A staff member later admitted she kept it quiet because she was afraid of getting in trouble. Even after giving them a chance to improve, the biting continued. When I expressed that I was looking at other daycare options for safety reasons, the director told me we should "part ways." My daughter the victim was the one pushed out, while the child who bit her stayed. This level of supervision, lack of transparency, and unfair treatment of my child was unacceptable. I've filed a formal complaint with the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. I would not recommend this facility to any parent looking for a safe, trustworthy environment.

Our daughter loves it there and has made so many friends. She has been going there since she was an infant and is now in the 4s. I am tough to please and they have always answered any questions or calmed any concerns I may have had. The teachers there are excellent. I love their nature based program and now the STEM program. Just last week she told me the months of the year with excitement. Some days she comes home a mess with paint from an art project or from playing outside. She was very helpful on the phone and told me she would call me early the week of the class to let me know if it was going forward. Sure enough it was cancelled but she was able to place us in a painting class that Friday. The class was crowded but the instructors were great about going around each group to make sure we were following along and answering any questions we had. The class lasted about 2 hours and it went by very quick. It was tons of fun and we can't wait to go back! PS: Parking lot fills up fast but there's plenty of on street parking.

The teachers and administrators really care about the kids and provide an environment that is not only safe and warm but creative and challenging. We love the emphasis on fresh, natural foods (all food is provided/included, which is SO convenient) and outdoor play. They also do a very cool "Summer camp" program where the kids have outdoor/water play all morning every day, and the preschool/pre-K kids have several field trips.
