BOOKING CLASSES -- Use their website. I had a ClassPass membership back then so I used my ClassPass credits to book the Reformer class. As of the writing of this review, in July 2026, BeFitness is no longer on ClassPass so guests will need to buy a single class package or a membership directly from BeFitness. A friend told me that they got rid of their Class Pass contract a while ago now. (Side-note: ClassPass is an app that allows members to book classes at different fitness studios and have the option to also access gyms and spas across various cities). REFORMER CLASS -- Anyone that has done a Reformer class knows that it is challenging, especially at 5am. The instructor was good because she provided understandable cues of what to do for each move/exercise. The instructor was enthusiastic as well. Having now taken other Reformer Pilates classes at a different Pilates studio in Avon and Bay Village, I definitely do not think the Reformer Pilates class at Be Fitness was as hard as the others that I've taken elsewhere. Nonetheless, I still recommend BeFitness if you live in the area and are looking for a beginner and intermediate friendly class. The Reformer Pilates class that I took at a different studio was a more advanced class. TIP (Reformer Pilates) -- The good thing about Reformer Pilates is that you can always adjust the resistance straps to increase or decrease the amount of resistance (weight) that you are pulling. SERVICE -- I remember the check-in process being smooth when I entered and the front desk woman greeted me (she was also the instructor). Overall, I enjoyed the Reformer Pilates class. Similar to many fitness studios, they sometimes have deals/sales so join their email list or visit them on social media to stay informed with current discounts. But they hired one of the best Aerialist in the city and I wanted to resume my practice. In addition to restarting aerial myself, I decided to get my niece involved. The studio made it very confusing and did not communicate to me how to register my niece. This resulted in me receiving an email that my registration was canceled, and we missed class. To this day, I have not received any follow up communication from the studio and the instructor was let go. All of this leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I was going to wait until I ran out of class passes to post my review, but this has been on my mind for days. My niece was making great progress and looked forward to attending. Sadly, we will not be members anymore.

I've taken barre classes before in the past but it has been a while since I took one so I couldn't wait to lift and tone my body. CLASS -- The instructor was awesome. I can't remember her name but I think it was Becky. She started off class with a quick 5-min warmup, a 45 min class, and then a 10-min cool down. The class consisted of small movements which are effective to strengthen the core and lengthen the body. We did pushups, held planks, used weights, and then used the bar (a wood rod thing) to do leg lifts and a type of squat exercise that ballerina's do. You don't have to be a fitness pro or super fit to attend the class. I normally prefer high-intensity classes that incorporate weights and cardio but barre was a nice change. It is a good option for cross-training. The class is meant for all levels so for example, if you don't want to pick up weights then you don't have to use it. SERVICE -- I felt welcomed at this studio and the front desk staff member was friendly. Since my friend and I were new, after class, the front desk person explained the membership options to us. It is about $69 a month for 4 classes which is not within my budget right now. One class is $25. I recommend Pure Barre Rocky River studio or any of their locations. This is an exercise class that you can manage and isn't too strenuous. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly face and was explained how everything would happen in the class! I was nervous to come alone but even the people taking the class welcomed me and made sure I was comfortable. Emmanuelle walked me through everything and was attentive, couldn't have asked for a better instructor. They are apart of the class pass through Cleveland so I can't wait to come back. The aesthetics are stunning--everything is so thoughtfully designed, making it an inviting and motivating place to work out. My favorite instructor is Mackenzie Burdick--she's incredible! Her classes are a perfect mix of fun and challenging. She's funny, energetic, and super nice, and I always leave feeling like I got a killer workout. That being said, you can't go wrong with any of the teachers here. They all bring their A-game and consistently deliver amazing workouts. The instructor was very friendly and walked me through the machine for my first time. She instructed me during the class to have proper form and safe movements. I really appreciated her knowledge and kindness during my first class bc I had to takes breaks on some of the movements that really kicked my butt haha. Today was a full body day and it definitely worked every part of my body. Slow and controlled with intermittent bursts of quicker movements to really work those muscles. Pilates is just so different from any other type of workout and if that is what you are looking for than this is for you. I would love to get a membership or class pack but the cost is so expensive. I also had to pay $15 for a pair of grip socks, which were super cute so I wasn't mad about it. But still, first class should be free socks ;) this Pilates studio is located in Ohio city, street parking. Definitely worth checking out!! So fun and great atmosphere.
