I ordered through Uber Eats and they adjusted my charges because of add ons but it was a build item that had individual charges for each item and the other was made standard. This is a definition of a quick one stop bakery. The restaurant is easily accessible on short vine, and they're relatively quick with orders. The chocolate ice cream is frozen chocolate milk made with cheap chocolate syrup. There is only one station for them to make the Thai style "rolled ice cream" which causes there to be quite a long wait. Found this place by chance after driving down to get some Jamaican food at Island Frydays. While waiting for my food, I decided to stroll in here and give it a shot. I'll tell you right now, I'm not sure why this place only has an average rating because the cookies and cupcakes I had here were some of the best I've had. I even have the signed and sealed approval of my wife and 3 children. Service was friendly and helpful, they even loaded me up with a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven. If I were going to have one thing from here again, it would be the s'mores cookie. They bake a graham cracker within the cookie dough along with the chocolate and marshmallow. They recommended heating the cookie in the microwave for 15 seconds and that is exactly what I did. Amazing! Highly recommended! read more

I'm sorry, their vegan ice cream and milkshakes are delicious, but I never leave reviews and I feel obligated to because of this. They have canceled my order- on 2 occasions through 2 delivery services with absolutely no explanation. The first time after they cancelled, they removed one of the items from the menu. If I was contacted and told it was sold out I would have been fine with the other item I'd ordered. But since they canceled that order, I lost my "$5 off first order" coupon with them and had to wait ANOTHER 2 hours for the second order I placed from them that night to finally come. Now this time, I had my order placed at 3pm and scheduled to come at 5:30-6:00pm. At ~5:40, they cancelled my order. No explanation. Again. Now they are not accepting orders. They are still open, I tried to call to ask if something was just out of stock so I could place a different order instead and they will not answer their phones. I really want to support them, and their dessert options are delicious, but they need to get their shit together. If an item is sold out, don't cancel someone's order without contacting them (I know their is an option through the app and other places have done this for me before) because both times now, I have waited HOURS, when I could have ordered from elsewhere- from someone who is reliable. read more

This place is the cutest! Love the retro decor and their desserts are photo worthy pretty, SO delicious and freshly made in house. I got the cutest cake pops as gifts for friends and 2 of their cupcakes for myself, the cream cheese icing is bomb. Brandi was so friendly and helpful and I love that this shop is a woman and black owned small business in Cincinnati. WORST customer service I've ever dealt with. The part owner made a rolled ice cream for me. This is located near my apartment so I've been before and she has started to know who I am. I ordered almond vanilla and took it to go. When I got back home I ate it and it tasted like cherry cough syrup. I called the store to let her know in case someone else ordered it. She started getting very aggressive telling me "it's not cherry I know what I made" and being extremely rude. I offered to bring it back so she could tell for herself to which she kept telling me I don't need to taste it it's not cherry. I told her it's not what I asked for and asked if she'd remake it if I came in. She told me she'll talk to her partner and call me back. This is 4 hours before they closed and I never received a call. Horrible person, horrible service. read more

If you haven't had The Sweet Place you HAVE to go! The cupcakes and cakes are so moist and flavorful. The red velvet is perfect. The churros and funnel cakes are to die for. I love that you can get so many flavors of almond milk because I'm lactose intolerant and so many people don't have dairy alternatives! So grateful I love that you can get cereal or Oreos with it too, such a perfect snack' I get this all the time late night, using doordash or postmates, that's the best part!! Cute little shop! I went in the evening and they still had a pretty good selection. The gentleman helping me was very knowledgeable, he knew every product and what was in it. I don't know what's going on with these negative reviews, but I've been here multiple times and the customer service is always great. I've tried most menu items at this point. The cupcakes are great but should probably be made 50 cents cheaper. The cookies are spectacular and a much better value than Insomnia Cookies. The ice cream is amazing. Right now there are some hiccups; their are only two employees working and they work 16 hour days. Only one ice cream rolling station so the wait can be a bit... BUT: there are big plans for this business. A bigger menu, a bigger staff, more ice cream stations, just give this place a chance so it can get to that point. Don't listen to the negative reviews. I was so disappointed. ive gotten treats from there before and was pleased but they seem to have lost their desire to make good treats. i got a slice of lemon glazed pound cake i dont know what it was that they gave me but it was so nasty my 11 yr old grandson didnt even like it and ive never seen an 11 yr old boy say no to anything sweet. it was soggy and sour. what should have been glaze was something sour poured over the cake it was so drenched with it the cake fell apart. ive always talked highly of this place, now you cant ever get my haed earned money again.they dont deserve even one star. your business charges too much for it to be that poor of quality. read more
