The energy at this location felt pretty low when I visited. The layout is interesting with a bunch…read moreof separate rooms, almost like a maze of lifting spaces, but once you head downstairs it feels more cramped than creative. The turf area especially felt tight and there was a noticeable smell that made the atmosphere less enjoyable. The equipment quality was decent and the staff were about the same as other Los locations, friendly and easygoing. It seems to attract a mix of casual and serious lifters, which is nice. There is a small posing room but it is basically just a closet with mirrors. The cardio options were pretty limited too. Not a bad gym but definitely not my favorite Los spot. It just felt a little claustrophobic and there are better options in the city for the same price.

I had a great experience dropping into Los Campeones. This gym is HUGE (they have a whole lower…read morelevel that seems even bigger than the main floor), and if you are into "old school" style lifting gyms, you are going to love it here. They have a TON of power and olympic lifting equipment, including squat racks, lifting platforms, many different bars, and bumper plates. They also have a bunch of accessory machines and equipment, although I did not see a GHD. They have fairly good sized bathrooms, and lots of supplements incase you forget yours. Drop-ins are about $20, and parking is pretty easy.

I love the new and improved gym !…read more I try to take advantage of their classes any chance I get over the lunch hour since they don't have am or late pm classes. Barre-less: When I first started taking Barre-less I would be sore for a week. This class is a really good toning and core class. It works those thighs and glutimimux maximus. Vinyasa Yoga- I like that this class is on Fridays.(schedule may subject the change) It's a nice way to end the week. Kettle bells- Oh my, this class is no joke! It is a great workout but don't forget your water bottle like I did once and almost got light headed. I would also suggest bringing your own weight gloves to pick up the kettle bells.

I try to get my butt down from the 35th floor of the taller tower of the Fifth Street Towers to the…read morefitness center three times a week--usually with success. It's a convenient facility for me. It doesn't have a track or a pool or a sauna, but it has enough machines and free classes. The two girls who run it are super nice too. They have a way of letting you know you're doing something wrong in the classes without embarrassing you. They announce to "keep your back straight" to the entire class and I usually figure it out that they're talking to me. The machines are pretty new and are nice. The TVs usually have ESPN, some soap opera and CNN on only. I usually skip getting the headset and just listen to my iPod. The clientele is mostly lawyers and damn, do they like to gossip in the magnificent locker rooms. The locker rooms are nothing like the ones you had in high school either. Carpeted (nicely), secure and private showers. Forget a cotton ball? They supply that stuff. And hair dryers for those who need them.

I have been training with Lenora for a couple of months now and feel like the luckiest person in…read morethe world to have found her. I did a ton of research when l started looking for a personal trainer and interviewed several trainers in person. While they were all great in their own right, Lenora stood out among the rest. She has a solid education backing her training up and truly approaches it in a holistic way, which was exactly what I was looking for. So far she has helped me greatly! We are working through some postural issues I have and she is really great during every session making sure we are doing the right exercises to help strengthen and balance my body and changing something if it isn't working. Lenora really knows her stuff. She also helps me out nutritionally and is very educated in this as well. She makes workouts fun, but also kicks your a$$. She is very good at helping you learn to push yourself and cheering you on the whole way. She finds out what really motivates you and utilizes that in your sessions. She's firm, yet gentle and nurturing at the same time. Basically, she is amazing. She is changing my body, mind and spirit....my whole life! I will be continuing to work with her for a while. She is also guiding me through training for a 1/2 marathon. I have never been a runner, but with her help, I am becoming one...at age 34! I have also lost weight, toned up, gained confidence, etc. I HIGHLY recommend Lenora of Holistic Personal Training. You will not be sorry!

She has helped me achieve those goals and MUCH MORE. She used her training as a therapist to guide me through a time when I was in a toxic unsafe work environment and trying to keep depression at bay. She used her body understanding to help me get my body structurally aligned. She used her training in nutrition to assess my specific needs and advise me. I could text her a nutrition question and know her answers were based on the latest research! On top of all her technical skills, she is one of the kindest, high integrity people I know. Anyone would benefit from working with and knowing Lenora. Although she has moved across the country, I still have a weekly check in with Lenora that helps me to keep on track. Her advice is always spot on!
