There is a small posing room but it is basically just a closet with mirrors. The cardio options were pretty limited too. Not a bad gym but definitely not my favorite Los spot. It just felt a little claustrophobic and there are better options in the city for the same price.

But you would be completely wrong to judge by that! Everyone here is very respectful and even helpful. The staff are very genuine. They have proteins and snacks you can purchase as well as gear. Parking at all locations is very limited but you can find street parking at all that don't make you pay a dime. This is truly a gym for those looking purely to get in shape and lift heavy.

The staff was super friendly and helpful and I was able to work out a few days this week. The gym itself is ultra-clean, which has always been a priority for me but even more so in the age of covid. From a size perspective, North Loop Fitness is perfect for me: bigger than a typical trainer-only or crossfit gym, but smaller than a big box gym. The equipment is modern and well maintained and they have a strip down the middle of the gym for sleds (!). I wish, wish I could find an exact replica of this gym in Omaha.

The personal training is top notch and though I have yet to take a class, I am told their offerings (boot camps, kettle balls, yoga, etc.) are great. I ended my membership in March 2022 and received a call from a debt collector stating I owed over…read more$300. I had no choice but to pay and negotiated down to under $150. then in November 2024 received another call from a different debt collector stating I owed over $600 (I have not been a member in between these dates). I placed a call to the first debt collector to get proof that the account had been paid and closed, and they let me know that this has happened to hundreds of former members. When Anytime Fitness received checks from the first debt collector, they never attributed them to the accounts they came from, so when the second debt collector bought the debts, they bought the ones that should have been closed but haven't. I just submitted proof that this should have been closed and the second debt collector told me it will take between 25-30 days to process. Anytime Fitness is a horrendous company that is essentially stealing money from former members.

Immediately was hooked. I ended up getting the 4 classes per month membership and it's plenty to keep me engaged without burning out. Literally, because these classes are insanely hard. Overall facilities are nice, I wish there were showers or even more than just 2 bathrooms because I'd prefer to take a class before heading into the office but do need to get ready. It also gets a little cramped in there sometimes. I get that classes fill up so having the extra machine or two can make a difference, but there are times I feel like I might be holding hands with my neighbor.

Barre-less: When I first started taking Barre-less I would be sore for a week. This class is a really good toning and core class. It works those thighs and glutimimux maximus. Vinyasa Yoga- I like that this class is on Fridays.(schedule may subject the change) It's a nice way to end the week. Kettle bells- Oh my, this class is no joke! It is a great workout but don't forget your water bottle like I did once and almost got light headed. I would also suggest bringing your own weight gloves to pick up the kettle bells.

It's a convenient facility for me. It doesn't have a track or a pool or a sauna, but it has enough machines and free classes. The two girls who run it are super nice too. They have a way of letting you know you're doing something wrong in the classes without embarrassing you. They announce to "keep your back straight" to the entire class and I usually figure it out that they're talking to me. The machines are pretty new and are nice. The TVs usually have ESPN, some soap opera and CNN on only. I usually skip getting the headset and just listen to my iPod. The clientele is mostly lawyers and damn, do they like to gossip in the magnificent locker rooms. The locker rooms are nothing like the ones you had in high school either. Carpeted (nicely), secure and private showers. Forget a cotton ball? They supply that stuff. And hair dryers for those who need them.
