I believe this place is family-run, and it shows in how thoughtfully it's maintained. It felt inclusive and welcoming. Appointments are highly recommended, and this is not a space for children. I noticed they allow calm, well-behaved pets on leash or harness for private parties, which I appreciated. I first visited at 7 AM when they were closed just to admire the exterior, then came back around 12:30 PM to take it all in with better light. I found a vintage dress that was a perfect fit for our daughter, and she immediately fell in love with it. It needed to be cleaned and there were a couple spots that needed minor repairs, but it was overall in good condition. The owner was very friendly as we checked out. I mentioned the skirt from our last visit, and she said that they are custom made by her employee -- love that! She showed us another one, but it wasn't quite the same. As I checked out I got 2 things, two Donald Duck stuff one ornament and cake topper little figure, when I got to the counter the prices were a little much the Donald you see in my 2nd and 4th was $32 and I did not notice the little chip in his finger and the employees never noticed it till I did when I got home. I called the store up and the same girl who I checked out with came to the phone and told me I can talk to the manager about it the next day I hope that someone knows to check and wrap things separately if broken or fragile. Still if you're ever in the Solvang area check this little store out. The employees should check with the customer if it's broken, chipped, scratched or anything. That's why I had to call about 2 hours after I left the store to realize that. Hope they can give a little discount on that stuff.

Everything is handmade like the catnip sliver vine kickers I get my fur baby she loves playing with these and I like them better than the regular catnip. They also have a wide selection for dogs from toys to treats same for cats. The collars & clothes are great quality as well plus the prices are very reasonable and affordable. The lovely owner is very sweet and funny thanks to her she's made solvang feel more at home for me and my family it's always a pleasure talking to her and catching up I look forward to coming to this store every visit. I especially loved the apparel -- the sweaters and jackets were so cute! I was sad that we didn't bring our Frenchies on this trip. Their larger neck and chest make sizing a bit difficult. The husband had to stop me from buying anything since coming back for an exchange would have been tough. We'll be back with Maggie and Percy!
