Absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had with a condo in PCB. The elevators are hot garbage and 1 only seemed to work when it wanted to. We were on the 15th floor with young kids so stairs wasn't an option. Be prepared to wait upwards to 20-30 min from the time you hit the up/down button to get to your destination, depending on where you're located. This is not an exaggeration. I've been going to Florida since I was a little girl and this is by far the WORST hotel room, hotel and even the elevator service I've ever experienced. To begin with, half our rooms light switches did not work so we had to work with specifically lamps which is okay. We then walked into whatever this was in the sink and also had to empty out the bowl that caught the sink water which was disgusting. Also strip the bed before you sleep on it because we pulled our sheets up the last day and the amount of pee stains just on the mattress was something I wouldn't want anyone sleeping on. That's the hotel room only, best part of it was the view, can't complain. Now the hotel was okay, has a small arcade, two pools, the staff that I met were really friendly, just wish they would manage the rooms appropriately. Now the evaluator was the WORST part of our experience. We were in Florida from Wednesday to the next Sunday and we spent 75% of our time on the elevator or waiting for it. I don't recommend this hotel unless you're on a budget, don't mind walking 15 flights of stairs and don't mind waiting 40 minutes with groceries going bad as you do. Before I forget, the little bar and grill, Bikini Bobs, it's moderately okay. Definitely not worth the price you pay though read more

We love the view! We stayed for 7 days and spent a lot of time on the balcony looking at the beach and people watching at the pool. We also love the Tiki Bar. Our unit was fine - it needs updating - but was adequate for us. We were there for July 4th and there were all kinds of fireworks to see on all sides. Our only complaint about the property is the elevators which are suffocating Hot and dirty. read more

The 3BR/3BA is amazing.....the view from the 15th floor is a fabulous view!!! The fact that unit 1504 has 3 king sized beds and 2 queen sized beds is beyond wonderful... But.... The floor was not cleaned before we got there, for a long while before we got there, the sliding glass doors barely open, our shoulders are worn out from hulking them, the sink is stopped up and we've been waiting 6 hours for the maintenance man to come replace the garbage disposal, the dryer needs a new heat sensor, doors are off the closets and being stored under the beds so you kick them during the night, the chair on the balcony broke when I sat in it and I fell to the floor. But the fact that only one of the elevators worked on several days of the week we were here and the slowness and heat in the remaining, barely working elevators was the worst part. One girl waited 45 min for the elevator to make it to her floor. We spent so much of our vacation waiting on elevators. For the price, this condo unit is not worth it. You can find 3/3 units on the west end of 98 that are newer units, with updated amenities for about the same price. Absolutely terrible. We were originally placed in room 807. We walked in, the place is at 75 degrees and it smells like straight mold. We tried turning on the AC, and it did not work. We told the front desk, and they said a repair man would be there shortly, even though we asked to switch rooms. The 77 year old woman staying with us would not have been able to breathe the moldy air either way. We had to go back to the front TWICE so the man would come in our room. After about an hour and a half, he arrived. he stayed for about 30-45 minutes, and he could not even fix the air condition!!!! We had to wait another hour and a half for them to finally change our rooms, when thats what we wanted to do in the first place. We finally got comfortable in our new rooms, and everything was fine. The last day, we needed a cart to bring our stuff down to the car. Every. Single. Elevator. Was. Broken!!!! They would go up, and back down, and pass up our floors. As our mom was complaining about the elevators, a worker yelled at her for complaining! I mean come on. its 90 degrees, we have to walk down stairs a bunch of things, were trying to rush so we dont have a late checkout fee. You definitely get what you pay for. terrible. read more

