Gold Spoon Creamery in Summit Park is serving up yummy ice cream with rotating flavors and plenty of vegan options too! It's the perfect stop for a stroll through the park and a refreshing dessert on a warm day. Definitely a spot you'll want to check out this season! The ambiance is great inside with plenty of seating and the service was great too!
How to become a kid again! Love this ice cream place, very nice location with a park outside where to have a stroll while eating on a huge two-spoon cone! Their waffle cones are perfectly crunchy and the flavours of gelato available are plenty and all super tasty. Service is quick but the place get always super busy, especially with family and kids around, so it can be noisy.
Another great brownie sandwich. The ice cream on top of the brownie is a must try if you love both sweets!
They have several vegan options. Unfortunately I didn't care for most of them. Chocolate mint was the only good one I've had so far. They rotate flavors every week I believe. Cookie was good in the center but hard on the outside. Usually service is very friendly other times they are busy talking amongst themselves. Pleasant interior. Great location! We love walking around the park then coming in for a treat!
Gold Spoon is a Cincy gem that I desperately need more people to know about. They do unique small batches that are just divine. On this particular visit I came because I saw them post they had Cannoli ice cream. That is my favorite all time flavor but I have never found it outside of NY. This was perfection. It was even better than I could have hoped even included crunch shell in the mix. The inside is bright and has plenty of tables. All the staff here is always sweet and helpful. There is some nice outdoor seating overlooking the park as well. Follow their social media for fun limited time release flavors! Make sure to try the waffle bowl! OH and sign up for rewards! Theres a bday surprise!

Great local place. We went because the other ice cream at Summit Park was closed, and I'm glad it was, because this is better. Good, hand scooped ice cream at a reasonable price (comparable to Graeter's). The store itself is very airy... High ceilings, good spacing. A nice touch that you can self serve water. Scenic outdoor seating too. We were the only people in the store and the employees were more than willing to give us some samples, which was good as we did not prefer the ice cream made with coconut milk (I imagine a great choice for those with allergies though). Our group picked chocolate, cookies and cream, and pistachio. My favorite was the cookies and cream, which had appropriately sized cookie chunks. The waffle cones are totally worth it.

For the ice cream, absolutely straight to the top of my ice-cream-in-Cincinnati list. So creamy and flavorful, the hints of tea were strong in my blue match and so delicious/creamy/balanced. Thank you for the delicious vegan ice cream flavors! I chose a cone with the coconut milk-based Cookies & Cream. It had nice big chunks of Oreo as well as a slightly more prominent coconut flavor than usual, which was a good thing to me! Service was quick and ready to help. They do sell vegan pints, which is awesome (but priced too high in my book, at almost double the price of a pint of Graeter's). They have dairy free ice cream and gluten free ice cream options, too.

Gold Spoon Creamery -- love this place!! It is my go to for hard scoop ice cream! Their ice cream is premium and absolutely incredible! They have AMAZING gluten-free and dairy-free options--even a gluten-free waffle cone, which is such a win! I love the cookie dough flavor--it is absolutely delicious, and the vegan strawberry is amazing too! Nothing there tastes artificial; everything tastes so fresh and real. The strawberry even has real pieces of strawberries in it, which makes it SO good! They're also in such a cute location where you can walk around, and there's a really nice park nearby if you want to take the kiddos. Such a fun spot for an ice cream day! read more
Great flavors! Across from the Summit Park playground! Heading to the Summit Park playground in Blue Ash, OH, on a hot sunny day, (May 2026), we were so happy to find an ice cream shop. Even happier to find great flavors. And happier still for tasty vegan options! We had nicely minty not-green Mountain Mint in a cone, and tasty sweet lemon sorbet in a cup. And a perfectly wonderful cone of vegan mildly-coconut chip ice cream. It was all so good, we came back on a subsequent evening! Another cone of the vegan coconut chip. A cup of lightly-floral lavender vegan ice cream. And a cookies & cream cone. Street-parking right out front is time-limited for takeout. There's longer parking up and down both sides of Summit Parkway. And there's a park8n* lit and more street parking a block away on Summit Place. When you're not walking across the street to the Summit Playground, there's a handful of tables out front, and when 5hose were full, no-one minded that we sat in front if the bar next door. The flavors were all good, and the staff was friendly even at closing time :-). read more

This ice cream shop is located amongst other neighboring businesses and nestled within an apartment complex. Definitely had great curb appeal but, let's go inside to find out how they match up! As I entered I'm hit with a sweet aromatic smells! I tried Saint Looey Gooey; cream cheese ice cream with chunks of pound cake and pockets of gooey caramel. I was quite confuse, where's the caramel? Cream cheese flavor?? All I could taste was the pound cake! I skipped on that one and had no desire to try anymore. So I ordered, vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone. Sadly, just reminded me of the generic brand of vanilla ice cream. The vanilla bean specks were there just not the flavor. Disappointing! On the positive side, the freshly made waffle cone was delicious all by itself! read more

