She's with us on this trip and super excited to thrift with me. The shop is small but carries a nice selection of curated items. I found a vintage dress that was a perfect fit for our daughter, and she immediately fell in love with it. It needed to be cleaned and there were a couple spots that needed minor repairs, but it was overall in good condition. The owner was very friendly as we checked out. I mentioned the skirt from our last visit, and she said that they are custom made by her employee -- love that! She showed us another one, but it wasn't quite the same. One was talking up a special on their bamboo sheet sets, describing all the great qualities of the fabric. I personally prefer printed sheets, so their solids didn't appeal to me for that reason. They are very soft, which is appealing. I understand that they wear very well, wick moisture, and have other features. Their sleepwear felt really dreamy, pardon the pun. I wasn't in the mood to spend that much / full retail. I did go for a cute t-shirt that will be great for the summer. I don't think I own anything else in bamboo fabric, so am looking forward to seeing how it handles normal wear and tear, plus washing. The shop is bright and colorful, with lots of tropical flair. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience shopping there. If you do a lot of Internet shopping, or discount buying (TJ Maxx, Burlington, etc.), it's a nice little touch to have the salesperson place your purchase in a bag, finish it with a flourish of tissue paper, and hand it to you with a big thank you and a smile. The two discount were rougher and thinner to the touch. where the Cariloha was thick, plush, and smooth ... I certainly wouldn't mind being wrapped up in one of these towels after a shower. The clothing I can only describe as casual, comfortable and beachy (I know that's not a real word). I saw a skirt that could easily be easily paired wedge sandals and cotton tank top. The prices weren't as bad as I expected, they are average to many department stores. For anyone who loves luxury and wants to help the environment, stop by today. I was just looking at their stuff but, saw their items on clearance. Got these red and black plaid , fleece lined slipped and the reusable Yeti from the Rudolph movie shopping. The gal working that evening was vacuuming and preparing to close up. She was still friendly and courteous while doing so. She forgot to discount the Christmas clearance bag (didn't notice til later) but, that's okay as the regular price was still inexpensive. My going to 3 rd grade in August grandson is the most fun yet hardest to shop for. Never having a son I end up getting him quirky unique gifts. He usually gets a kick out of them. At this particular shop as soon as you enter on your left there is a display of cow pies. Also known as large circular disks of cow dung. I remember when I was a child we stayed at beach house but had to walk through a pasture to get there. I was so grossed out when my parents said watch out for the cow pies in our path. I picked it up with a bit of caution and with a sigh of relief found out that the item in the store was a frisbee. Bud will love it. Cowboy hats, merchandise for a rancher, clothes, red, white and blue items for sale in time to celebrate the 4 th of July.