The only reason this place gets 1 star is because yelp needs a star to leave a review. I'm a current guest in this festering shithole that has clearly not seen a sponge,a can of paint, or Clorox since the 80s. In fact,calling it a shithole is a complement. A dead body would certainly take offense to being laid to rest here. What's worse is the staff knows what dump this place is makes no attempt to hide it. What's even more laughable is the cleaning fee that u have to pay up front. Simply stated take any 2 bedroom project housing in any inner city, don't clean it for 12 years and rent it out. My family and I stayed in room 224 from April 3rd to the 7th, 2019 and there is no way we would ever return. The room needs some serious cleaning and renovation - more cleaning than anything. From a blood stain on the curtain to smeared feces on the wall in the bathroom. We wore socks the entire time we were there due to how dirty the floor and carpets are. There was a consistent odor every day mid morning which we could not place - it may not have originated in this unit but it certainly invaded every day. I think it was some sort of mildew or mold in the vents. The construction going on was a disturbance since we had a rainy day. The jack hammer all morning - with three kids - 2 years of age being the youngest, you can imagine how the morning went. The property itself was extremely run down and dirty - elevators always full and slow. The pool was decent, as the hot tub but did not make up for our grievances. We visited during a Spring Break week and expected the environment of a typical college Spring Break but didn't fully expect to smell weed every day from our balcony and the staff did not enforce the quite hours. If I could give this zero stars I would and I do not recommend this unit or The Summit at all. read more

Use to be my to go place I love this place because of the amenities and location but this time we got a horrible room. It's full of roaches one just literally crawled on my arm as I was writing this review!!!! They claim they have no other rooms so couldn't move us. Its majorly outdated , furniture covered to hide rips and stains , stove two front burners dont work, kitchen is not very well stocked at all didnt even have a spatula to flip an egg, smells musty, Terribly upset and disappointed I've never stayed in a condo at pcb and had these kind of issues. When I was in office another poor guy was completely livid about a toilet that overflowed and all they did was turn it off. This place is a dump. Some rooms I hear are ok but it's the luck of the draw and not worth paying $280 a night to take a chance! Last time I will come here. read more

I made a reservation for July 2nd-5th for a 2nd floor condo. I went thru Airbnb. I rented from Myra from Dothan. The listing said that the condo had to rented for the entire week. I already had another Airbnb rented. I messaged Airbnb to make sure it.was ok for us to stay the 3 nights. Airbnb assured me that it was ok and my reservation was confirmed. So I canceled my other reservation. I would not have canceled my other reservation if they didn't assure me that my reservation at The Summit was confirmed. The host contacted me today and told me I had to cancel. Now the other place has been rented out and we're having a hard time finding a place. We are so upset. Especially my kids. I shouldn't have rented from her considering she has done this to others. One lady left a review saying Myra canceled their reservation 72 hrs before they were to arrive. So do yourself a favor and don't rent from Myra from Dothan cause she'll probably do it to you as well. read more

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star if 0 was an option. I booked a room through vrbo and the pictures completely did not match up with what we walked in to. We were a group of college girls on spring break and I've never felt more unsafe somewhere in my life. Anyone could be let in by their "security" that was an actual joke. When we entered the front gate they didn't even bother to check for identification. The minute we got out of our car we were cat called multiple times, stared down and followed by drunk men. The elevators were literally broken and everyone had to use the stair case that was probably a foot wide. Once we finally got to the room it was hot and cramped. There was no lock on the inside so if someone found out your door code anyone could get in.. very unsafe for a group of girls traveling alone. We had to barricade the door with all of our suitcases to make up for the lack of security. When my friend was entering the door code she accidentally typed in 2 numbers wrong but the door still opened! We also noticed a semen stain on one of the blankets. We immediately left the next morning it was that bad, $1800+ down the drain. Save your money and don't go to this ratchet, crusty, creepy resort. read more

