A cup of lightly-floral lavender vegan ice cream. And a cookies & cream cone. Street-parking right out front is time-limited for takeout. There's longer parking up and down both sides of Summit Parkway. And there's a park8n* lit and more street parking a block away on Summit Place. When you're not walking across the street to the Summit Playground, there's a handful of tables out front, and when 5hose were full, no-one minded that we sat in front if the bar next door. On this particular visit I came because I saw them post they had Cannoli ice cream. That is my favorite all time flavor but I have never found it outside of NY. This was perfection. It was even better than I could have hoped even included crunch shell in the mix. The inside is bright and has plenty of tables. All the staff here is always sweet and helpful. Good, hand scooped ice cream at a reasonable price (comparable to Graeter's). The store itself is very airy... High ceilings, good spacing. A nice touch that you can self serve water. We were the only people in the store and the employees were more than willing to give us some samples, which was good as we did not prefer the ice cream made with coconut milk (I imagine a great choice for those with allergies though). I absolutely love the ambiance of the shop, and the Summit Park area is a perfect place to enjoy ice cream, in general. We were immediately greeted as we walked in by three of the friendliest servers and offered to sample any of the flavors. One of my favorite flavors, coconut chip, was not available, so the server suggested I try the vegan chocolate- chocolate chip because it is made with coconut milk. Typically, I find chocolate ice cream to be boring. However, this vegan version was game-changing. The coconut milk was well pronounced and made made my taste buds sing. I decided to order a milkshake prepared with both pistachio and vegan chocolate ice cream. OMGOODNESS! It was so good.
