My skin is addicted to Amanda's facials. I try to visit her at least once every six weeks for a facial to 'refresh' my skin and she is great on recommending products that suit my face. I still get breakouts regularly to the point of still using Proactivy until Amanda recommended another option. She carries the Imagine Skin Care product line and recommended the Clear Cell Facial Cleaner. Since I have been using it, I rarely get breakouts at all anymore. Again, I don't tend to spend money on facial products, but I love the Total Repair Cream too. Going to Amanda regularly and using Imagine has my skin looking better than ever. The Salon is not big but that's what I like about it. It is very professional and classy and since it is small, very personalized. Unlike other salons I have been to where the registration and waiting area is decorated very high-end, but once you get into the room, it is very basic, the equipment looks worn, as does the esthetician, this salon is very clean, nicely decorated, and Amanda always delivers first class skin work. Oh...and she also does Airbrush tanning. I was going on vacation and didn't want to go to a tanning salon but I also didn't want to blind other vacationers with my white legs so I booked an appointment with Amanda to get a spray tan. It looked fantastic and by the time I left to go on vacation, I looked like I just got back. Be sure to follow Amanda's instructions for maintenance, especially if you are going to be in the Ocean. Salt water will fade it quickly - fortunately, by the time I was getting in the ocean, I had a base tan so all was good. Even living in Plano, going to see Amanda in Wylie is definitely worth the drive. I even bought my monther-in-law a gift certificate to see Amanda and she is now recommending Amanda to all her friends.

It was a very relaxing ambiance and they were quick to sit me down for service. Mind you there was nobody else but me at the time which I kind of liked. The manager/owner offered me some water but besides that there was minimal communication. Which when I'm doing something meant to relax (massage, facial even waxing) I prefer the peace & quiet. The owner talked a little about what other services they provided (extensive list) and told me they've been operating for over 10 years now. They were nice enough to give me a second pair of foam slippers since I was going out to eat afterwards, just incase they ripped. I tipped them $30 total which was more than the $27 I paid for the Gel Mani & regular pedicure Groupon lol I did ask what the regular price for it would be and they said $67. I was in & out within an hour. The ONLY thing I did not like was I asked for red nails which they came out red, but they picked it out. Meanwhile, the pedicure felt rushed and sloppy. The tech was using a battery-operated tool that kept dying, barely filed my feet, and even left some of the old gel polish on before painting over it. She kept saying with an attitude " I dont care that you have a business" and she then stated I was trying to tell her how to run her business. She kept saying that over and over and It was honestly like she was jealous that I said that I have an Airbnb. It was very weird ! I'm not sure what I should have understood from this?? That you're sitting home instead of being at your shop during business hours?? She basically wants you to let her know you're on your way so that you will have to wait on her instead of her waiting on you which is totally unprofessional and wrong. She took no accountability at all, didn't apologize was extremely argumentative and she claims she got there at 2:40 but I know she's lying! She took a picture of her in truck parked in front of her shop and it was after 3pm. This woman texted me back and forth arguing for over 30 minutes. She then tried to tell me my appointment was for 2:30 though her confirmation text clearly states 2:20. She was very late and did not apologize not one time she just kept going on and on about how I mentioned that I have a business and an Airbnb and that I was trying to tell her how to run her business. It's truly sad to be treated so bad and to be blamed for the horrible treatment like I did it to myself. Absolutely no accountability was taken. As you can see from the screenshots at 3:06 she was still driving and didn't arrive until 3:13 pm almost an hour after my appointment time. She basically just lied the whole time. This young woman is amazing! I first met Victoria when I accompanied my adult daughter to get her…read moreeyebrows tattooed. I was impressed throughout the process. The location is easy to find with plenty of parking. The building and her suite are both immaculately clean and professional. Victoria does wonderful work and is even a trainer for new estheticians. She is also a nurse, which allows her more freedom with numbing agents (a real plus in my book) and lends her practice an air of quality not found in other establishments. When I mentioned to Victoria that I haven't had eyebrows in almost a year because they just haven't grown back after chemo, she offered to tattoo eyebrows for me for free. Once she completed her work, which included precise measurements, feeling the bones of my brows (because I have no hair to go by), and choosing the best colors for my face and head hair, she went to work creating remarkable brows for me. The sharp lines combined with the subtle shading make the tattoos look like real eyebrows. I am utterly astonished and thrilled to have eyebrows again. The lack of eyebrows along with the caps to cover my nearly bald head just screamed "cancer patient." Now, I have eyebrows to go along with the head hair slowly growing back in. I can't tell you what that means to me. If you are wary of eyebrow tattooing because of the horror stories out there, please go to Victoria. You won't regret it.