I wouldn't even give this place a one star. We had a contract with a owner that said we had two parking spots! Ok I had to drive my other vehicle over a mile away to a open dirt lot and pay $50 dollars a week which is ok ... fine disregard a owners contract... but then tell me at 9 pm that I would have to take my family to the same parking lot because they were now full????? My 10,12,15,17 year old and my wife to a parking lot in the middle of abandon lot !!! Because there is no room for my one registered vehicle. My family has stayed in the same condo with the same owner for over 10 years. Look your welcome to stay at the Summit, but remember no matter how long you stay with them, no matter what loyalty you have shown them , you may find yourself parking 2 miles away with your family because they don't have room for you in their lot . Oh and you will be on your own . Paying charges for a open field not a parking deck which charges by the hour ! And what ever cost it takes you to get a ride at 9 pm at night. I am sure some of you have no problem paying 3to $400 less to stay at the Summit. You get what you pay for. I purchased a deal on Groupon so the rate was $99/night. I'm very glad I didn't pay any more than that because the condo is just not worth it. We arrived at 5:30pm to check in, only to quickly learn that we were in the nick of time because the front desk closed at 6pm. There were two customers ahead of me who had already checked in, but were back to complain about their rooms. There was only one person at the front desk and she was very dry, non-chalant, and short with everyone. I can only assume it was because it was so close to closing time. The condo itself is decent. We had the one bedroom with bunk beds. The bunk beds were not all that great. They are built into the wall and I guess maid services didn't feel like making the beds up because the sheets were literally just lying on top of the mattress. The master bedroom had dirty linen and I immediately notified the after hours number. The person on the other end of the line was very courteous and notified housekeeping immediately. However, it took about 2 hours for housekeeping to come. They did change the linen and left an extra fresh set. The furniture throughout the condo was nasty. Everything was dusty and the sitting room furniture was covered with sticky stuff. The only good thing I can compliment The Summit on is the beach access and view. I visit PCB quite often and have a favorite property to stay at. With existing reviews and the great deal on Groupon, I decided to give The Summit a try for a quick weekend getaway. This is my first stay here at The Summit and my very last. If you are a looking for somewhere to crash for a night and are not a hotel snob, then maybe I could recommend The Summit. Otherwise, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for your stay in PCB. read more

The condo is dirty, there are stains all over the wall and the air vent looks as if it hasn't been changed in a very long time. The staff and maintenance people are rude and seem like they only care about what their assigned task is ( which is funny because they don't even do that well). The summits only redeeming quality is the beachfront view. You are literally an elevator trip to the beach which is nice. Advice- look elsewhere read more

We recently stayed in a unit on the 4th floor that my friend's Aunt owns. Her Aunt was kind enough to let us use it for a girls getaway weekend. She has taken very good care of her unit and it is in pristine condition. The view is amazing and was very spacious and roomy especially for a group of girls and all our "stuff". The security at the summit offered up tips about the property and always smiled and went out of their way to open doors for us or grab the elevator. There is a large hot tub inside on the first floor by an exercise room. There are two outdoor pools between the building and the beach along with two kiddie pools. Sadly I saw birds using it as a bath more than kids playing in it. I blame this on our unintelligent neighbors who have never seen a seagull before? Throwing bread off their balcony overhead where people are laying out and swimming and EATING. Where birds fly birds poop- I had to bite my tongue not to say anything, but really? Don't feed the animals! So, there is also a tiki bar by the pools that plays music and serves up liquor, beer and snack type food. On the beach directly in front of the condos there are lounge chairs and umbrellas. You can rent two chairs and and an umbrella for 25$ per day. Anthony, the dude running the rental chairs is always coming by to make sure everything is good, sweeping sand off the end of your chair where your feet get sand on it, offering tips on the area and giving compliments to the ladies :) The bad reviews below look to be outside rentals. I guess you might need to know someone ;) I need to go back now. I would go here, cook all my food and stay in the ocean all day. I am not a fan of pcb, but the gulf has my favorite kind of clear water. Sold. read more

I would to start off by saying thank you to Eve who is condo manager for making our trip happen. My wife first booked our stay through RCI for Tidewater condos a few months in advance. We got screwed by RCI and tide water. They cancelled our RSVP without notice. The only place we could manage to get with short notice was The Summit. My wife spoke with Eve and she was able to accommodate us last minute .As for the condo it wasn't the greatest place we've stayed but it had all the essentials to make your stay enjoyable. We must of had a newly renovated room because all the appliances were new. The views were spectacular from our balcony on the 10th floor. The condo had two large swimming pools that my daughter really liked. Over all I would say that we really enjoyed our stay at the summit. read more