Sending a shout out to Gold Spoon Creamery in Blue Ash. We visited today for a tour and ice cream. Emily was very knowledgeable, and the girls thought it was cool to get a behind the scenes peek at where the ice cream was made. Highly recommend them as a shop to stop by if you're in Summit Park this summer! read more

It isn't often I feel like an ice cream shop can also pull great shots of espresso, but this one can! They are three for three with great ice cream and americanos, consistently across three visits! The 'just chocolate' flavor ice cream is superb and understandably my toddlers favorite. Only minimal suggestion for improvement would be homemade syrups for coffee, but what they are doing already complements the monin syrups read more

Stumbled upon this amazing ice cream shop right next to summit park. It's such a cute place and most importantly clean! Most ice cream places are swarmed with flies but not this place. Ordered the strawberry swirl and vanilla bean and it was delicious. The strawberry swirl had real chunks of crushed strawberries! The staff was so friendly and patient as I had little ones with me. They have a great selection of flavors and even had pawsicles! We will definitely be back for another visit! read more
My teenage son and I visited GOLD Spoon for the first time and to sum up the experience in one word: YUUUUMMMMM!!! I absolutely love the ambiance of the shop, and the Summit Park area is a perfect place to enjoy ice cream, in general. We were immediately greeted as we walked in by three of the friendliest servers and offered to sample any of the flavors. One of my favorite flavors, coconut chip, was not available, so the server suggested I try the vegan chocolate- chocolate chip because it is made with coconut milk. Typically, I find chocolate ice cream to be boring. However, this vegan version was game-changing. The coconut milk was well pronounced and made made my taste buds sing. I decided to order a milkshake prepared with both pistachio and vegan chocolate ice cream. OMGOODNESS! It was so good. My son opted for a cotton candy milkshake, and he was equally excited about his choice. Needless to say, we will be returning soon and often. read more

The Pistachio ice cream has a great flavor but there was a bit too many chunks of pistachio for me. The Affogato with lavender ice cream is phenomenal and worth going out of your way for. The staff was friendly and helpful and encouraged us to try samples. They use Metal sampler spoons which is a nice alternative to wooden popsicle sticks or spoons. The restaurant was very clean and had a minimalist approach to decor. They also have merch with a few cute design options. read more
This was our first time to Gold Spoon and all I can say is Oh My How Cute! The art deco decor, personalized neon light, soft pinks/golds/turquoise colors are so inviting! Their menu is also one of THE most gf/v/df friendly ice cream menus I've ever seen in the Cincinnati area! I ordered mini scoops (how awesome is it that you can order mini scoops?!) of the chocolate chocolate chip (v) - think almond joy candy bar...soooo delicious... and the strawberry swirl (v) with chunks of actual strawberries in it! I will 100% be back and will 100% make the drive specifically to come here! read more

This place was such a gem! My son has a dairy allergy, and we were looking for some dairy free options. They had 5 different flavors that were available to him! They let him try it and he liked all of them! I had their lemon sorbet, which was delicious on a hot day! The ambiance of the store was so cute too!! I love the gold accents and decor. read more
Really cute ice cream place next to Summit Park. I didn't realize it was there because I don't normally walk around the apartments that were built right next to the park. My friend and I split an ice cream sandwich with two massive brownies, and it was amazing! A little expensive, but the serving was huge. I'll definitely be back again! Also, if you eat in, you get to use their little golden spoons which is a fun touch. read more
Everyone loves ice cream but not everyone can have ice cream. Perhaps you have gluten sensitivity, or you're lactose intolerant then this place has options for you. If you're vegan but love ice cream indulge here. They pride themselves on delivering the purest taste of ice cream to "professional tasters". Tips to make your visit a success: 1) Sample some flavors. The menu is packed with flavors you've probably never heard of or experienced. Saint Looey Gooey sounds crazy but taste delicious. Sample and find out for yourself. 2) Waffle cones and bowls for everyone. Waffle cone dipped in white chocolate and with sprinkles need i say more, no but i will. It was mind blowing and that explosion continued to my tongue and tummy. 3) Appreciate the significance of the gold spoon. I won't spoil the story for you as to why the serve the ice cream with a gold spoon (not real gold but symbolically so) but suffice to say it's worth looking up. Ice Cream is for everyone that's a fact and this place endeavors to make it so. read more
