Although, I wish this place was Black-owned, the employees working here (two amazing Black women) helped me feel comfortable and at ease. The young lady assisting on the sales floor was amazing! I didn't catch her name, but she definitely had the expertise that I needed. I went in for hair fit goddess locs And had no idea where to start. She walked me through everything, made recommendations, and even recommended a few things that I needed and hadn't even thought about. Between her and the girl at the front, I definitely felt very well taken care of. I would highly recommend solely because of these two individuals. I was worried about losing too much length but she assured me it wouldn't lose much and at the same time be healthy again. She was right and it turned out great. I also usually don't like my hair being blow dry because it's too puffy but she did it really well I actually loved it. COVID-19 - yes I had a salon appointment during the pandemic. I needed a cut (hadn't cut in two years) and also wanted to support a business during these times. The salon took great precautions. There was only two other people inside besides me and the hair stylist. They had hand sanitizer at the front desk and they also sell masks. But you need to be wearing a mask to enter. The stylist was the only staff member there which is super safe and she was wearing a mask too.