This is the absolute worst hotel experience I have had in my life. To start, I arrive at the hotel and want to check in. The woman at the front desk tells me that since I have to wait for the woman in the timeshare office. I end up waiting for over an hour! My husband was sick in the car and they didn't even bother calling the woman over the intercom until I waited for 45 minutes. Nothing was done to make up for our trouble. We get to our hotel room and it just keeps getting worse. The timeshare woman said our hotel room wasn't clean yet (even though we checked in a day late). She told the maid to re-clean a few things. The maid complained to us about having to do this saying that "it's not like this is a nice hotel, I don't know what she expects". It's never a good sign when people who work for the hotel talk crap about it. Our room was disappointing. Outdated appliances, lamps that didn't work, uncomfortable mattress etc. The absolute worse thing about this hotel though is that it is surrounded by several bars and clubs that blare music late into the night. The bedroom is on the hallway side as opposed to the beach side of the building so you can literally hear what the DJ says at the bar across the street. It was so loud! I'm all for having a good time but I don't want to be kept awake by a thumping bass when I am trying to relax on vacation! Overall, this is a crappy hotel. It would be fine for high school to college age kids but not for anyone looking for a nice relaxing vacation. read more

The only good thing about this place, is the view from the balcony. However, the people below us were constantly smoking cigarettes and pot..so that's what we smelled on the balcony. Unclean, rundown, loud, and they don't offer anything when spending all that money to stay there (towels, dish or laundry soap, water), and for the love of god.. the elevators are a bloody nightmare. You will spend at least half of your time waiting on one of the two elevators that they have. I even got questioned about my ID possibly being fake.. like what!? People at the front office are quiet, unhelpful, and when we walk in it smells like broccoli farts. Just go somewhere else. read more

When we arrived with 3 cars we were told the other two couldn't stay even though we were told we could in our reservation. Public Parking 2 MILES AWAY it was. At our expense. What a joke after having it in writing we would have parking. Then they have these wrist bands for everyone, for whatever reason bc they never asked for them, but they wanted to tell us that our condo that easily sleeps 12 and is rented as a 12 bed run it. can only have 8 in it! And if we had the fire Marshall called at any point we'd be kicked out. Last the elevator system was a mess. They didn't work, super slow and looked like they shouldn't be working at all. So we got here on Sunday and arrived at our room. The room was okay could use some more cleaning and they definitely need to clean under the mattresses on the bunk beds. The place needs to be updated for sure and they need to focus on cleaning and hospitality. Fast forward to today which is Thursday and we was at the pool relaxing and met a guy and his son that was also on vacation. He was outside because he had been drinking and they was telling him he could leave because he had made a complaint because his room had BED BUGS!!! There was bed bug evidence all over his pillows and the comforter and he was just trying to be moved to a different room. They was treating him awful. They also sent him a email (which my sister seen herself) telling him that if he said anything they would have him in court. He called the law just to make a report and they told him here at the Summit that it was private property and they can make you leave and not have to give you any of your money back. They also wouldn't give him the info to the person that owned the condo where he could contact them. This place is not well ran at all. This is definitely a first and a last for me. But, he did get his proof before they made him leave with his BED BUG in the jar along with his pictures. Now that he has left there was someone in his room that cleaned it in about 45 min and they have someone else in it already. Amazing how fast they let others in there with bed bugs. The stay here was fine. They have two big pools, two baby pools, two hot tubs, and a bar and grill right beside the pool area for convenience. There is some upkeep that needs to be done on the building, but the building is an older one and somethings were to be expected. We rented beach chairs for the week because people aren't allowed to set tents in front of them, caution though because people can set up umbrellas in front of them and one day a family had set up at least 7 together right in front of us where we couldn't see the water or our kids playing. We didn't spend much time in our chairs that day. The only real problem we had was check in. We used a timeshare my family owns. Check in is at 4pm. So we took our time driving and arrived at 5. When we arrived they told us that our room was not ready, telling us they had a lot of people call in. They told us it could be anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour. It was 630 before we got the call our room was ready. Once we were finally able to get in the room we began to unpack when my daughter said there was dirt in her bed. The bed had been perfectly made up with sand and dirt in it. The master bed had hair and dirt as well. I called downstairs and the manager said she would send some one up to change the sheets. Someone knocked at the door about 15 minutes later and it was a girl who didn't have any uniform or name tag to give the hint she worked there, but asked me if I had needed sheets. I said yes and she asked for which beds. I told her again. She told me she would be back and returned with a cleaning staff about ten minutes later to change the sheets. They changed the bunk beds and asked if I needed anything else. I said yes the master sheets. She then asked me what was wrong with them. I explained again they were dirty. I was told they would be back. Finally about 10-15 minutes later a man shows up at the door in regular clothes holding sheets asking if I had needed said sheets. I told him yes and he handed them to me before leaving. So to sum it up, check in was at 4 and we were finally able to take our kids to get some food at almost 9pm because of delays. Once that was over with we enjoyed our stay. The rest of our encounters with staff and security were enjoyable. But this place needs to get a little more organized on check ins. I've read through the reviews and the excuse we were given has been given several times before. It seems they aren't cleaning the room until that person arrives. So you might want to arrive early and hopefully they will get your room done on time. read more

