wrong address? I need my stuff moved. He then said his truck was across the ferry in Aransas Pass. There is not a PODs facility in Aransas Pass and the address' given were in Corpus Cristi and Rockport. He said the truck spent too much time driving around already and we should just cancel your move. Complete unprofessionalism, and lack of competence, and to actually yell at a customer accusing them of lying, repeatedly. I had to deal with substantial predicaments due to not having my things moved. 0/10

Regarding my missing belongings my husband went and spoke with cube smart front desk and they said if it happened a month back they don't have any footage because it was The storage place footage a month prior . Weird how The storage place has not responded.... I understand The storage place isn't liable for anything but not even having the camera footage is outrageous. We had an unexpected and urgent need for an immediate storage space arising from the unexpected failure of the seller to sign off for our new home. Anticipating a "normal" house closing and taking possession of our new home, we drove from San Antonio arrived in Corpus with both SUVs loaded with personal items. Working with our realtor Stephanie Hastings and with her advice we called The Storage Company@ Holly. We called and had told Samantha about our dilemma. Despite the panic in my voice, she remained cordial, expressed a true understanding of our dilemma and worked with me to find an appropriate size storage unit. In addition, she set up a short-term month to month rental, and called the Holly facility to coordinate with Amanda at the front desk our arrival and check in to the unit. Amanda arrived, took us to our unit, and with us never anticipating we would be renting a storage unit rental had locks available. When I returned the next day I met Lindsey and Lilly. Lindsey told me she had spoken with the team and was aware of our situation and was glad they could help. Lilly similarly expressed appreciation for our business. All be it a short rental I cannot emphasizes the person touch, the genuine interest in helping, and the follow thorough in providing a service (not to mention the clean and secure units) that is uncompromised in the storage business.
