If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I went in and got a basic shirt, basic design that took all of 10 minutes to complete. The gentleman had no trouble explaining how to send the photo which I had to get myself by the way. it didn't turn out to be the best quality, but I wasn't too worried about it since I only had plans to wear it once. I went to cash out imagine my surprise when this guy turns the payment machine in charge of me $70 for one short sleeve T-shirt. I am immediately confused and can't begin to understand how that's possible. I voice my concern and disappointment that this is just now being communicate. Then he tells me I have to pay once printed. I found a different shirt for $25 and went to try and return that shirt again hoping to speak to somebody else. I said that I would pay for the time but I physically wanted to not take the T-shirt so I figured I'd at least get to $35 back for the product itself. At this point a different employee why I paid for the merchandise if it wasn't to my liking. I pointed out that the gentleman standing next to him told me that I had no choice. read more

I went in to see if there was a copy of a print of a shirt I bought here, and the guy working there right now was rude and pressuring my boyfriend and I to buy something. And then on our way out the door he was making comments that we're too broke to buy anything, and said, "their actions say they're too broke to buy something" , and as we left the store he was saying loudly to his coworker, "see! I told you they're broke and won't buy anything". read more

Place has limited customer service skills. Bought a shirt for my son and was "pre-shrunk"....washed and dried it and it shrank a few sizes. Took it back in and the guy says, "nothing you can do but buy another one".... Terrible customer service. read more

Was desperately looking for a printing shop that does rush orders and t shack was the only one that was able to do it. Literally just 1 shirt. I really recommend not coming here during busy hours. One one guy, multiple customers, didn't get a chance to ask him to help me so I just let him print the shirt. Came out really disappointing, and he goes, "see not bad right" huge discoloration and the colors look faded...I've learned my lesson. Plus the print was crooked....$45 wasted read more

Went in to get a design printed on a few hoodies and there was one guy at the register and no customers, he didn't bother to even look up from his phone or ask if I needed anything. Reluctantly I asked for pricing and he proceeded to move things around and just said $40 for a hoodie and designs start at $20.. then he turned his back towards me and that was it. He looked annoyed and I wasn't going to force him to speak to me so I left. Considering how bad things are due to COVID, I would think sales would be important to them but he just ended up losing me as a customer for a pretty large order. Places like this don't deserve to stay open. read more

I wanted a t-shirt with a marvel character and when I walked in, a customer was waiting for service. I asked her if she worked there because it was an uncomfortable delay of 5 minutes be fore I asked and she said no. Another 5 minutes passed until the attendant popped out of the back and greeted me with 0 enthusiasm. I asked if he could make me a shirt and he said send my idea to the email address of shirtshacktacoma@gmail.com. I sent it 3 times with no response. Garbage customer service. That place needs training and morale boosting. read more

I came in to purchase 3 shirts for a girls road trip. I wanted our grade school group photos on our shirts. We washed them once as per their instructions. After the wash, the decals were super faded and our photos were WHITE! 2 corners from one of the decals was peeling off. I called to voice my concern and I was hung up on. I went there yesterday to get a 2 custom hoodies done and waited 3.5 hours and it still wasn't done. I ended up getting into a bad argument with Luke the manager and just asked for my money back and he refused saying he doesn't have authority. I spent $150 and you won't give me my money back! I ended up calling Tacoma police and filling a report and mall security came in and tied to get him to give my money back and he wouldn't. I will have to file a complaint with my credit card company to try to get my money back. Do not shop there! Luke is rude and kept telling me his other customers mattered and had something smart to say after I spent my money and he stole from me! I will also be contacting the BBB and if I have to take them to court, I will be doing that also. read more

Didn't came out how I would like it. A little disappointed. The only color green on the shirt(and want this color to specifically pop) and it came out way darker green than initially showed. Was told that, that's the only color green they had beside neon green. Would have been good if they call or notify you before proceed. Also there was cracked on the design and was told that's how it is. :-( definitely communicate my disappointments but seem like they won't do anything about it because it's done. Would even hesitant to come if it's the only option. read more

My husband loved the sweatshirt he bought but after having it for one week we were visiting a sick relative and had to wear a visitor sticker on our shirts. It was a standard "my name is" type sticker and it completely took off the design when peeled off. We've never had this happen with other printed clothing items. When he took it back the store, they refused an exchange or refund. I'm shocked at a store,with so much competition for business in this day & age, that doesn't stand behind the quality of their work. They said it wasn't their fault. Super disappointing. He got a discount on another one but I would have discouraged him from giving this store any more money if I had been with him. He's had so many compliments on the sweatshirt which could have been great advertising but unfortunately we'll be telling people to steer clear. read more

Absolutely unacceptable service! I paid $45 for a shirt and they never asked where I wanted the print, or how I wanted it. When I told them that the way they did it was not the way I wanted, they proceded to tell me "oh well, if you want to pay $30 more I will fix it." When I asked for the owners name and number, they proceded to tell me that the owner was going to not care and was going to be on the employees side no matter what I said! More then disrespectful and I will never return. I will also be calling the owner and telling everyone I know how horrible the service was here! read more

Recently had hoodies customized and don't have any complaints about them. I do have to comment on the customer service which was an unfortunate experience. The man was not kind. The treatment we received in comparison to the others in the store was obvious and would have been extremely offensive had I not taken into consideration that he might be having a bad day. A customer had apologized to him for taking so long to send the photo he wanted customized to his email and his response was "no worries your time". Our response after making a similar statement was "please" accompanied with obvious frustration. His tone, comments, and responses throughout our time there made it very clear that he did not want our business. Had it not been for the urgent need I would have not spent my money here. It was very hard to swipe my card for payment after the treatment we received. It was my first time and it will be my last. I would not recommend this establishment until customer service to ALL customers becomes a priority. read more

I own and operate a local business here in Tacoma. I went here to get some hats done and shirts. They seemed overworked when I showed up. Without really getting into details what I wanted they wanted to charge me. I went ahead and did the order. I was not given a break down of prices on everything. I spent over $65 on 1 tshirt (which the logo was not centered) and two hats. I asked for them to embroider the hats, I got screenprint. I asked the guy to look at the shirt and he said it was perfect. I tried on the shirt and had him look at it again. Still he replied it was perfect. It's definitely off center.