Ok, so let's go! Well we drove 5 hours to get to Panama City, which was a nice lil drive. Once I arrived at Summit Beach it was around 12 noon, and check in was for 2. Ok no big deal right, WRONG early check in was an additional $20. I thought the room was paid for when I booked it via Groupon. The room was paid for but I had to pay an additional $147.00 for a cleaning fee. I was given wristbands to carry around with me the whole time I was there. I assumed it would just be a hotel room with a king bed. Negative when I opened the room door it was a mini apartment. Not bad for the price tho. The place is nice but outdated! The tub was stained so bad. The headboard was broke. The pool area was amazing and the beach was amazing! They need to hire a good cleaning company & a remodeling company! They price isn't bad just the decor. I gave 3 stars bc of the location, pool, and size of the unit. But the cleanliness was poor. I won't be returning due to that. I just felt like yuck in there and couldn't wait to do activities to get out the room. Even brought some Lysol spray to disinfect the bed and bathroom. I shouldn't have to do all that just to relax on a mini vacation. read more

Since this is going to cover the good and the bad, let's do the bad first. The door opened to a horrid, moldy smell. The entire condo was nasty....the bathroom was dirty and out-dated. The showerhead wouldn't stay in place, the cabinets in the bathrooms were just filthy. The door to the bathroom was broken or separated probably due to the moisture. The blinds in the bedroom were broken and this bedroom was straight in front of the elevators. The kids bunk beds did not have tails so there is a safety issue. The kitchen was out-dated and barely had the basic essentials to make a meal. The dishes were dirty, the cups had lipstick on them and the glasses were dirty. The chairs and tables on the balcony were just as dirty. The condo 1317 at the Summit really needs a little updating and a really good cleaning service!!!! For what I paid this condo should be a fully stocked and at least clean. Now for the good, it has access to the beautiful PCB, nice pools, and the entire outside resort area was very nice! Anyway I wouldn't reccomend this condo...in fact look elsewhere!!! Just not here! read more

