Hello DOLE WHIP!! I'm a huge fan of dole whip so imagine my surprised when I saw it on the menu for this little ice cream shop at Summit Park. Nanny's was clean, fully stocked with quick service. Due to the hot and humid August sun, we opted to sit inside and enjoy the air condition. Much like the other no frills offerings at Summit Park, the menu had a variety of offerings of soft serve, sweets, bake goods, dole whip, pizza, and other kid friendly eats. Much like the other eateries in Summit Park, indoor seating is limited. Pro tip -- For the young lady making the Dole Whip float ALWAYS ADD THE ICE CREAM/DOLE WHIP BEFORE ADDING THE SODA. Because of this misstep in the making of the float I got only half of the float in my actual cup after all the foam dissolved. I was so excited about the Dole Whip float I neglected to take a picture and did not bother to correct the issue. As a single childless woman enjoying a quick jaunt in the park with a friend, it was a satisfactory experience. I'm sure parents and patron with small children will have a great experience. Walked in and immediately felt like I was intruding since we were the only people there. My boyfriend ordered a shake and immediately the guy asked if that was all, there were two people so obviously that's a no. I went to order and again after everything I said he asked if that was it. I did not get what I wanted, I asked for marshmallow topping, if it had it in there I wouldn't know because he ran it through the shake machine. Super weird and uncomfortable. read more

I've been here a couple times as I wanted to see if my experience was a one off or if the service was truly this bad. If you want ice cream and don't care about service, Nanny Belle's is fine. Soft serve, ice cream, and slushies - I'd give a 3.5 to 4 out of 5. The reason I am dropping it to a 3 is that customer service is terrible. Two of the employees (whom we've encountered twice) were so rude to not just my children and I, but to other people putting orders in. It's like we were inconveniencing them by buying from the shop. A very good place for ice cream and frozen treats in Blue Ash. It's located in the Summit Park business complex. They are good for cooling off after playing around outside. It has some indoor seating. They also have a walk up window. I didn't know this place was even here. I came to the park to hang out and go to the Blue Dog Cafe. This is located on the northern side of the business complex right next to Tahona. A lot of good choices for everyone. They have several flavors of Dole Whip. It's about $3 for a cup. They had orange and pineapple. It is one of the better places to get ice cream. It's because they're in a really nice park. They also have indoor seating unlike many other ice cream places. read more

Nanny Belle's is a ice cream shop located in Summit Park. They have a sit down space and a walk up window. We used the walk up window due to COVID-19 restrictions. The service was extremely fast and the staff was very kind. The shop has a variety of selections; sundaes, soft serve ice cream, floats, malts, lemonades, drinks, and many other options! We got a ice cream float, blueberry ice cream, and an espresso soft serve. The ice cream was excellent! Highly recommended! The location is great for date nights or play dates with the kids! Stopped by after ice skating, it's such a charming little shop, the walls and decor is girly and adorable. It makes you want to go inside. The Service was good, the girls working were welcoming. We wanted frozen yogurt but they ran out so we had a cappuccino a hot chocolate and shared a blue ice cream. The cappuccino was flavorless but the other two orders were great. I would probably suggest that for the people that are dining in they have real cups, plates etc that match the place. I recommend you give it a shot! read more

YaY a place with the awesome Cincinnati "Blue" ice cream. I love all things blueberry and crave this stuff, which isnt easy to come by. I took advantage of their convenient walk up window to grab a quick cone after lunch. The staff was friendly and prices seemed reasonable. There is an indoor dining area with tables too, although I didnt go in there. Menu seems pretty expansive as far as items, not a ton of flavor options in soft serve, but personally I think blueberry is all you need! :) Great way to treat yourself after some exercise in the park! read more

Wonderful new family-owned business. Located in the newly constructed Blue Ash Summit Park. Ice cream and treats and more, definitely not friendly to the conscious waistline, which makes it that much more delicious. I have stopped in on several occasions, but this is the first time I was able to "check-in." The owner says they use a higher content of milk fat which makes it so creamy and tasteful compared to other soft serves. My favorite is their new Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwiches. The cookies are unique in that they are airy. You have to try it to understand what I mean. My wife says she doesn't like soft serve, but this was the best ice cream she has ever had. You can either sit inside or just order from the walk-up window. It's a quaint little place, and definitely refreshing if you've been hanging out at the park, or just had dinner in the nearby Blue Ash area. The owner said they will have some light lunches, and possibly light breakfast offerings. Can't wait to see what that will be like. Good soft serve! They don't have a big variety but it was refreshing to enjoy a cold treat in the park. They have dog scoops too! The vanilla soft serve was good and I would like to try out one of their sundaes at some point. Its about $2.75 for a sugar cone and small soft serve but their generous with the serving size. We came in after a fun afternoon playing at Summit Park. It was super easy to walk to, and the restaurant is clean. We got a pineapple soft serve and it was pretty decent and not bad for the price. There weren't too many selections in my opinion but it is one of the few places I do have blueberry soft serve! They were out but I am excited to try it the next time we are there. Dole Whip...nothing like going to Disney Land and getting some pineapple soft serve. I actually thought it was exclusively at Disney, so my little heart fluttered a little bit when a piece of the tiki tiki room was discovered in summit park. The dole whip is good, but not like I remembered it from Disney. I felt the same way about the other flavors being just not as good. Rather than soft serve, it has the mouth feel more of like chilled whipped cream. Almost like cool whip in some instances. The location is great and the highlights are the close proximity to summit park and the playground. Great for family and kids to enjoy a day outside. Menu items I could recommend are the chip wheel and the pineapple dole whip. So if you are around and need a cool down, Nanny Belles would be good to check out. Can never predict if they will actually be open during their hours. If you aren't going to be open during proposed business hours, have an up to date website that posts if you've closed early. I've packed our kids up 4 times in the last month alone on beautiful weather days to show up to them closed prematurely. Lost a customer here. read more
