I booked a Brazilian wax online on 3/24/25. On 4/7/25, I decided I wanted to have them do full legs as well. I went back to the website and was able to text someone associated with the number listed to add an additional service. They confirmed they had room and space in the schedule and I was all set to go for a Brazilian and full legs. It was difficult to find the building (as they are not allowed to do any advertising or signs near the building). So after some snooping around, I went in, the gal confirmed my name, told me to strip, and we'd get started. Super informal. She never introduced herself by name but told me she was the manager. She asked how I found her, I told her Yelp, she said she doesn't even have a Yelp. That was my first red flag. I told her she had great reviews and she was close by, which is why I came to see her. She made a comment that she was shocked to hear she had good reviews. (Another red flag in hindsight.) Waxing was going fine, and she mentioned we're almost all done. I confirmed that we were doing my full legs as well. She said "Nope, I'm booked for the rest of the day." I told her, I had added this service weeks ago. She once again told me I was wrong, I never reached out to her, and I must have messaged another salon. I asked her how would another place be able to confirm my appointment with her and say they added on another service. She said she didn't know, but she never heard from me to adjust my appointment. Meanwhile, I'm still naked and frog-legged as she's telling me I'm wrong and arguing with me that the booking error was my fault. She also offhanded fat-shamed her teenage daughter, and mentioned something about how "the blacks" tried hitting on her daughter as well. The most mortifying part was when I rolled on to my side so we could do my butt and she remarked I have a big butt and it was like a soccer mom butt. This made me feel super self conscious. (She also missed many hairs I later found out.) After we were done and I was checking out, she confirmed that she did see my updated appointment requests, and she blamed someone named Tori (and said she had really bad ADHD and messes things up like this.) I never got a real, earnest apology from her. Not sure if I caught her on an off day as she has so many great reviews, but this was a terrible experience and I will not be coming back. read more

There is no other person that I vibe with more than with & and her professionalism is AMAZING. she cares for her work and it really shows. I have been getting sugared here for roughly 2 years. I have tried many other studios, yet nothing compares to the service Brenda offers. The minute you walk in, she is personable without making you feel vulnerable. Her professionalism is amazing, respecting the "intimacy" that goes into a service such as this by offering a clean, sterile environment, a private room to get ready, and a drape to cover if you wish. She keeps the conversation light and makes sure that you are happy with the hair removal before you get off the table by offering a mirror if you wish to make sure no hairs are missed. If I have to change my appointment, am running late or need to add a service, she makes sure to do what she can with in her scheduling ability to accommodate me. Anytime she is running behind, even by 3 minutes- I get notified so I don't have to wait. I have NEVER had a business care about my time like this. Brenda is consistently professional, kind, and attentive. I regularly drive 45 minutes-1 hour or more for her services because I truly trust her and the quality of her work. She always checks in during the appointment, uses a mirror to make sure I'm happy with the results, and is very understanding if I ever need to take a break throughout the service or make adjustments.