We found a room at short notice for less than $700 for Aug 26 - Aug 31, 2018. We selected a unit on the 11th floor that was described as the best unit in the resort. On the day of our arrival we received a call stating that a maintenance issue would require us to take a different unit. We had unit 912. It was clean (yes some sand in the unit but you are on the beach). It had been painted since the 1980s but needs attention. The shower stall had no soap tray and had duct tape over the hole where it had been. The knob on the bi-fold door was still missing (noted on a review from last year). The peel and stick backsplash in the kitchen was really sad (kinda funny but sad). The cabinetry in the kitchen is old but the kitchen appliances were new. The bed was old, low to the floor, and the headboard is not attached to anything. The pillows were okay. We had no issues with the elevators but we came in on a Sunday night and left Friday morning. The pools were nice. The beach was fabulous. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE! We rented off of VRBO and the pics looked great. We arrived and the floors were filthy. All of our feet were black within hours. Had to have housekeeping come and re mop the floors. We have never been to PCB and decided on a last minute trip before school starts. This is a party area from the word go and we had no idea. We had our 4 kids with us and none of us could even sit outside on the balcony because of the smell of weed. We saw 2 adults smoking pot at the pool stoned out of their minds and the front office said it was allowed. When I talked to security the next day they said it absolutely is NOT allowed however the problem is they are not allowed to ask to see their medical card so it's basically a free for all when it comes to smoking pot. The entire condo community smells of it. We not only will never return to this condo community we will not return to PCB. If you have low low standards for vacation then this is the place to go. If you have any standards at all RUN and do not rent here. Don't be fooled by the gorgeous ocean views. read more

This place use to be fun. Now it's just a tragic mess!! Suppose to check in at 4 and finally got it room at 7pm. Peak season and all 4 elevators broke and office staff are the most unpleasant people and could care less. "It's not their job" as they do put it when asked about the elevator problem. Taking the stairs when your on floors 6 and below is not such a challenge but asking your guest that paid HEFTY rental fees to walk with ALL their belongings up 15 flights of stairs is ridiculous, and it poses a real danger if there were an emergency. 45+ minute wait if they have only one elevator running. Garbage shutes smell like we are staying directly in the dump, which with the way our condo looks we are. Cleaning staff is HORRIBLE so clean your own room! Code enforcement really needs to take a good look at this place. Will never stay here or recommend this place again read more

WORST EXPERIENCE in Florida yet. I'd give it no stars if I could. Rooms were dirty along with the sheets that had stains on them. Air conditioner did not work. Fridge had broken shelves and did not get cold. Television did not work in master suite. Parking overflowed regardless of parking that was supposed to be included with the hotel that I paid for. We were forced to park in the parking lot of the restaurant next door and walk to the hotel. Lastly, the staff was so rude. Did not care about guests or the comfort of their stay. Even if you asked an employee a question they seemed as if they had something better to do and could care less what you needed. I will never stay here again. read more

Came here for my senior week through Student Breaks May 2018. Place is clearly a racket for spring break/grad trips. Rooms were filthy and in bad condition, with less than a dozen towels and around 9 rolls of toilet paper for thirteen girls. When we tried to get more towels and toilet paper we were met with rude service and wound up paying for 12 more rolls of toilet paper for $26. The hotel general store was also dark and had expensive and expired inventory. Security is like Fort Knox but the "resort" is more like a big motel. I am a long time, returning guest and I have never been so disgusted with a company in my life! Upon check in to the ALREADY PAID IN FULL family vacation it has been nothing but disappointing. We were told upon arrival we could not check in before housekeeping inspection and cleaning was complete which is totally understandable and in fact appreciated and welcomed, how ever, the results of this process were baffling. The room was absolutely filthy and uncared for in the slightest. That's not to say there was "a little mess" there were quite literally blood stains on the sheets, walking from the front door to the balcony blackens your feet to the point it looks like you've walked across charcoal for 100 yards, there were used q-tips left in the Children's cubbies in the bunk beds, and the smell was appalling to the point we couldn't even describe the foul odor as a recognizable smell. We called to try to get assistance, not even a refund mind you, to us being told we should be responsible for washing and cleaning the unit ourselves! Which is puzzling considering we weren't contacted about the room until after 5:30 closer to 6 due to "CLEANING AND INSPECTION". When our outrage was expressed at the "SOLUTION" provided our number was blocked from contacting the "management". I WOULD RECOMMEND the abandoned club next door to "The Summit" before I would EVER recommend staying at this establishment. This was our first time staying at The Summit. I am a teenager, so I'm not super picky about where I stay, I just love to be at the beach. However, this place was straight up bad. My first disclaimer is that someone attempted to break into my car and shattered my window, however luckily I have tinted windows so the tint kept the pieces of glass together. There's no cameras for footage and the workers are definitely not competent enough to stop things like this. From the moment we arrived, the lady at the gate was extremely rude, greeting us by literally saying "Why are you here" (no smile or light-hearted tone). We came from Georgia where it was an hour later, so we were an hour early and had not gotten our room code yet. She was super rude about that and basically treated us like idiots. When I told her that my brother would also be arriving and would not have a room code either, she told me she'd allow him in as well, yet she gave him a very hard time too. The lobby people were also absolutely no help and basically just sat at their computers all day. The elevators in this place do not work and there's always a million people waiting to use them. I did give it one star because we were hit by a tornado and the building miraculously did not fall apart. read more

