They did not provide any unique "calculations." I have some questions about how the survey was conducted and information that was said to me. A separate survey crew hired by a neighbor came by the day after our property was staked. They used the markers on our property for a neighbor on the other side of our street-- they asked me who did our staking. It's close enough for building flower beds along the property, but I will use a different company in the future for establishing property lines.

My university rents space in a cummings building (where I work full time as a researcher) and throughout the time we have been here the elevator has been broken countless times (40+?), the building gets way too hot or way too cold such that our experiments get messed up all the time (wasting tons of money, resources, and of course time), and right now they are doing construction during prime working ours (9am-5pm) and it's so loud that I can't talk to someone 6 feet away from me. This has been going on for weeks and will surely go on for months given the state of the construction. Obviously, this type of construction should be done at night and they should pay extra for this to be done overnight because this is unacceptable working conditions. There are also frequent leaks in the ceiling including a massive one above a bench that cannot be used. We have also had to conduct lab meeting with water dripping from the ceiling because there is an issue with the roof of this building that is not being fixed. I'm not sure I can remember everything wrong with this building, but I've been here for 3+ years and these issues have been long-standing.
