Cute little local coffee shop in Atchison! I love to stop in for an iced coffee in the afternoons - the "What's Good Here" and vanilla lattes are my favorite. They also have a variety of baked goods that are solid. There's seating indoors to enjoy time with friends or get some work done, as well as some cute decor and other items to browse. Service is friendly enough and prompt getting orders out. Definitely a nice place to stop if you're in the area and want to support a local business! read more

Big fan :) I usually go for a seasonal coffee. One of the baristas made me a mocha with chocolate milk and hazelnut once and that was delicious. They almost always have some sort of baked good I want to try. The portions are large and the espresso is strong. read more

I went to Atchison for the Amelia Earnhardt race. In between we stopped at The Sunflower. I had a cinnamon twist and the hi light: Amelia's Final Flight drink with cranberry, lavender, vodka, lemon and other ingredients. It's absolutely the best beverage I've ever had. (Barring KC Ice Water at Reiger). The Sunflower is decorated with adorable Knick-knacks that you just need to explore. I will return to The Sunflower, if just for Amelia's Final Flight. What a darling little coffee shop! Another stop on our MI to OR road trip & it was such a great choice. The young lady working was so sweet & made delicious coffee drinks too! Ordered an iced latte & a mocha plus one of their cookies- yum! We got to talking about Atchison & she was knowledgeable about the area which was fun. For the typical coffee go-er I think the quality of coffee is adequate. Unfortunately if you are looking for a quality shot of espresso, or are looking to enjoy a nice latte without covering the flavor with lots of flavored sweeteners, you should look elsewhere. On multiple occasions I have watched them mutilate my espresso with extremely poor and careless shot-pulling procedures. This is such a shame to me however, because the atmosphere of this place is extremely nice and the employees have always been very friendly. They are simply in need of lots of retraining. read more

I'm from CA and when I come to visit my son who goes to school here, I always visit this place numerous times. This place is awesome. The coffee drinks are great. I got the caramel toffee latte hot and it was not too sweet and tasted so good. I also got the quiche supreme and it was the best quiche I ever had. I have also gotten the breakfast burrito there and that is also really good. And since I'm from CA, I thought the prices were very inexpensive for the quality you got. Lastly, the lady who owns this awesome place is very personable and great customer service. You can really tell she lives what she does. So if you are in Atchison, this place is a must! read more

I've got the jalapeño cheddar breakfast sandwich so many times and it is so good . The crispy bacon , the hot and soft pretzel bun and the egg and melted cheese . It is just delicious it is so good and I recommend it ! Not to mention their drinks are so good . The service is amazing the workers are kind and work fast , not to mention the decor on the inside is just beautiful and it is very clean in there . We stopped through Atchison on our way home from vacation so we decided to do a phone order and pay over the phone so we could run in and grab the food to get back on the road. We got a breakfast burrito, a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, a vanilla chai tea latte with pumpkin spice flavoring, a cinnamon roll, a chocolate chip scone, and a pumpkin muffin. Not only was the order correct, ready and waiting when we got there, it was also DELICIOUS! Everything was perfect! And we grabbed it and got back on the road in under 5 minutes!! read more

Stopped in for breakfast basically it's just a local coffee shop that serves sandwiches similar to Starbucks or Panera my wife is very picky about her coffee and she said the coffee was not very good we had a sausage egg and cheese sandwich it was OK but was expecting more of a variety for breakfast and that's our fault read more

Visiting the area and was tired of the breakfast at the hotel. This is a place we found because of our son who is in nearby college. Food is great! Beautiful place. Very well decorated. All of the staff were extremely friendly and the coffee and food was great. We had a wonderful waitress named Emily. She was extremely helpful and sweet. She is a student at Benedictine and recommend coffee and food choices that were fabulous.