This was the trashiest place. I started with checking in and the front desk gave me a parking pass and arm bands for the wrong condo. When I tried to get back in, they saw this and said I was at the wrong place and wouldn't let me in, despite me saying I stayed there the night before! It took 10 min waiting at gate to get it cleared up. The room was soooo old, you could see visible bugs and layers of dirt in the old light fixtures, the fridge barely closed and everything from shower rods to mirrors and light fixtures had rust in them. The bed sheets felt like they had sand in them but it was little fuzz balls from their repeated use. The old brown carpet smelled musty and old. The couch was faded and stained. I only sat on it with a sheet over it. Gross place. The tub drain was so slow when you took a shower your feet were swimming to your ankles before you got out. The vents were broken and rusted. We also had friends in the area who couldn't even come to our room for dinner due to the high security that would barely let us back into our own place! Guess that's okay since I ended up not wanting anyone to come to this disgusting room. Only positive is the pools. I have gone to PCB for years and this place has made me never want to come back. When my son was playing in the sand I looked over several times to find cigarette butts sticking out the side of his sand castle. So sad such a pretty beach is being trashed so badly. It is definitely not a place to take a family. Many people were drunk or heading that way, and I have not seen so many people smoking in one place since the 90s. I will NEVER go back here. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Room 528 ALL bed linen was soiled, mold in every corner, food debris in fridge, dishes dirty, all faucets corroded, tub had been cleaned in years. Room wasn't ready for check in after two hours of waiting. This if the worse vacation ever. I've never been happier to leave and go home!!! Save yourself money and time by not staying here. Location is the only thing I deem appreciate for the one star!!! read more

The condo and pool was nice, the Summit itself is awful and I will never stay there again. My husband and I had to stay here for our HONEYMOON because we are under 25 and most places here will not rent to you if you are under that age. All the condos have an intercom system inside the room that you can't turn off and they woke us up around 8-9 am TWICE just to page a guest and again to tell guests to not leave their towels on railing or something. I felt like I was was in boarding school. They also do room inspections???? So they barge in on you in your room. Never again!! It ruined Panama City for me. This wasn't our choice resort to stay at. We were supposed to stay elsewhere but ended up finding out 2 weeks before our trip that our condo was no longer available. I was able to find a unit through Homeaway and I can say the owner was truly a good guy. The Summit is dated and quite honestly dirty. The areas by the elevators smell of a mix of urine and trash. The elevators take forever and are always crowded with no air conditioning making a ride to the 15th floor horrible. The pool area was clean and the beach access is great. We had multiple issues in our unit from broken doors to the AC shutting down and freezing up. We also were there during severe rainstorms and there was water literally pouring in over the top of the sliding glass doors. We had to use towels to attempt to sop up the water. We made the best of our stay, but definitely won't be returning to The Summit. read more
